Took my '52 Ford in for a transmission leak. They promised to keep her indoors at night, and called me the next day saying they had tested the transmission and installed new gaskets. Price was reasonable, and employees were courteous and very knowledgeable.

Very respectful, honest people. Went in for a leak, which originally was diagnosed as a bad gasket. They found it was more and were able to fix it all that same day! Paid exactly what I was quoted. Drive home and my truck feels brand new! If I could give more stars, I would!

These guys are wonderful!!! After checking around they had hands down the best price so thought I'd give them a shot and they did not disappoint. Had my van towed in to have the transmission rebuilt on Wednesday afternoon by Friday afternoon they were calling me to say she was ready. She drives great and I'm so happy. They were all very pleasant from the first person I talked to to the last. I'd recommend them to anybody!

Had them do a general rebuild due to 3rd gear issues. Ended up doing a few other things as well that were needed. Needless to say my trucks in worse shape then when I took it there. Things unplugged, 4wd no longer works, all kinds of vibration and noise. Refuse to return my calls, emails, trucks been there 3 times since and there has been no solution nor a attempt to fix things.Horrible experience, with both the craftsmanship and customer service.Service: Transmission

Heard good things about them, was even recommended by another shop. Fixed my sons car, pretty quick and the cost was more than reasonable. We'll be recommending them as well.

James and his team are wonderful to work with! So much cheaper and easier when you keep up on maintenance then have to have it rebuilt or replaced but even then James was great to work with and answered all our questions. Plus he likes to talk food so we always have something to talk about!

My transmission decided to die on me. They did an amazing job and got it fixed pretty quickly. I will say I recommend they get someone to help at the front desk, as they don't answer often. Otherwise still a great company to go through.

Knudson builds the best transmissions, absolutely nobody better!! I've had my C6 rebuilt 3 times. Knudson built it for me the 3rd time after his competitors rebuilt it the 1st and 2nd time, simply no comparison! Competitors rebuilds didn't even last 2 years of my abuse. After Knudson rebuilt it, 9 years later it's still taking everything I can throw at it with no issues!! I'll never go anywhere for transmission service!

Over approx 15 years they have done several transmission maintenance and repairs for me and recently the 3rd complete transmission rebuild. I have always been extremely happy with there top quality service and will continue to trust them with all of my future service needs.

Knudson Transmission was a great experience. James was always polite ,helpful, and explained everything about what was going on with my car pertaining to the Transmission. The Sensor was the initial thought to be the problem. As it turned out the Sensor was not the problem so he sent the car to Scott's Automotive (across the street) for a diagnostic and quick repair to some wiring problem!! Scott the Owner and President was kind enough to call me and let me know what the issue was and give me an estimated time of completion. As it turned out, Scott called me earlier than expected with a Completed car repair (he stated a few other people hadn't shown up for their repairs so my car got completed before the designated time). I was greatly surprised by how fast the car was repaired and by the cost of the repairs (cost was cheaper than expected and they gave me a Senior Discount,as well as a New Blue Key Ring).I will definitely be using Scott's Automotive again and will definitely be Recommending them for good honest service.

Absolutely fantastic and honest service from Knudson. We had an issue with our minivan that they were able to diagnose (turned out to not even be the transmission) and get me on the right path to getting it fixed. Needed help with a performance transmission that I had purchased from another shop online, and these guys were great to work with. Quality work at a fair price. I grew up in small town Iowa, and Knudson Transmission made me feel like I was working with a small business back home.

When I arrived, they didn't have my appointment on their schedule, despite my scheduling it and taking a whole afternoon off for it since they're only open during regular business hours. However, once I explained the situation and that I was planning to leave and come back (so they weren't under a really tight time frame), they offered to take me where I was going since I was just planning to Uber and it was relatively close. Not only did they offer to drop me off, they came and picked me up when they were done working on my car. He even took my cart back up to the store after I finished loading my things into my car. Overall, I had an excellent experience at Knudson and felt they went above and beyond for me.

This business is professional and stands by their work! I brought my 2014 Town and Country with 126,500 miles on it. The transmission was slipping so they test drove it on the coldest day in my life time. They did not experience the slipping I had, but they took it apart and found an excessive amount of metal in the pan. After my husband and I both talked to them, they got started and had it done in about 24 hours. I picked it up and they had driven it for 30-35 miles. There was something not quite right when I got it out. It turned out two sensors were bad. I had to bring it back a second time. They were able to correct it, and ensured it was correct by driving it to another little town and back. I live about 45 miles from their shop so this put my mind at ease. When I brought it back the second time, I asked if they could do an oil change so it would save me a trip to another shop. They offered it to me for free for the inconvenience of having to bring it back. They found that the cap had been repeatedly tightened too hard with other oil changes at different places, and it broke. They broke it, so they fixed it. They did not call to see if I wanted them to fix this piece and give me an estimate. They ate the cost! Wow! You do not see customer service like this at a repair shop. Yes, I had to bring my van back because Town and Countrys have wonky sensors, but they did not give me anything but good customer service and good quality work. I would recommend this transmission shop to ANYONE!

Fast friendly, professional service, and good warranty. Called Friday, picked up Monday no extra cost, and reman transmission was done Tuesday afternoon. I d recommend this operation.

Best in US! Family owned and operated for multi generations. Southside staple for transmission service. More than friendly and knowledgeable. There service is above and beyond what they have to do. My transmission was done with them being busy in barely 2 day turn around. Had some more questions and they are delving back into it to solve the problem past what Chevy says is tolerable. Hats off to you! Thanks for being a trusted business in a day full of money thieves.

For some reason they cut my detent cable probably figured to replace it but didnt have one for a 1968 th350. Now im stuck trying to find one. Also had end for a edelbrock carb which was cut off also. Now its gonna cost me more to replace. Thats if i can find one. Dont recommed them for the classic stuffService: TransmissionService: Transmission

Set up an appointment but Manager would not give me price it would cost for a transmission flush after I asked several times on 3 separate phone calls to their business.Cancelled my appointment went to my dealership.

Great place great people definitely my go to for transmission work even did a great job on my axle when I thought it was my transmission the whole time saved me alot of money by just being honest.
