Had problem with clutch pedal return spring that came out causing car to not operate. I called SWANSONS and they got car in and was told everything was fixed. Costed is $415.00. Bout 10 days later the clutch pedal spring comes off again and found clutch master cylinder is leaking. So I called spoke with mechanic and he admitted that the master cylinder did have a leak he couldn't fix. So now car is even worse and cannot be driven.So I contacted Iowa attorney generals office and fair consumer agency to have them step in make things right.I want to say is when you say that you fixed the car and it wasn't fixed and you pay the repair bill. That becomes "illegal"

I ve been going to Jeff for over two decades. He s always quick with any repairs needed, and his work is always done right the first time.He s always sure to explain in detail exactly what broke/went wrong, and what needs to be done to fix it.I ve had a myriad of issues over the years, and he s done it all. Completely engine replacement, transmission replacement, brake work, exhaust replacement, etc the guy is a wizard, I think.I highly recommend his shop to anyone needing auto repairs.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

Swanny has been our family mechanic for years. He's trustworthy, reliable, and always has great breakfast recommendations for early morning appointments! Whenever we have an issue we call him knowing he would never overprice anything or take advantage. Sometimes he brings along his dog to hang out with you in the waiting room, which only adds to the overall charm and comfort of the place. Best mechanic ever! I'll be sad to move away and not have him to rely on anymore.

I had a great experience here. Friendly and honest service. I was called before any repairs were made and with a very accurate estimate of the cost and time. Extremely happy with the result. I am new in town and am so happy to know a great place to take my car when it needs some TLC!
