Bought a refurbished alternator from them for $550. Two months later, the "Check Charge System" came on again. They tested the alternator finding it was an issue with the volt regulator. Ten days later, the new alternator is giving out too. Now I'm trying to navigate their policies to get a refund. Doesn't matter that I have the receipt and have only had the part for less than two weeks.

Out of all the auto parts stores that I could possibly use, I usually use O Reillys due to the fact they have the parts I need on hand or their overnight shift. Unfortunately, yesterday when I was at the parts store, they did not have what I need now I have to go to a dealership to buy the parts and paid triple the money a little frustrated but I ll get over it.

Convenience is about its only asset. Plan on paying 2-3 times here than if you order online. All businesses need to make a profit but they are ridiculously over priced

We recently did some work on our van. Went to O'Reilly's to get everything we needed. What needed ordered in was very speedy! The manager was the one who helped me. He always delivers exceptional service, works with people on any issues, and very helpful when trying to figure out things about your vehicle or what you may need!

They said they had my part in stock. Got off work. Drove over & they didnt have it. Wasted my time & money. Again. This isn't the 1st time this has happened. Not impressed At All. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

Yoo, if you're in Fort Dodge and you aren't going to this O'Reilly's, you're messing up. I came in with dead batteries and instantly the man behind the counter was like, bring them in, I'll trickle charge them for you. Best decision I ever made! He spent half the day helping me design my off grid deep cycle battery installation, and every other problem I brought up! Whatever you're paying Shawn, it ain't enough! Such a nice guy, and everyone in that shop knows him as the go to guy! Never shopping anywhere else but O'Reilly's!!! 15/10

Shawn was great! Battery died, he checked to make sure my alternator was working properly and then personally installed my new battery. Thank you so much. Will definitely choose Oreilly again

Really my go to spot for local mechanical do it yourself type of business. I always go through them to get parts and maintenance items for my vehicles. When ordering items usually always free if sent to store and they will hold the items for you untill you arive.

Very well staffed with helpful and knowledgeable people. We had stopped at an Advanced Auto before we stopped here just to get a rear window wiper. The sign on the window did they replace them for you. The guy behind the counter told us he'd sell us one but not put it on because he's afraid he may break it.O'Reilly's had it sold and replaced in less than 5 minutes. It's the only auto parts store I'll go to when I'm in Fort Dodge.

If u get a good employee who knows what they're doing, things can go well. On our last visit, someones inexperience got us the wrong part and when we returned it they had pulled the exact same wrong part! Thankfully someone who knew how to get the correct part got it for us. I'm thankful my husband knows vehicles and I hate to think what someone who doesn't would go through before it was right. So glad we got the right guy the second time!!

Had a great experience. Had bought parts from them and after installed found price from another store to be substantial difference. They credited my card the difference. Thank you Orileys. That's good customer service

My "Go to" auto parts store. Extremely helpful staff, loan tools, quick turnaround if they don't have the parts. Fair prices. Rewards program bit of a joke, only works on retail unless your buying parts hard to redeem on oil or other common items which are already on sale.

The orielly's parts store has the worst customer service I have ever had. First I come into the store looking for help and get no help. They all were just standing there doing nothing. I then get helped and get checked out. I got some oil and a filter to change my oil and asked if they recycle oil and if they would take it after I changed my oil. The man said yes. I then go home change my oil and come back to have it recycled. But when I bring it back the man says I can't recycle your oil I have a customer appreciation cookout. I ask what does that have to do with me recycling used oil. He just kept saying I have an appreciation cookout back there and can't take your used oil. So I just left and went to advance auto parts where they asked me right away if I needed help and happily took my used oil without any problems. Will be going to advance auto in Ft Dodge Iowa now instead of O'Reilly 's in Fort Dodge IA. Better service there.

I paid full price for half a part. I live out of town so running to the store isn't always an option. Between the old and new parts we made it work. For full price. Not cool O'Reilly, check your parts!

Employees definitely seem to not know much about the parts they sell or attempt to sell. For being a parts store youd think the employees would know at least somethings especially basics since others rely on the employees word and pray you dont have to come back 3 times to finally get the correct part

I had just purchased a set of high quality headlight bulbs apparently my avalanche has one set for high beams and one for low. I needed low beams and was given the high beams. Upon trying to install (in the parking lot) opened the package and found out that they were not the right ones. Went back in to exchange for the proper ones and was told that since they were opened they were now my lights. I had to this end decided I should just replace both high and low at the same time anyway. Frustrated, I went to the rack to pull the correct ones while expressing my dissatisfaction that I could not simply swap them out was told by the employee "well I guess you should've checked before you opened them" (he was laughing at me while saying this). This did not help! I then put the $60.00 'low beams' back on the shelf and said I will gladly take my business elsewhere. To which the employee said 'ok whatever'. I went to advance up the road, still needing low beams and was given the correct ones the first time. Not only were the exact lamps cheaper they also had a $10.00 rebate :) Guess I no longer need to go to O O O O'rielys Auto Parts.

Do not trust them to get your parts right every other time I get parts they are wrong and I end up having to go backI waste time and money because my mechanic gets paid for his time regardless. Any good parts stores that can get it right at least 20% of the time instead of 50% I'm fed up with this place!!!!!!!!!!!
