Had a vehicle inspection which was a hassle finding some place to do in timely manner but Farrell's had no one waiting when I went. In-n-out in 20 mins!

Brought vehicle in for timing chain and crankshaft bearings, took several months to get vehicle back to the tune of 3500$. Engine seized up less than 300 miles after and was informed the bearings are not under warranty and repair of the engine would not be covered.

The owner and mechanic Ryan is very professional with the work he does and he has great timing with the maintenance for your vehicles his pricing is very reasonable too. I feel like I was blessed to find his shop when I moved here to fort dodge. And would refer anyone and everyone to his auto shop.. Thanks again Ryan Blessings to you sir

They always check with me with a very close estimate before beginning the work. Have never had to take a vehicke back because of an insufficient repair job. Would rate 10 stars if I could

The service and quality of the work was fabulous. Needed a new engine and Ryan provided the information to me that night, after hours, and delivered my beloved avalanche back to me two days earlier than was originally expected. Go nowhere else. Ryan is trustworthy and honest.

We drove down from Minnesota to go to the Gypsum city OHV park. We ended up having an engine part failure which let us know about no oil pressure. I sent a message a little later than normal in the Evening not expecting to get a reply. But I did ! we went through the motions to get the vehicle to the shop the next morning . Not without mentioning the fantastic Towing outfit in tow !!! Custom Towing!!! The truck made it there so they could look at it . we are anticipating a lot more severe issue. Thankfully they were able to get a replacement part and get it all fixed before the end of the day. And now we are able to go home when we re done 4 wheeling for the weekend. Great person too work with and very Professional.Service: Engine repair

Best prices in Iowa forsure! Pleasant family, he got me in when I showed up not knowing I had to schedule an appointment, and still changed my brakes for me! Very happy with the service and if I need anything done in the future I ll come here! Thank you!

Took my car into Farrells for them to tell me that there were some problems with it. They told me that the reservoir to my coolant thing was demolished, there was a leak in my radiator and a couple of other issues. They wanted to charge almost $600 to fix it. I couldn t afford it so I paid the charge that it cost to look at it. I took my car to the car lot where I got it from and had them take a look at it and come to find out the only thing wrong with it was air pockets so I had them fix it. Only costing me $25 to fix it! The car runs perfectly fine! Farrells is a rip off and every car I ve taken to them they ve made mistakes. I would not recommend them at all.

My first visit to Farrell automotive was amazing. I was taking my boat to get winterized and on the way the trailer came off the ball of my pick up and ended up on the ground. I called there and Ryan dropped everything and came right out to help. He got the trailer reattached to my pick up. He didn t know me, had never met me, and didn t even know if I d be a returning customer. He went above and beyond to help me out. I definitely will be a return customer and will be recommending him!

I will NEVER take my car back to them at all. It took them over a month to do my transmission. They don t keep you updated on anything. My car is messed up more after they put a transmission in it now other problems with it & they claim it isn t there fault but never had issues till they worked on my car. NEVER AGAIN DONT EVER RECOMMEND.

Wonderful experience. Had engine troubles on a long road trip and they took care of me right away. Very professional, honest, reasonable. Wish they were in Texas - they d have my business! Thanks for getting me back on the road

Went in and had a heater not working in the front of our 2011 G.M.C. Acadia they had it fixed quickly and done right. They were very reasonably priced.Very polite and a nice waiting room with nice vintage car memorabilia.

Last week I took van in to be repaired. The alternator was replaced. Thank you,Just before I took back the keys to leave, a different situation presented itself.You know what happened next?The men in the shop drove the van right in to learn the water pump had just failed.They didn't say we will get to it. They immediately investigated and all was repaired by the following morning.Thank you Farrell's Team for going the extra mile.

Car transmission went out. These guys diagnosed it quickly and were able to get me back on the road in about a week. Pricing was fair and came with a 12 month 12k mile warranty.

My wife had an appointment Unity point Hospital on Monday and my brakes locked up in Fort Dodge we are from Estherville Iowa Ryan helped us out on a spare of the moment my rotor and brake pads were welded only one side put new parts on there and we made it home safely five star service

They spaced my sparkplugs to 62 instead of the factory 42 and didn't even use the nice sparkplugs I bought before hand and gave them that I already spaced out for them. Ended up taking my car to another shop and they told me this shop put cheap autolight spark plugs in it. Thanks for keeping my sparkplugs I guess.

I was looking at a car in IA, called Farrell's. They were very helpful and willing to examine the car, gave me info on dealing with cars that have been driven on salted roads etc. As a guy in Louisiana, I would highly recommend them!

Had front bearing going out in the truck. Brought it over to have them look at it gave me quote and had it in that morning and finished same day. Very reasonable!!!
