I am a creature of habit and will return to a reliable place for resolution to a problem that has the reputation and the expertise of a good automotive shop. Don t let the word Fleet in the name deter you from checking out these guys. They do it it all from company fleet vehicles to your ma and pa old used cars. I had a knock and a couple of squeals CEO Stan and Team Dustin resolved the issue fantastic job! Thank you Dustin you do good work there are several shops but the boys on 63rd in Des Moines try hard and won t stop until it is fixed and you the customer are completely satisfied!Now it s time to return to one of the most reliable and honest repair shops. Why? Well while driving around I heard this rattling sound as I turned a corner. Having a high end vehicle you want to make sure there are no safety issues. Not knowing much about rods and shafts I relied on Dustin, the head mechanic on 63rd to diagnose the problem as I was to go on a road trip where I needed all car components working properly. Bingo! Dustin put his ear to the metal and soon figured that damaged axles were causing much of the noise I was hearing this is where Kitt sprung into action and fixed it. Now my Cadillac rides like a Cadillac should smooth as silk thanks to the top guns Dustin and Kitt!Recently I had to take my old suburban I call THE BEAST in due to leaks and a series of grinding noises. The reliable team of Shelton, Dustin and head CEO Stan were able to work me in for a week worth of work. I knew the cost would be $$ that would put my mind to rest with the end result being an old vehicle that has no leaks, no grinding and runs like the days of old - NEW. Thanks Team Dustin!

I came in here a few days ago cause my check engine light came on and I wanted to see what was wrong with my car. I can even put into words how amazing and helpful the staff were to me. They answered any and all questions that I had and even aired up my tire for me! Great service great staff will recommend to my friends and family and will most certainly be coming back for future service.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Pur my truck up on the lift so I could freely examine it on my own. And even assisted me with light and a compressor. They quoted me a price for some shock installation. And was fair. I had day off so I managed doing it myself. But would have been So much easier to have let them. The have the facilities. They didn't charge me at all for their time or anything.

I have my "regular" mechanic but when I just can't there (ie forgot and am overdue for oil change), this United Fleet is awesome. Always nice gentlemen working at the front desk and on my vehicle. Even answered a non-oil change question without trying to charge me anything!

Took a while but they were pretty polite and professional. Did a thorough inspection even tho my oil change was a coupon and I didn't pay pull price. I'll be going back for future services and would pay full price...very reasonable.

We've lived in Des Moines for many years but learned of UnitedFleet just a few years ago. We have found them to be honest, thorough and fair. A solid recommendation if your are considering them.

Took car in for maintenance, and possible brake work on Wed. Was told it would be Fri or Mon before it was done.Called me yesterday, Thurs, to tell me all the work was done and ready to go.Very pleased with service and staff is awesome!

A great local Des Moines business to get a fast reasonable oil change for your vehicle! They charge $25, get you in & out quickly, & do a great job! They also do fundraisers within the community as a way of giving back! I really recommend giving United Fleet a chance!

Horrible experience. Will not being going back to the 63rd street location. Called last week to make an appointment to get my engine steam cleaned and an oil change. When I called they told me the day was wide open and I could drop off anytime I wanted. I dropped my van off at 9am and asked how long they thought it would take. The guy at the desk couldn t give an exact time frame so he asked the GM Ken Roberts and Ken told me at least half a day. No worries I just needed to know if I should haul my kids car seats with me or not. By 3pm I hadn t got a call regarding my van so I called them and asked for an update on the van. I was put on hold for 4-5 mins and when they came back on the phone they told me they hadn t started on the van but should be starting on it soon. After SIX hours not only had nothing been done but there was no communication to me that it hadn t been started. I wasn t very friendly to the man on the phone and told him don t worry about it, don t touch it, I m coming to get it. When I got to the shop Mr Ken wasn t around so I asked to speak to him. He came out and acted like it was a big joke and said something along the lines of this isn t a drs office, it s a car shop. He made some excuses that heavy work loads came in and they couldn t make it around to my van. I asked why do you even take appointments if you cant make it around to them? No answer was really given. I have seen Ken in action on previous visits and have not been impressed with his interactions with his customers, employees or simply answering the phone. I am a woman and cars aren t my expertise, but I am fully aware how a business should run and this is far from it. If they would have communicated with me throughout the day or told me right from the beginning that today was going to be busy and they might not make it to my van, all would have been well and I would have rescheduled. Not the case. I will not be going back to this specific location.

Went in last week to figure out how much to repair rear shocks Derek there said they would half to look at it. So made appointment for today and went in this morning and they charged me a 70 dollar diagnostic fee. At no point In time did Derek ever tell me there was gonna be a fee. Its been 4 hours now and I still have not received an estimate. Don't think I will be going here again seems shady to me.

I always thought the dealerships were the scammers but this experience has myJaw dropped. The manger claims to be specialized with Toyota I brought my Prius in for inspection and 12V battery replacement. He claims he won t touch my Prius and that my transmission has a leak and I llNeed around 5k for all the fixes. Basically he would do nothing because it wasn t worth his time. Also he was so specialized he couldn t turn the car back on (battery needing changed )or take 5 seconds to googleHow to do so...they gave me an answer to my check engine light which I already had they didn t look further to see if it was actuallyConverter or O2 sensor and I already knew I had an older engine...Okay I have a Prius 2004 with 268,000 miles but kept extremely well. Yes things will need maintenance and replacing or fixing. I decided to go to Toyota. Transmission leak is not an issue. Battery swapped out no problem. Converter showing signs of needing replaced in near future but that s normal to keep an older car going. I can probably replace more parts in my driveway then taking it to United fleet. Not everyone has the time To do so and I expect prices to be high enough for companies to make a profit but I paid this company 120$ to tell me exactly what my check engine light code meant which autozone does for free.
