Rooms are clean and fairly updated. Nothing super fancy, but if you're looking g for an affordable good hotel this is it. Only 3 floors, so not huge.Staff is so kind and welcoming. Gal woth super short blonde hair was amazing. My daughter got sick in our room and all over the carpet. She moved us to a new room that was clean and made sure we had everything we needed from towels to blankets. She let me know there was door dash in town and some restaurants that delivered so we could hunker down while we rode out the illness.Next morning she greeted us and asked if everyone was better, we were. It wasn't how our trip was supposed to go, but Sleep Inn & Suites staff made sure we were good to go and cozy while we were away from home.Has a good fitness center and a pretty standard pool, nothing fancy for pool. Just a rectangular indoor.Breakfast was good. Not huge but all the standards. Grab those mini omelets, those are amazing.

The room and ADA bath were clean. However, we had asked for a shower, not a tub shower, as my husband has balance issues. Unfortunately, it was a tub shower. Also, the location was at the intersection of two busy highways and right by a rail road track. The noise interrupted our sleep. Also, for some reason, we could not get to our YouTube account as the software kept asking us for our parental control pw. We don't have one. We were not permitted to advance, so we were stuck with the regular programming.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and had no complaints at all. They have complimentary breakfast in the morning and self serve tea and coffee all day, they also have a fitness center. Iowa community college is right across the street and there s a gas station within walking distance. I would recommend staying here the hotel was very clean, no complaints at all

Staff was very friendly. Pool was small but not cold. No hot tub in pool area.Rooms: The room was big. All the amenities. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was cold, especially the floor. Seemed like shower door was backwards, had to reach across stream to turn off & on. Shower head almost too high.Safety: Multiple cameras.Walkability: Long walk to almost all stores/restaurants nearby.Food & drinks: Continental breakfast was great.

We stayed at Sleep Inn for 2 nights and Amanda was so welcoming and sweet. She was very accommodating to any requests we had. You can tell she really enjoys her job, is very hardworking & goes out of her way for guests. She made our stay great & deserves a raise. Thank you!

Good sleep! The hotel was very clean and the room was fine. I did have to wipe the bathroom floor because it didn't seem to have been mopped. The room was fine and large enough and the hotel was comfy. The last at the front desk was very friendly and helpful..I would stay here again.

The beds have to be one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in throughout my life. Everything was clean, and I had no issues with housekeeping requests that I had. There is a more modern washer/dryer set that I really appreciated as a longer-term guest. Kayla at the front desk was extremely helpful and was a pleasure to work with. The time window for breakfast was on the longer end.For all the great at this hotel, there are a couple issues. There is a railway right next to the hotel, and you will definitely hear the trains as they go by. Breakfast has a decent selection overall, but there was an extremely limited protein selection - no scrambled eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage... only biscuits and gravy that had a hint of sourness and hardboiled eggs. There were breakfast sandwiches available if you asked, but I did not try them. I actually picked this hotel just because I saw a picture of hashbrowns in a review that didn't exist when I was there! I would have stayed here longer if the breakfast was better.

The hotel seems relatively new, check inn was quick and easy. I had a single king room. I've seen a couple reviews mentioning it could be cleaner, and my own experience was similar. The common areas, lobby, breakfast area etc were very clean. My room however was a little different. There was dust on the coffee maker and ice bucket and some black marks on the comforter on the top edge by the pillows. On the floor were a few random white balls about a quarter inch in size. Now for the good stuff, bed was comfy and the chair was decent for relaxing and watching tv and reading. Hvac unit was quiet and unobtrusive. Pillows were fine. The room and the entire hotel was free from odd smells as well. Now for the neutral. Breakfast had a decent assortment of yogurts juices etc. There are 2 waffle makers and also biscuits and gravy on offer. There are breakfast sandwiches available, you just need to ask for them at the front desk.

It's 5 degrees out and I work overnight so upon checking in at 2AM how delightful, my room was all of about 40 degrees. I'd expect this from a motel 6 or days inn which is why I am here not there but lesson learned I won't be back. Turned the heat full blast and it's blowing luke warm so hopefully in a couple hours the bed will be warm smh.

I was told that this is a very new hotel and as such they apparently have some bugs to work out. I arrived very late in the evening around 10:30pm for a two-night stay. When I arrived, they told me the computers were down. However, they were able to give me a room and indicated completing the check in the following morning. As this is a new building it was very nice and clean. They have a nice large lobby area including seating for the complimentary breakfast. The room itself was also very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room includes a small desk area which was convenient as I was there for a work training. My only issue with the room was the fact that the bathtub did not have a non-slip bottom and taking a shower was very precarious. They have a simple buffet-style breakfast. However, staff struggled to keep it well stocked. Several hotel guests including myself weighted at least 20 minutes for food to be restocked. I also had some issues getting hotel receipt. The receipt was originally printed incorrectly. There was also some confusion and my room was given to someone else on the second night. However, the staff was very apologetic and the mistake was quickly corrected. Overall it was a pleasant stay and hopefully these issues will be worked out as the staff become more experienced over the next few months.

The facilities were clean and maintained very well. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.Things to be aware of include: close to train tracks, little to no sound proofing of the rooms and pool area is average.

We had to change rooms 4 times. 1st room was wrong, we booked 2 queens and this room was a king. Moved all our stuff to the 2nd room and pulled back on the covers to find used q-tips and hairs in the sheets. Moved all our stuff to a 3rd room and the room was filthy, hadn t been vacuumed or wiped down and there was still food in the refrigerator. 4th room we checked before we we hauled all of our stuff in. Pulled back the covers to find a chunk of hair in the bed. Needless to say we didn t feel comfortable staying there. We canceled and went to another hotel. The desk person said all she does is assign rooms and was somewhat apologetic that all this was happening, but not willing to do anything except move us to another dirty room. When we asked for some housekeeping, she said that it wasn t available. Really?! We travel to the area at least once a year and we will not be staying at this hotel EVER!

Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Beds were super comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was legit (the biscuits and gravy were so good!) They also have popcorn in the evenings. We didn't get a chance to check out the pool or hot tub, but we saw lots of people frequenting it. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed overnight after dropping our son off at Iowa Central. The hotel is only 2 years old so things were relatively new. Beds and pillows were very comfortable making for a good night sleep. Staff was polite and professional. The hotel is directly across the street from the college, so it was convenient to go back the next morning and grab another hug before heading home. We anticipate staying on our next visit.

My room was clean and well appointed with fairly modern furniture. Linens were nice with a variety of pillows. The room had a fridge in a microwave and the TV was a reasonable size. There were multiple plug-ins for laptops and other electronics on the nightstand as well as near the desk avoiding to have to crawl under or behind furniture in order to plug in which was nice. The carpet in my room looked new w no obvious stains or problems. The bathroom vanity as well as the tile on the floor looked pretty new also. All the furniture looked like it was in good condition. The fitness Center had three pieces of cardio equipment as well as a bench and a rack of dumbbells. Internet speed seemed fine/usable.
