Fairfield Tire and Service provided outstanding customer (and car) care at a reasonable price. The mechanics and front office staff were knowledgeable and nice. Definitely a five star operation!

I scheduled an appointment at 8 for a rim exchange and tire alignment. I was called to come get my vehicle at 9, the process had not even begun. The employer stated hes tired of "fixing other peoples mess ups" and told me to go fix it myself and bring it back for alignment. As stated I asked for a rim exhange, they changed one rim, an incorrect bent one. I had to leave the premises with a bent rim due to the inconsiderate of this business. Fortunately, another shop in town was able to exhange all of my rims, align, and straighten steering wheel at no cost, with no derogatory or racist attitude.

Fairfield Tire was so accommodating! I had an emergency need for tires. They scheduled me for the next day, got me in and finished even earlier than they promised, and got me four great tires. I can't say enough good things about them.

A few years ago I bought my first vehicle . The previous owner took it here so I decided to as well. They told me what my problems were and what to fix in what was higher priority. I had work done here and I was satisfied with my service . I will continue to use Fairfield Tire for any auto needs

Love Fairfield tire for a couple of reasons 1 it is very close to where I live 2 there establishment is clean 3 there all very nice 4 when something is wrong with your vehicle they show you what's wrong and I appreciate that, nobody else does that that I know of. Very friendly. I have recommended Fairfield tire to people I know. I give them 5 stars for sure.

This is the only place in Fairfield that I recommend to all my friends to have their vehicles repaired. I have used them for many years, and they always deliver superior service at a fair price, with accurate estimates up front. Keith, Janis, Josh and the team are truly passionate about delivering superior service and going the extra mile. This place is awesome! While traveling through the area we had a radiator leak. Called and they found time to look at it on a Friday. Even though they couldn't fix it until Monday we are leaving the area with peace of mind. The customer service was inspiring and the price for the job was VERY reasonable!!!

Very helpful when we had a nail in the Jeeps tire, had a longer than we were wanting to wait to get it patched so they switched out the full size spare free of charge for us. Definitely good people here and they will get our business again!Service: TiresService: Tires

Valve cover replacement just by looking at it for a few minutes! Good, honest and friendly people with reasonable prices. I m glad I can call them my mechanic shop! And they got everything done in less than a day! Awesome people! Highly recommend this business

Review for General Auto Service Center:This review is easy, because Fairfield Tire and Service is just about the ideal service center for your car or truck.We lived in Fairfield Iowa for seven years and always had exceptional service for our family vehicles.We visit Fairfield regularly and I will never hesitate to bring my vehicle in for tires or service.Nobody likes going to the mechanic (let s face it, it can be expensive), but I enjoy my experience coming here.

This is a top notch service company. My vehicle broke a shock while pulling a trailer on the highway and I limped into town and found this place. Start to finish, Josh did everything he could to get me back on the road. We had to order some parts that needed to be shipped and the owners made sure my trailer and contents were safe. Everything worked out and they got me back on the road. Even though they are an hour away, next time I need tires or similar work, I will be going there.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Keith and the boys are great. They are fast, friendly and priced just right. They service your vehicle whenever you need it. If I'm going on a road trip, they will inspect my vehicle to make sure it is ready for the trip. Hometown boys, hometown business, hometown service. I truly appreciate these folks! I've been a customer for years, and as a person who doesn't know much about cars but who depends on them every day, I appreciate Fairfield Tire so much. I trust their honesty, service, and all-around knowledge about vehicles. It's such a relief having Keith and his whole team as "my guys" when something is wrong with my car or if I just need something simple like an oil change. I know I can go to them with anything. Great people Great service Great price. I was working out of town and had a flat on my 3500. They stayed over a few minutes to fix my tire on a Saturday. Went in there knowing i was fixing to to get price gouged because thats what everyone else is doing right now and was very happy with everything including a great price. This morning, I accidentally blew the fuse for the cigarette lighter to the car my daughter was driving all the way to AZ in today. I pulled out the manual and tried to figure out how to fix it, but I'm a bit illiterate when it comes to cars. The clock was ticking down and my daughter was ready to leave, so I started to feel a little panicked that I'd blown the one way she had to charge her phone on that long trip. I took it to the auto parts store in town, and although they did a courtesy glance at the fuse boxes, the man there said he didn't have time to help me and frankly, didn't seem to care at all. By the time I left that particular auto parts store I was crying out of frustration and worry. We'd had tires put on by Fairfield Tire and Service (and they had done an excellent job), so my husband suggested I take the car there to see if they had time to help me. It's only a block away from the auto parts store, so I drove right over. They were booked. Solid. When I walked in, the manager said his workers were swamped and that they'd not be able to fit me in. However, he must've seen my face because instead of sending me on my way, he called Carson over to help me. Carson stopped what he was already working on and came right out to help with a smile on his face. He cracked some jokes, pulled up schematics on his phone (the owners manual to the car wasn't helpful to him either) dug around a bit, and FOUND THE BLOWN FUSE! He fixed it, I paid for the fuse, and my daughter is now on her way to AZ with the ability to charge her phone on the road. I am so grateful to Fairfeld Tire and Service, to the manager, and to Carson for his professionalism and expertise. They are compassionate AND really good at what they do. They come highly recommended by me!

Most everyone there is great. One exception. Keith should not be dealing with the public. He is an aggressive, rude, nasty person who knows nothing about how to treat customers. He is going to get that business sued. I took my car in twice for a simple O2 sensor repair which didn't work. He lied about the part they installed. He refused to look it up to prove they used a genuine Toyota part and just claimed weeks after that they installed the right part. He pretty much told me to get lost when I returned to tell him the warning lights were still on. Don't deal with Keith. The others are ok, service oriented guys. Keith will stick it to you if he is having a bad day.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

Traveling through Fairfield, I notice the back tire air pressure was low. I had picked up a nail. I called Fairfield Tire & Service and they were able to get me right in and on my way in less than 30 minutes. Great service and friendly staff.

We had a weird noise in our brakes just before important trip to Des Moines. Keith made time for us early next morning despite his crammed schedule, and fixed what could have been a dangerous problem. Great service when really needed! These folks are trustworthy and reliable. I have my car serviced here regularly. I ve recommended Goodyear Tire to friends and family, and they ve been pleased with this business also. I m impressed with their diagnostic ability, which I m sure is always improving with their years of experience. Very kind and considerate staff. Very knowledgeable mechanics. Keith is truthful about what is wrong, and is honest about what HAS to be fixed immediately for safe driving, and what can wait for a bit. We don't live in Fairfield, but choose to drive 45 min. to come to them for all our vehicle repairs. Nice to find an honest mechanic in this day and age.

The prices are great and they will do everything they can to help get your vehicle fixed. Excellent business! Was in the area at 6pm had 2 blowouts on my trailer, they had their doors still open so i stopped by. They were more than glad to help me out...bought 4 tires at a great price and both mechanics jumped right on getting me back on the road..from start to finish i dont think i was there 30 minutes. Ill stop here again if i ever need anything.
