The BEST auto repair shop in Dubuque. We had our sons car their a few times and the work is done right and on time. The honesty and fair pricing are second to none.

Pro Care is my "go to" place for car repair! The owner, Shaun, has saved me a lot of money over the years by not charging me for work I don't need, and by making sure the repairs are done right. Example... I would buy tires at a "nameless" big name shop. They would insist on doing an "inspection" of my car. To my horror I was told I would "die, and my car would fall apart" if they didn't do these expensive repairs. I said no, I want "my" mechanic to look at it. Shaun would say they are wearing, but still are safe and have more time on them. He could have easily taken my money but he was honest, and would say "I'll let you know when, we'll keep an eye on them" I've been to a number of mechanics, but I trust Pro Care and won't go anywhere else! You can take that to the bank!... Literally! lol!

Shawn is amazing. Truly the best auto shop I have ever been to. Polite, quick, honest, and high quality work at very decent prices. Paid 30 bucks for a 15 min oil change. Cant recommend the place enough.

I was recommended to take my car here & I would like to say this is now my new car place that I will be taking my car to if you are looking for a honest mechanic I would ad6you to go here they are the best & what I thought was a big problem became a little problem with the great experts that are at this shop, I will be going to this auto shop for everything when it comes to my car, getting ready to schedule me a oil change then a tune up. Five stars for this company is not enough, also communication was excellent they kept in touch with me through the whole process... thank you guys!!!! See you soon.

I've been going to ProCare for around 10 years. I've always felt that my car was in good hands when I took it to them and I've always felt that their prices were fair. Best automotive shop - hands down. Shaun is knowledgeable, honest, and fairly priced. He does what needs to be done and doesn't try to add on unnecessary services. You can trust him to give you an honest opinion about the services your car needs and how urgent they are. He saved us thousands of dollars after another mechanic tried to pull a fast one on us and load us up on unnecessary repairs. Procare is so good that we actually drove 3.5 hours from Ankeny (7 hour round trip) to have our car serviced. If that isn't a testimate to the quality of his work, I don't know what is.

Recommend this place by my father after I got fed up with the big auto shops telling me 3 different things were wrong and that it would cost me an arm and a let. Went here and found out that they all lied. Plan to come back here from now on.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

I've been having an issue with my car for the past couple of months. I've taken it back to Pro-Care for trial and error. The staff has been wonderful assisting me. I always feel like family when I step into the door.

They replaced the part on my vehicle just fine but they used the wrong socket on my lug nuts and ruined 3 out of 5 on the only tire they worked on. Don't recommend.Update on the lug nuts. I ordered 3 new lug nuts to replace the ones that were ruined and found out the lugs had about 300 ft lbs of torque on them, holding the tire on. Car manual calls for 100 ft lbs of torque. It took a breaker bar, a cheater bar on the breaker bar and someone hitting the breaker bar with a hammer while I held pressure on the cheater bar to break the lugs loose to replace them. I doubt any lug nuts would have been replaced had I notified them about it as they didn't do any part of the job correctly.

The mechanic is great and came highly recommended by people I trust! He gets me in right away and doesn't over charge me. I've been really happy with all the service I've gotten there.

I called about every place in dubuque to see if they would look at my starter in my car and got turned away or they didnt have intrest in doing it. I called them and they told me to bring it right over and that they would take a look and there fixing it tomorrow. Im grateful to have found this place.
