Drove 2 hours to look at a T350 van. Asked prior to leaving is there were any known issues. Was told there wasn't. When I arrived the battery was basically dead so needed to be charged. Then the engine light was on and before the test drive began. Engine rattled pretty bad like there was no oil in it. Also the radio and none of the electronics worked. When I got back to the shop was basically told "yeah it is what it is, that's why it's priced at what it's priced." It's like ok thanks. Could have let me know that when asked prior to driving 2 hours each way. Do not recommend.

I stopped in the middle of October to purchase a part. They said it might be a couple days as they were behind. Never heard back. Called 2 weeks later and the same thing. Stopped in a 2nd time. Said they call when ready. Never heard again. Called and they had no record of me even though they confirmed me in the system the 2nd stop. So I placed an online inquiry of that same part. Never heard anything. It's now the end of December and not a word. Contacted them 5 times and not 1 return call. I even offered to pay for the part upfront. Not sure why they don't want my money?

Walked around what they call a show room for 20 mins never did find anyone to ask about test driving anything we wanted to or about one on their site we couldn t find. Will not return waste of time

Don't call them to order a part if you value your time. I ordered a part and I never got a call back. I checked in three times over the course of as many months and couldn't get a clear answer on what was going on. I do have to give them points though - Sam's has found creative new ways to avoid taking my money.I never write reviews but this experience has frustrated me to the point of doing so. If anyone from Sam's is reading this, just know there is basically nothing you could do at this point to convince me that working with you is worth my time or money.

Wonderful people. Held an engine for us for 2 weeks. Awesome customer service! Joking around with us. Also two lovely furry assistants that are attention seekers are such good pups! Thanks guys! Your doing awesome job

Communication is key when it comes to business.. I have spent several weeks going back and forth with them via email. They hardly communicate. I emailed I would be coming to look at a vehicle and expressed wanting to trade in... I showed up the vehicle I was interested in wasnt on site and was out for repairs which should have been communicated when I expressed interest. So we started looking at other vehicle brooks went out and said he would be back with a trade in value.. instead went and helped other customers... assuming it's because they had cash out... never again will I waste timewith this place... we were being helped first and he could have communicated if he wasn't interested. The business with the representative was made with an engine and transmission of a Chrysler Pacifica 2020 car that had 10k miles.But I got an engine and transmission with a vin number that the car was 2017 and until April 2022 it indicated 67k miles.Prior to this purchase I had better offers on the engine and transmission but Steve the representative charged me in two parts $3250 $550 and the total was $3800. For an engine and transmission that was changed year and mileage and in the receipt I received $3250 for the 2017 parts.They are not professional at all because they changed the parts and charged me for something that was not agreed at first.I sent Steve some messages because you charged me for something that we never agreed to and you charged me $550 more and he never responded, Everything is wrong with this purchase They changed engine and transmission in the shipment that is not professional.I do not refuse to pay but it is not professional to play with the client in this way.

Called about an engine for sale, they told me 4 days to pull it and I could come get it. They told me ahead of time that card payments are 3% extra, so I could plan ahead and bring cash. They had my engine strapped on a palet and ready to go when I got there and loaded it for me. Installed the engine that night and it runs very well. Best price around.

I would not recommend. I placed offer on vehicle and a return call was never given. It s like the don t really want my business. When I called back the other individual who answered sarcastically told me he was to busy to return calls. We then agreed on a price and he sarcastically told me he needed 2k to hold the vehicle one week non-refundable. I was going to pay cash for vehicle but the customer service is down right atrocious. Run the other way as fast as you can. I ll take my cash to another place and even pay more to do so. Bad business and customer service should not be rewarded!

Junk yard place, they got parts though you might need to go fish it out and or wait on the phone for a while. Decent place, NOT a wow place! For mechanics really and not ritzy in a hurry average car part consumer.

Bought a car from these guys about 3 months ago and wanted to wait to leave a review until I had a chance to put some miles on it.It has turned out to be a really good car! I had an issue with a light on the second day but these guys took care of it without blinking an eye and did it quickly. I will definitely be back. The price was pretty freaking awesome too :)

Shipped without opening pan and inspecting. Argued over $130 (shipping), when the part cost was 20 times the amount. Didn't budge or try and help.

I tried to work with Ted, website says parts are available, they weren t. Even made a ton of calls to Ted, no response. Then worked with Nick, I think, who said that he would make things right. That was about a week ago. I went to another yard to get parts. Wasted trip to get parts that aren t there.

Have called the parts department many, many times to no success. They like to really let the phone ring out as long as possible probably hoping you just end the call before even reaching anybody. Have waited 2 weeks for easy parts to be pulled and they ve pushed back dates on me multiple times. Unfriendly, unwelcoming, and unfortunate to have staff that act in this manner when people are literally just trying to give you money for something they need. Try shopping local to support out marketplace but then places like these make that unnecessarily difficult.

Post pictures of parts they don't have in stock. Told me they would hold a part I found online. When I drove 5 hours to pick up the part they still had my name in the computer as holding the part. The awesome thing was they didn't even have the part there in the first place, never bothered to check inventory before I drove 5 hours to get the part. And after all that had not even a hint of feeling like what they had done was messed up. No consideration for others is the nicest way I can describe these folks.

Great place to buy used parts and rebuildable cars. We have been doing business with them for over 40 years. All of our cars and trucks have been purchased from them and we have never had a problem. Friendly, knowledgeable counter help. If they don't have the part you need they will locate it for you. The hard-working owner Gary and his sons are almost always there and are very involved in the business.

Horrible customer service, called & paid for rear bumper cover over the phone they gladly took the money and charged 3% extra to use a card then proceeded to say we need two to three days to retrieve the part I figured that was their average they told everybody that well it's been 3 days they've hung up on me twice they've transferred me three or four times to the same guy that never answers and I leave a message and never calls back now I call and they just put me on hold and it never ends nobody ever answers !! again it literally took me 15 minutes to remove the bumper cover I need replaced off of the truck, 15 minutes and I've been waiting 3 days. I'll never use them again for anything!

These guys provide prompt and great service with a friendly attitude. I had my windshield replaced and had a common issue occur with the windshield. After stopping back in they agreed to take care of it no questions asked. They earned my business and referrals for years to come. Thanks Tom!

terrible customer service!!! been waiting for months for them to pick up a transmission core and get our core charge back. now they screen my calls and just dont care. lost a good customer

I talked to a salesman/manager Brooks i believe , was interested in a car that i came across. I m 5 hours away and i asked about the car because i read the carfax report , 2 accidents on the car and some issues with the title ( Salvage ) but it seemed like he didn t want to hear it so he hung up on me and now they lost a customer. I would give this place a 0 star. MAKE SURE YOU READ CARFAX REPORT OR ASK FOR IT BEFORE PURCHASING A CAR

We were interested in a vehicle that we had test driven. The Vehicle was able to be financed so we told them that if we did not finance the entire amount, we would be able to make a down payment on it with no doubt. My husband provided his income information over the phone, the next day Billy took down my information and I was told I would get a call that same day. Two days went by so I called and I was told that they would still needed to talk to the finance department and he promised a call back by early Friday morning. I have yet to hear back from them. I never received anything in writing regarding my loan request. Who knows what they did with all the personal information they took "to provide to the finance department".

Went with my brother and bought a truck there and it had a cracked frame. Front coil springs were broken as well. Look over your vehicles carefully before buying.

Sam's Riverside is great if you're looking to save money on car parts.Their online parts inventory is up to date and they have a substantial amount of parts.It was easy to place a phone order, and they had the part ready when they said they would. The office staff was helpful too.Pricing is very fair. I found it to be cheaper than used parts on Ebay.

Can you give a zero? Zero integrity. Zero help. Will never even visit their website again. Went to buy a car on a Saturday only to find out it had been sent out for repair (website did not say this) but was told they would call when it was back. Emailed daily for updates saying we wanted to buy the car. Finally one day they say it came back the day before and sold that same day. Did I get a call? No. An apology? No. If they smell money they will hop on it with no regard for what they told someone else.
