Fort Dodge Regional Airport is one of the cleanest airports we have ever landed at. Very friendly people. Only downside was they only had 1 courtesy vehicle available. Downtown is like visiting a little Chicago but very few downtown shops which was sad to see. Quick Cab was inexpensive however their cabs didn't have one operating speedometer. Hmmmm...

The people who work here are always so friendly and helpful. It's a nice place for a layover. The first time I landed there, I thought we were landing in a cornfield, but then suddenly there's a runway. It's fun! As far as the facility and location of the airport, it's very clean, very small with no stores or restaurants. And I don't believe it's connected with public transportation and it's not within walking distance to anything. So pack a meal in your carry-on (yes, you can do that).

A huge thank you to those that run the airport in Fort Dodge!! The Wednesday before Thanksgiving the weather was rather rotten, as it can be this time of year in Iowa. I was certain my flight would be delayed at best and not be allowed in the air at worst.The staff at the airport were amazing!!!! They talked with the pilot of the plane, unable to land on the assigned runway and prepared a runway the plane could safely land on, thus, allowing us all to board and take off. The plane was delayed, but so were those in the major airports, so catching my connecting flight worked out, as did 99% of those with me.The amazing difference between the Fort Dodge Airport and the other larger airports I had connections in was communication. We were told what was happening. We did not have to watch a board and wait. A human being talked with us through the various stages of the events. It was wonderful!A big thank you!!!!

Very clean and updated facilities for such a small airport. Big city airport vibe no restaurant FYI, there are vending machines for soda and snacks!

It's pretty telling of an airport and the community it's in when the only way even a 3rd tier airline will offer any flights is with a massive federal subsidy, and the reality is, it serves a very small minority of the population

Very poorly run airport, with no cohesion between the airport and airline (Air Choice One).The airport sanded the wrong runway during ice season, causing the pilot to CIRCLE AROUND FOR AN HOUR while it got sanded. The pilot expressed his frustrations for the airport s carelessness. The delay could ve easily been avoided. This turned into a total 2 hour delay after refueling and deicing, resulting in a missed connecting flight at a bigger airport.Air Choice One customer service said we won t help you, it s the airport s fault. The airport said this was an act of God. What kind of professionalism is that? Where is the support from Air Choice One, due to the airport s negligence? Aren t airlines and airports supposed to work together, not assign blame?Very unprofessional, very poorly run. Driving the 2 hours to Des Moines is WELL worth it.

I love the convenience of flying out of Fort Dodge and all the options for my final destination via St. Louis, Minneapolis and Chicago. It helps with finding the cheapest and shortest flight and is super flexible having all these options. I have two more trips booked by the end of the year! I can't wait!

I flew in late on a weekday (Hertz was closed) The manager of the airport offered me a ride to the local hotel and picked me up in the morning.In the morning Hertz met my needs with a car (on the airport)Also there is a air taxi service to surrounding airports.Was very happy with the service I recievedA well managed operation.

Recently found an OZARK Air Lines, Inc ticket dated June 23, 1968...I was 9 yrs old and flew to Minneapolis, MN (MSP) from Fort Dodge, IA (FOD)...GATE 22 BLUE...Fare $8.50...Tax $00.43...Total $8.93...Flight #805...with REQUEST FOR AIRLINE CARRIAGE OF UNACCOMPANIED MINOR...IMAGINE THAT!!...Memory of this flight Conclusion back @ FOD...BAGGAGE Claim Check #008336 went to...ATLANTA, GEORGIA!!...didn't receive my RETURNED LUGGAGE in time for RED CROSS SWIM LESSONS for a week or 10 days...Forced to wear 1st cousin s 1 piece Swimsuit, with "Shoestrings Tying the shoulder straps together" for my Lil' Girl Body in an older gals ELONGATED DUDS!! HILLARIOUS!! NO DAISY DUKE DUD DAYS!!

First time flying United out of FOD! My flight was cheaper than driving down to Des Moines. Small airport makes it quick and easy with free parking. Will definitely fly out of here again!!!

It's like a big airport - check-in counter, security, waiting areas - but much much smaller. And that's not a bad thing! Easy to get in and out. Free parking. Clean waiting area and restrooms. Not sure there is any food available. Small staff but very friendly.

I utilized the FD Regional Airport on business trip out west. The convenience of leaving Fort Dodge and connecting in MSP was great. The savings on parking and a hotel room the night before more than makes up for the added expense. I highly recommend looking at FOD on your next flight.

Wow !!!! Flying out of Fort Dodge is AWESOME, no hassles, free parking, no driving for hours and the staff is super friendly. So if you ever get a chance give it a try, I'm sure you will have a positive experience like we have...

Waiting for a friend from desmoines to arrive don't see Noone. Called airport in fort dodge and Des Moines no help !

This airport provides everything I need, free parking, personalized service, a hassle-free check-in and security experience, and a beautiful plane to the destinations I want. I will definitely be returning!

Had flight all to myself. Everyone was friendly. I arrived an hour early and because I was the only passenger, we left a little earlier than scheduled.

Terrible customer service by Air Choice One. Frequent delays. No help when connecting flights are missed due to Air Choice One delays.
