This is the only place I will take my vehicle. I moved from California wasn t sure if I could find an honest mechanic. His shop is close to my house so I thought I would try them, so far he has worked on 3 of my vehicles and has only done the work that needed to be done not trying to up sell me on anything gives me options and recommendations and let s me decide. I've been the area for a while and I've missed that I had trustworthy mechanic. I can now say I have filled that void. From the start to the end, Bruce and his team took care of us and made sure we were comfortable with everything he explained, recommended, and what the next steps should be. I will be going back for all vehicle needs and recommend them to anyone looking for a honest and trustworthy mechanic who genuinely seems to have your best interest in mind.Thanks Logan Automotive!

The steering wheel and undercarriage on my Subaru Forester were vibrating and shaking when I drove it on the freeway. I usually take my car to Ramsey Subaru but they couldn't get me in for two weeks. I felt unsafe driving my car so I checked around for a repair shop close to where I work on the east side of town. I was so glad that Logan Automotive was able to get me in two days later.Even before I called to make an appointment, they impressed me with how fast they replied to my message when I inquired about whether they gave shuttle rides to and from my work. I didn't have to wait long before they replied back that they did have a shuttle service if I lived or worked in Des Moines.I dropped off my car in the morning and they gave me a loaner car to drive to work because the owner's daughter wasn't there yet to give me a ride. I was really surprised that they did that for a small shop like theirs. Bruce called me not too long after I dropped my car off and told me what the problem was and how much it would cost. I'm sure it would have cost much more if I had brought it to Ramsey. He fixed my car early in the afternoon and told me it was ready to pick up.When I went to pick up my car, Bruce showed me the broken and rusty part that he replaced. I was impressed by that. He was completely honest and transparent about everything; not to mention super friendly and nice. He also rotated my tires and didn't charge me for it.I asked him about which cars are the best to buy (because I'm so done with my Subaru and this will be my last one) and he said he couldn't tell me that because each brand has good and bad models. He told me if I'm ever looking at cars, I could call him and tell him the year and model and he would tell me if it's worth buying or passing on it. I really liked and appreciated that.I'm so glad I found a repair place close to work that does a great job and doesn't charge dealership prices. It's small and family-owned and they don't treat you like a number. I highly recommend them.

We ve been using Logan automotive for all of our vehicle maintenance and repairs for years and have never been disappointed. Bruce and his staff accurately diagnose the issues (if unknown when we drop off the vehicle), quickly perform the repairs and service, and keep us informed all along the way so there are no surprises! The one thing that puts Logan Automotive on top is they are the most trustworthy mechanic s that I have found.And yes they find other things wrong sometimes that isn t what I took it in forBut that s they re job. I believe they have there customers best interest at heart.They re quality of work is second to none.Just a great family owned business.I have sent friends and other family members there.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Highly recommend for all car needs. My father used Logan automotive for years b4 his passing. Recently I have too they Did such a great job on my car I took my daughters car& had them fix her heating problem . Dropped off my truck late Sunday night and they called Monday afternoon that it was finished. They recommended changing air filter too so I asked them to take care of it. They took my payment over the phone and picked up the truck late that evening. I have used Logan Automotive for over four years. Always great service and they never suggest unnecessary repairs or maintenance. Bruce is a very honest owner/mechanic/person.Service: Oil change

Bruce was able to find the trouble with no heat in my car for the last month. Change thermostat plus heating coil and some extensive research to find why the heat wasn't going to both sides of the car. I have 3 different vehicles, 2014 Cadillac, 2001 Chevy Silverado 4x4, and a Toyota Tacoma 2001, each have had everything from oil and tires changed to all the suspension work on my Cadillac, breaking system on the Toyota, and an ever ongoing challenge of keeping my very high mileage work truck on the road.I'm always greeted by the friendly people who work/ own and run the shop. As for the price that I've paid for the work I've had done, they've done way better than others I've checked into. I'd trust them with anything I take to them. I recently used Logan Automotive when I had a terrible engine noise. Bruce found that it was an exhaust issue and was able to take care of it for a very fair price. I have a lot of trust in Bruce Logan and his business. Highly recommend!

Got a multi-point inspection here before going on a long trip. They took care of it very quickly. There were a few things that needed to be done before the trip as well as a few general tune-up recommendations due to the vehicle's mileage. There was no pressure to get these services, but they were presented anyway. I'll definitely be coming back here for future services.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Upon a routine oil change, Bruce and his crew found that my cabin filter had never been changed in my 19-year-old car. He showed me the dirty filter and let me know that it had been overlooked by previous service places. My whole family has been using Logan Automotive for several years, they are alway polite friendly, and they go out of their way to explain any issues. They have always treated us like family from the first time we went there, and always going the extra steps to ensure things are done correctly. Since we started going there, that is the only place we take our vehicles to any work done. A definite first class shop with great people!!! I recommend them to all my friends.

Bruce has work on several of my cars over the years. He is knowledgeable about a wide range of cars, SUVs and trucks. Bruce does a great job in explaining what needs to be done and charges a fair price for his work. I highly recommend Logan Automotive.

Bruce is always concerned on the right part. Everytime I go to his place I can count on getting the job done right the first time. Hes worked on my Ram1500 and Dodge Charger and always given me a loaner without asking. I've been taking my cars it him since I got back from Texas so its been 5 years no complaints here highly recommend him

Good place to take you vehicle worked on a family owned business that treats you like family and the work they do on your vehicle like it is there own ! They call you when they find something else wrong or they have questions for you to answer for exstra work that needs to be done and give you a print out of what should be fixed next on your vehicle when it is showing some needed service down the road!Services: Electrical, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I will never go back there again I talked two other shop mechanics that would have done it for almost half the price of what was charged yeah they got me in and out quick that's about the only thing that I can say but the price was absolutely ridiculous
