Clearly unwelcome by sole employee, he said he did not have the tool to help with needing a battery in my key fob. Best to go to O'Rielly across the street, they have the tool (screwdriver) and were very happy to help me out.NAPA must be more just for getting parts to shops, not for retail customers.

Did as much homework as I could on line decided to go to Napa on 63rd in person. When I walked in the gentleman that came from the back never acknowledged me so I walked around, giving him the benefit of finishing something assuming that was why he did not acknowledge me. What little acknowledgment I did get what can I do for you . I mentioned that I wanted to see if they had some things in stock. He looked at me and then looked around the store! Like yep we do! Did not bother to ask what vehicle or how he could help! Mind you according to the website I already knew what should be in the store. Knowing this is not always accurate is why I drove 30min to the store to verify! Napa not only lost about a $200 plus sale today but I will never walk in that store again! I own a 97 pick up, 70 c10 pickup , 64 Nova, 49 5window Chevy, and 06 Malibu, my point here is these are older vehicles that do and will need work and Napa on 63rd(if any Napa) will not get a dime of my money!What happened to customer service, it s no wonder people shop on line. I know I will order everything I was looking for on line now and not from Napa! (Water pump (will get chrome now), radiator hoses upper and lower, thermostat, thermostat housing, antifreeze, all gasket needed.).It s a shame that a hello how can I help is not trained to people any more. I want to apologize for putting him out and expecting him to do the job that he has!

Went to a competitor for a belt and they were not knowledgeable. They pulled the belt I needed right away and had the unusual size in stock.

Just a nice friendly culture that has everything you would need for your auto. Great prices and easy shopping. Definitely better than most places, well a better experience than you'll find anywhere ...Thank you.

Placed an online order. No answer on the phone. Went to store during hours posted open on the door and it was closed. No sign on the door or anything. Never opened all day, had to search other places for parts. Called the next day to cancel order. They said they were short on help so they didn t open all day. Wasted a lot of my time. Put in request online and haven t heard back in days. Skip this NAPA location.

Bought brakes for my car. Needed a jack, dude sold me on a jack that was on sale l, came with jack, two stands, gloves, roller chair and the 4 way tire iron. Also had a deal.going where I bought a bag that says NAPA on it and had a hat and a couple beer coozies for like $2 and then that took 20 or 25% off my total. Worth it. Staff was very helpful and polite and the store was very clean.

Desmond was absolutely great. He popped my battery out to check it before having me buy a new one. He explained how the engine pulls power from the battery and what was causing it to need to be jumped was most likely a bad drain and the battery was getting old and replacement was the best option. He took the time to explain it to me and answer my questions not just sell me the most expensive battery possible. We need more honest people like Desmond. I'll be coming back here instead of going to Autozone across the street. Thank you for having Desmond on your team he is an asset to your store.

Great place to get parts that you are missing or need to replace. If they dont have it at the store they can have it there really quick. The staff is always there to help and ask questions if needed. The shelves are stocked well and everything is in place. Usually have a good sale on things if you are just looking around. I stop here to get my oil and filters as needed and they usually have a good stock of items to chose from.

The manager there is very arrogant and talks to you like you don't know what you're talking about. And I had them order me in something from the warehouse they said it was going to be there a certain time and so I went back there wasn't there they told me to be back in about an hour and a half called about two hours later and it still wasn't there end up having to go to the competitors

Went to 63rd street location in west Des Moines, and there s a reason why I keep going back to this store. It s because of the wonderful customer service I receive!! Reka, one of the store personnel, gave me great service and help in finding the parts I needed. Because of his professionalism, I will keep going to the store in the future!! Thanks Reka!!

Went in for parts for 2002 ford ranger 4x4 specifically left rear leaf spring shackle and mount . The person behind the counter told me the shackle mount was not available anywhere. I told them thank you and left. I went to oreillys across the street and got the parts right then.

Went to AutoZone and they sent me here. Sure glad they did, because Desmond took care of my battery in 10 minutes and now I'm back on the road. Thanks Napa!!

When walking into the store with a Balkamp part number in my hand, Matthew (behind the counter ) snapped his fingers at me motioning me to give him the paper I was holding. The phone then rang and I sat there for 13 minuets while he talked personal items on the phone. I then grabbed my paper back which was sitting next to him and walked out. Matthew said see ya bro . Never again will I purchase items for my shop or my self from this Nampa.

Asked for an check engine light scan, was told it couldn t be performed because the employee couldn t find the scanner.
