Great experience. Road tripping across the country when my Lexus SUV broke down. Engine was stalling out and couldn't figure out why. Got it towed to Elite and they started working on it the next day. They ended up finding the reason, fixing it and getting me back on the road in 2 days. Jeremy, Rich, Meagan, and the rest of the crew were fantastic. I'd recommend. Thank you Elite!

I have taken my son s Jeep in to fix the a/c it was a compressor problem paid several hundred dollars. A week later the a/c goes out again. We take it back they then say a valve needed replacing another couple hundred to fix. A/c has gone out again. At the same time I was getting my car a replacement transmission that had gone out. I got the transmission installed for over $3000 just to drive less than 100 miles and it go out again. They told me to fix the issue again it would be $1200 for the warrant repair. I have called several times to get the warranty info so I can deal with someone else. No one has called me back. The vehicle left my oldest son stranded in DesMoines. When I asked for them to tow it back they said it would be $550 to get it back. I called another shop and had it towed for $150. I will never use elite ever again. I have spoken to coworkers about this since I am not from Iowa. I have 3 coworkers that have brought vehicles to Elite to fix and every single one of them have had to bring their vehicle back to fix the original issue that brought them in there. They also had to repay for labor.

My ac in my Chevy quit working went to have them check it they check for leaks couldn t find any two days later no air took it back again they found out the AC compressor wasn t working why they couldn t figure that out. What it is in there the first time I have no idea so no big deal. I went and got an AC compressor. They said they wasn t going to charge me for labor on installing it, the end up charging me the labor and the Freon then when I asked why the bill was so high, they said they charge me for labor putting it in and the Freon, but not labor putting the Freon in other than that friendly people. I went here last year to have them chang my knock sensor, belt and fan. they ordered the wrong part and I had to pay more. It was over 600$ when I got my car back the ac wasn't working and I took it back and they told me my ac compressor wasn't working and it would be another 900$ I had a family member change it for me finally and come to find out the wire to the ac compressor was broken.

I am very pleased with my experience at Elite Auto Center!The problem was the battery or alternator...they checked the battery first and found that to be the culprit then they checked the alternator to make sure all was fine. I appreciate the honesty in looking into the smaller problem instead of bypassing it and going for the big job.We were seen that day, the staff was knowledgeable and kind.We had our car back with in 2-3 hours and the bill was slightly less than quoted. I will take my car to Elite again!

Quite possibly the best mechanics we have ever met. We had issues with our vehicle that no one else could figure out. Jeremy and Rick took the time to fix it and didn t charge us for things we didn t need. I greatly appreciate their time and effort. We live in Ottumwa but will definitely bring our vehicles to them again!

They've always seemed fair, honest, and thorough. Had some pretty major work done recently, and was delighted that they sent me before and after pictures of the parts they replaced. I also received a follow-up call yesterday to make sure everything was still going all right, which I really appreciated.

Called early in the morning and they got me in within an hour!! Normally I pay $80+ to get my oil changed in my 2015.... I saved $20 AND this price included a tire rotation!! Not to mention the staff was very friendly and kept me updated the whole time! Definitely my new auto spot in town!

We didn't have an appointment and a radiator was bad they put on new hoses and checked everything out. I would recommend these people too anybody that asked me good service fair prices friendly people.

A great professional place to get your vehicle serviced. I bought tires through them, while installing them they found a problem with the tire rod, they were able to get the part in the next day and installed. Very satisfied customer.

I love coming here for car issues. Jeremy is so helpful and I know he's not selling me things I don't really need. He always give me a run down of what's wrong and steps we can take to fix it.

I feel like they are good people but they charged me for diagnostics And didnt figure out the problems. Ended up charging me less when i asked them to but still wasnt a great experience.

I ask to get a brake line fixed and it took them two weeks and they didnt even get it done. The lady at the front desk was very rude .
