I was looking for a new local auto shop to get my oil changed and found J's on the list of businesses on the West Side Chamber members list. They did a great job, quality work and you could tell all employees really loved their job (one guy was even singing with the radio - love it!) Very friendly staff all around. I will definitely be back!Service: Oil change

Went there for a tire replacement. Was quote $200 a tire. So I went along. When I went to pick up my car, there was an additional fee for putting each tire on, fine. But then there was exorbitant tire disposal fee and a shop supply fee. I figured while after getting ripped off, I could at least get the points. NOPE, if you use a credit card, they charge an additional 4% fee.Should have learned my lesson. They were replacing a tire that they previously leaked patched and the tire still didn t keep pressure.Person was also no people skills. Supporting local in this case is a complete waste. I suggest instead supporting people transparent and good at their job.Service: Tires

Fare prices. Didn't charge me for trying to diagnose vehicle with blown engine. Helped me determine if it was cost effective to replace or rebuild engine. Didn't try to get me to something I shouldn't.Their honesty was much appreciated.

So grateful for the experienced and KIND professionals with J's Tire and Auto. Saw there was a major leak coming from my car this morning - went back to Valvoline thinking it was a problem from my recent oil change. The leak continued when I got back home, calling J's to hear they were booked for the day. After explaining the situation and hearing my concerns, they squeezed me in on the spot and identified the issue. A sensor on the side of my transmission was loose, leaking fluid. It ended up being a quick fix that likely avoided much more damage, and it was only resolved today because of their compassion and willingness to add extra work on with an already busy day.Grateful to know there are still good people out there. Will be back for all of my service needs from here on out - so impressed with the quality and compassionate service! THANK YOU!Service: General repairs & maintenance

They were very helpful and happy to help! I had a nail in my front tire, luckily they were able to get me right in and fix it while I waited for less than $35.

I took my vehicle to Karl's Chevrolet twice. Both times they told me nothing was wrong. I called Justin and explained my issue. Even over the phone I felt like someone was finally hearing me. That night I dropped my vehicle off and had an answer by 8:30 the next morning. Justin, the owner, called me himself. Walked me through the issue, answered all my questions, and even called me back later saying he had miscalculated and my total was lower than what originally stated. Everything was replaced by lunch time (along with two new tires) and ready for pick up. He showed me pictures of the problem and the part itself. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys.

Great shop. The people are very easy to work with and really know their stuff. The only shop in town I will go to. Best price on tires in town, I checked, have gone numerous times and are consistently great.
