Car battery went out in sub-zero temps, they were quick to respond and extremely fast to purchase a battery and deliver/install. Dependable and quick. Very thankful they were willing to work in the dark and cold.

I forgot to review earlier. This was truly an incredible experience. I was away from home, and from the very first phone call they made me feel at ease.Extremely caring, knowledgeable, kind, made no complaint even tho it was a Sunday.They took time to explain what was happening and also was honest about what I'd need next. Prices are more than reasonable.This is the team you keep in your back pocket as your secret weapon. I got home safe with a vehicle that's gonna keep going for a long time thanks to this service.If y'all are reading this: you truly saved my life, and I can't thank y'all enough.

They came out, didn't try hooking up a battery to get somewhat of a charge on it. lied to my face saying security light came on and it was a security issue with the key and there was a chip in it that wasn't reading. shaunlock came out and said no light came on, hooked up a battery and it was sounding like turning over (which happened before joe's mobile mechanic came out) and he said (same as what other people have said) that it is either battery, fuel pump, or alternator. not security issue. scammers. the point of a diagnostic is to figure out what's wrong, not go based off what someone says.

Wouldn t recommend this company. The owner doesn t talk over the phone, weird. Only text. I had him check out a vehicle of mine, said he could fix it if it was towed to his place, spent $600 getting it there. Ended up not being able to fix it and tried to charge me for work he did not perform($400). Also lied throughout the process along with saying the vehicle was not drivable thus he tried to hide my vehicle around the corner from me, aka it was drivable.In this world if you do the work you get paid. Don t try scamming people. Had to once again get it towed out of there to my maintenance provider. All around shady experience. I deal with maintenance all the time and this was by far out of the normal. I wouldn t recommend anyone to use them because I wouldn t trust what they say.

My van started making a loud grinding noise and I was still 200+ miles from home. All other mechanics were closed but thankfully they were able to drive out to help me. They figured out the problem very quickly and were able to replace the parts I needed. He explained everything and gave advice for future repairs. I was back on the road within a couple hours and able to get home for a family emergency. Knowledgeable and communicative. I am so grateful!Service: Brakes

If I could give them half a star I wouldn't even give them that. Came out to diagnose my car and not even 7 min went by and they told me it was my timing belt which was completely wrong. Turned out to be my fuel pumpI ended up getting my car fixed by someone else. Oh and the communication was terrible. Had to message them 2-3 times to get a response back. I figured Mechanic would pull up in some sort of truck with tools or a van type thing....not a regular mini car. Everything about my experience was so unprofessional. Had me wondering if this was even a legit mechanic. My mom who knows nothing about cars should've received the 80 dollars instead. Alex and his gf/wife came to help us after my car broke down in Des Moines. They were polite, quick, and efficient replacing my alternator. For them to come help late in the afternoon on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, I can t thank them enough. They allowed me to make in home to Minnesota in great time. I m sure this business is just one person and I ve seen reviews that he does great work. However, my experience was not great. I called one day pretty late and he said he couldn t come out that night but could come by the next day around 4. Great. I get home around 3 and tell him if he can come early that s great. I tried calling but no answer. Around 5 I tried texting again, and I told him I just need an answer in case I needed to get a tow truck to go to an auto shop, and he said he was wrapping up a job and should be able to come over. Well it s 9 now and I haven t received any other word from him. Not even a return call or text from my calls. I also won t bother getting a tow truck now because all shops are closed. I tried calling but no answer and no response. I understand not being able to be everywhere or answer every phone call, and I m sure he s a great mechanic. However, the communication was horrible and I could ve been able to go with a different option had he been more honest with me.

Joe really helped me and my girlfriend in a bind. We had bought a T1N sprinter from NY state and were on the way back home to CA. Our alternator belt tensor fell out and we were stranded. Joe responded to us on line within minutes and we were able to schedule an appt on Sunday. Joe was very accommodating and was able to teach me more about my vehicle while resolving our issue. He was very upfront with the cost of repair and even pointed out a leak and helped repair it no extra cost! His repairs allowed us to get safely back to California.

My wife Tiffany and I were traveling from Michigan to New Mexico when our RV started losing power as we got to Des Moines. We had to stop as we couldn't go any further safety. We called Joe's Mobile Mechanics and they worked their butts off finding and fixing our issue right there in the Wal-Mart parking lot. We can't recommend Joe and Alex enough to anyone that is in need of a honest, dedicated and hard workering team when you have car issues. Thanks again guys.Service: Electrical

I actually called Joe after breaking down on i80 with a terrible front end noise. He was on a job but helped me fix myself via text. That's class and would have him work on any car.

10/10 Would recommend Joe's. As a young woman I'm used to mechanics trying to take advantage of me but Joe's Mobile Mechanics were not like that at all. They explained everything they were doing while diagnosing my car problems without being condescending. And I went from thinking I wouldn't be able to get home for Thanksgiving to driving away in half an hour. Very friendly and great mechanics.

These guys are your best bet for car repairs! A guy who was working on my car deserted me leaving my BMW's front end completely apart.I called Joe's, they came over installed the water pump, thermostat, new radiator, fan and put the complete front end wheel wells bumper, headlights, moulding.I was impressed and the price was right, luckest thing that came my way in car repairs! I highly recommend hiring these guys, they can fix anything. 5 stars!Services: Body & Trim, Engine repair

Terrible response time horrible people/communication skills. Always yelling and demanding. Won't listen to anyone else. Customer service is a huge problem here. Can't reach anyone..maybe a text in a few days

Both mechanics are tweakers. Showed up completely high and then proceeded to tear apart my friends car. They never got it running and actually broke more stuff while working on it. Only one of them knows anything about cars the other just stands there. When i made a comment on Facebook Regina the wife of the one who stands there blocked me. Apparently she doesn't lile anyone calling out her lazy tweaker husband and his buddy.Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair

My car would not start a guy came out said it was my alternator didn't do any tests to see if it was my battery my alternator my starter didn't check to see if I had fuel pressure or anything just told me that and he wanted 40 bucks and left came back the next day put in the alternator I paid him $100 car still didn't start it's all together I'm in the hole over $300 for a car that just sat and still don't run I would not recommend this service to anyone not even my worst enemy
