Doest accept residents of Fort Dodge, No exceptions. They'll turn you down even if you're dressed nicely if you are a resident of Fort Dodge, Never heard of such a thing. It is Discriminatory to Deny a person a service because you don't like the residents here. If I could've gave a 0 I would. Sleep Inn across the street is your better choice

If diesel engines help you sleep: come check this place out. It's right next door to a soda distributor. You'll likely be woken up early in the morning if your room is in the back of the building. Very friendly staff and hot breakfast items, including a waffle maker and cereals. A couple hundred TV channels including commercial free movie channels.

Third time staying here and pool and hot tub are always closed. Checked in at 3pm told pool hours were till 11pm. Went down to pool at 3:30pm pool was closed and hot tub has been closed awhile. Would have been nice to know that pool and hot tub were closed at check in. Website should be updated! Yes there is a hot tub that is never working based on reviews. We will not be back. If looking for a pool and hot tub hotel in Fort Dodge IA. Look elsewhere.

This is a mainstay for us when in the Ft Dodge area. The pool is great for the kids, and the rooms are clean and nice. The gathering areas near the check-in counter are accommodating for large family breakfasts or to lounge together over tea. If you are going for the hot tub experience, be sure to ask if it's working.

Clean comfortable room. Bed was a little too "springy" compared to what I'm used to but it was comfortable enough. I love the crisp clean fresh white linens! Plenty of towels in the bathroom. I enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Breakfast was delicious, more than I expected for a continental breakfast. I would stay here again if in the area.

We had a great stay here. I wish that the bathrooms were cleaned just a tad bit better, but our only downfall was that the hot tub was out, but hey things happen. The staff was great to us, and got us anything we needed.Overall a great stay, and we would stay here again if back in town.

Cleaner than any hotel I've stayed at in the past 2yrs!Staff was extremely friendly & professional!!Breakfast was spot on with choices for every taste, and even decent coffee for a hotel.I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!!Rooms: Cleaner than even the Embassy Suites! Fantastic!Food & drinks: Bar inside is nice touch & breakfast was great!** MICROWAVE IN BREAKFAST AREA This may sound small, but it's HUGE! You can even make a breakfast sandwich, and in all my travels I've NEVER seen a microwave in the breakfast area. I only like to microwave my bagels, so I usually have to take them back to the room. THIS WAS THE BEST!!!

Room was great, family slept well. Breakfast was a stark contrast to our last AmericInn experience. Only fruit option was green apples. All tables were dirty. I kid you not, 5 employees at various locations around the lobby looked on while I wiped down 6 tables, 4 of which we did not sit at. A bit of an underwhelming experience.

Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful! Management needs to step up and fix long running issues that have been mentioned in reviews going a year back or more, such as the hot tub jets and temperature of hot tub, and door keys not working. Otherwise a decent place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and nicely appointed with quality white linens, a fridge, microwave, a desk, a wardrobe, 2 nightstands and an armchair. TV too, of course, but we didn't turn that on. Due to Covid, the included breakfast was mostly cold foods, but there was a DIY waffle iron and batter dispenser. Also, 24- hour coffee station with wide selection of options. We would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to anyone.

Hotel room was very clean. I got a king size suite. Bed and pillows were very nice and comfortable. Pool area is a bit basic but doable. Bar area looked nice but I did not order anything. Breakfast is good for a hotel. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fruit, and a waffle maker are all provided. I would stay here again if I was to be in the area. Hotel could improve in the pool area, kind of lacking of any excitement, and kind of dark in there even though it has a large picture window

Best customer service and hospitality. Clean hotel, tentative employees, and great breakfast! Our work crew has been staying here (we're from out of town) for several months, If there's any problem, their staff will take care of it! And I've seen them do it for a lot of people. Great place

The staff were friendly, easy check in process. We booked a suite, it was fairly clean but the TVs had issues, there were grease fingerprints throughout the room. Our biggest issue was that we came back in the evening for bed and our card reader door lock was broken. The staff could not fix it for quite a while and we were unable to use our room and had to float around for quite some time. We were told we d be comped for not being able to use the room but when we checked out were told they wouldn t because we booked on Travelocity.

Checked in Friday and was very insistent on what the charges would be to know if I needed to use a credit card versus debit card. Was given a specific amount and I even questioned about whether it was for both room and checking out on Sunday. Gal checking us in was very confident is saying what the final bill would be. Now they are saying it should've been more. NOT! Then the supposed Regional Manager states I am trying to defraud an innkeeper in Iowa. NOT! I do expect you to stand up to what your employee states!Couldn't swim because of out of control kids in the pool without supervision on Saturday. Kids running the halls until late at night and then on Sunday same kids infiltrated the breakfast area because they couldn't get in the pool and one ended up burning himself on the waffle iron. Sadly the also took the "pandemic" route and limited their breakfast choices. I believe it was because they had a full house and didn't want to deal restocking, but I could be wrong.I finally had to go up to the desk and demand parental supervision. RIDICULOUS that the only thing that happened was one of the employees helped them finish making their waffles. I finally had to ask them to stop cussing as we had little ones that are not allowed to talk like that.No bill under the door for check out and the lobby was crazy so we left. At check in she said we could just leave the card keys in the room (which we did) figuring that like every other stay I would get a copy of the bill in my email that I provided at check in.There are other options in Fort Dodge for staying - I would suggest to look there before staying here!!The three star rating is ONLY for the rooms! We had adjoining rooms so we could work in one and have kiddos in the other and that was super helpful!

Woke up this morning, thankful for another day my Lord. Appreciative of being able to stay in lovely places such as this one. Breakfast is such an important part of everyone's day. As well as a good night's rest, which you can find both right here. Clean, well kept rooms, great services, and kind & considerate employees. Impressive pool area. Family friendly, relaxing environment. Come for your first time or add another night to your frequent flyer miles. This is worth your stay.

I have stayed and continue to stay at many hotels, both for work and family. More recently, we had an emergency and had to stay in hotels for an extended period of time. After finding this hotel and trying it out, we won t go elsewhere. Hands down, this is where I would prefer to stay out of any place in Iowa. Main reasons can be summed up in two words, hospitality and service! The manager and people who work here are excellent. The rooms are big, clean and very nice. Everything is up to date, in good condition and works great. Great location and atmosphere too.

If you need a hotel in Fort Dodge, look no further and stay here. Debbie at the front desk is a real gem who went above and beyond to extend good customer service, and I hope management appreciates her. Thank you Debbie. The hotel was clean, quiet and breakfast was great. I d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Made reservations in February for a 2 room suite for a wedding in June. Traveled 12 hours for the event. When we got to the hotel they gave us the wrong room. When questioned they told us they did not know what happened but they could not give us the room we had reserved. They tried to give us a king size bed with a whirlpool tub in the middle of it. Told me they would not charge me more for the room. Let me think, 1/2 the room for the same price. We left and checked in to the Sleep Inn across the road. They were very nice and understanding of our situation.I would not recommend this hotel - I would give it less than 1 star if possible.

The rooms are very nice. Lives up to normal expectations. Lobby has coffee, assorted teas, and hot chocolate all the time. Free breakfast is great. Waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. My door is hard to get into. It gets stuck, but that's not the case with every room.

I left my dual wireless charger there. I called and they saved it for me for when I came through Fort Dodge again. I really appreciated it! However, when I was there I hot up around 530 and took a shower and it was cold. No hot water. I told the front desk and they said well, we are full so it will be cold. I would think at 530 am I should be able to get a hot shower!

This place looks nice, but its kind of dumpy. Nice pool area and glad they had biscuits and gravy for breakfast! Carpet in room was dirty and pulled up. Room itself was right next to a Pepsi truck parking lot and was very loud in morning when trucks were leaving.
