Personable staff that understands the budget needs at all levels. They won't try and oversell.Robert showed me up front details of what needed done under my truck and he didn't seem rushed. I was very impressed!They stand by their work too! Had a lower ball joint boot rip that was installed 4 months ago. They will replace it on Tuesday morning.Unfortunately I hear the Euclid location is closing soon.Hopefully they will be joining one of the other many Des Moines locations.

There s incompetence, and then there s this:I make appointment online with Catherine to have vehicle examined; detailing apparent electrical issue that at its most extreme drains the battery to the point vehicle won t start, and at its most benign causes some lights to not light up and/or flicker.I show up for appointment next day only to be told by receptionist that she has no record of my appointment, but tells me to explain problem anyway. I explain the problem (again), receptionist indicates they can t do anything since vehicle is running, and sends me on my way. I send Catherine a follow up to see why the receptionist couldn t see my appointment and why I was sent home after making it clear the issue was intermittent, but expected they could at least run some differential tests to determine if something wasn t grounded properly or there was a parasitic drain, etc.Turns out Catherine was the receptionist Yea, the same one who set up the appointment just 24 hrs earlier. The memory of a goldfish & work ethic of a government employee who hates their job.

They were very honest and let me know that the work I needed on our car should be done at the dealership so it wouldn't invalidate a warranty we had. I appreciated that and will be back.

Per company request, I will explain the situation a little more: had $1400 of work done on brakes system, but brakes were still "spongy." Took back in and they called us and said they were fine. We said we felt shoving the brake pedal through the floorboard to get it to stop was not fine and it felt like maybe the brake lines hadn't been bled properly. They said they would check again and bled the lines. However, they were still pretty spongy when we picked up. Definitely not brake response I want my child driving, nor was it similar to what the brakes were like before. So we took it elsewhere and bled the system properly - it did the trick. Brakes are good to go and no longer "spongy". Usually, I would rate 1 star because I get a little perturbed when I say something isn't right about the car and I'm told it's fine (or vice versa) and I am even more cautious when its something the kids drive regularly. But, I'm going to give a little credit that they at least said we could bring it back in and they would look at it. There was a bit of delay in the time the work was done and bringing it back in because kid was at college and then military training and not driving the car.

I've been coming here for years because I know the people who work here will take care of me. I've witnessed them go above and beyond multiple times for customers while waiting for my vehicle. Robert and the staff are great people.

Saved the day. I was up in DesMoines and my tire had a valve stem blow out. These guys were crazy busy but I m not really familiar with the area. These guys helped me out in my emergency and I m so grateful for their professionalism and compassion!

This is the most professional tire and service shop I have been to. The management of this establishment is 100% competent and capable of finding a solution to repair or replace everything that has been faulty on all of my vehicles I have brought them. The manager, Justin, is always friendly and will work with anybody's budget to get what is best for them and their vehicle, to fix it right, the first time. I have never had to go back for same problem, and I always have my tire needs taken care of here.

Had an appointment on a Saturday to get service done & it is the first time I have ever been here. At the same time as my appointment there was a temporary power outage which I get why they couldn't do anything about. Guy behind the counter tells me he will call me at soon as the power is back on to get my vehicle taken care of. Well the power was back on with in an hour but no one ever called me to have me come back in or reschedule my appointment. So I sat around waiting & wasting my time for nothing. Really bothered that I have to wait till next day off to get my vehicle serviced. Will not be going back to this place ever.

review:I went there for 4 wheel alignment and new rubbers (tires) for my old beater car after a car accident which damaged the drivers side suspension. I fixed the suspension then needed aligned and new tires.I was super happy with their service.1- they did not have the tires they sold me so they upgraded me to better tires for free- Awesome!2- I took my keys instead of leaving them there, so they came to my workplace and got my keys from me to do the car service.3- The car rides strait and super smooth with the new tires and alignment.I am very very happy with Their service.First time customer.

Not the most customer driven staff,once we were acknowledged I pointed to the tires (right in front of the counter) and said that I was interested in that style and gave her the size I was looking for. 15 minutes later we were getting closer to pricing and availability, 22 minutes and we were walking out the door.Of course your probably thinking,that this deserves a higher star rating. Most of you would be right. Maybe I'm old fashion, maybe I'm wrong to think that if your in the customer business then you should act and LOOK accordingly. This was my first AND last experience with this company.

Robert Hill was very great in helping me choose the tires I needed to fit my car. Everyone that worked on it were very nice and considerate I really appreciate it The store was very clean and organized. Thank everyone very much

Horrible service I had $1000 worth of work done. Not a surprise that a little over a year the part went out. They would not refund me the money for the part and they wanted me to pay a $800 worth of labor to have it done over again. There workmanship is not worth that much. On top of that I've had to bring it back multiple times to have them fix things that should have been done right the first time. They will push you into things and will drain your wallet. This is unexceptional, wrong and unprofessional.

Took my dad's car to this location... And I will not use this location again!! The staff was friendly, the tech was knowledge. My dad's car is a Lincoln Town car, and it has air shocks. Those air bags should have been shut off BEFORE they hoisted the car in the air to put the new tires on... I was told, by the tech that did the tires, that there was a lot of small holes in both air bags on the back and they would either need to be replaced or convert the car to springs, both very pricey. We just converted to springs. We're 99% positive that those holes got there due to the techs not letting the air out of the bags and shutting it off.

Had a customer come here cause she had a check engine light on (faulty code from a prior part that was replaced)and she stopped at a shop. They wanted to charge her $609.62 to replace her rotors and pads. We got them replaced for $150. Don't get scammed by these con artists. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. These people are why service shops have a bad name. If i could do anything below a 1 star i would

I've been a customer of Freedom Tire and Auto for eighteen years, and have had top notch customer service and superlative automotive work done on my vehicles! Over the years, I've purchased six new sets of tires, had brake jobs done, engine tune-ups, and had my fuel injection system cleaned. The work was always done within the time limits they quoted, and always with the highest quality workmanship. I cannot imagine taking my car anywhere else in Des Moines that could compare with Freedom Tire and Auto.

Impressed with how kind and friendly these people were. They quickly changed 4 tires for us on our camper/trailer set-up. Most places make you wait forever!!

Oil changes, tire repair, NEW tires, brakes, thw list goes on! They can pretty much service any part of you're vehicle! Friendly staff, ready to help you out. No nonesense when it comes to estimates and labor!

Friendly employees did my tire change in a timely manner. Asked for them to check my brakes and pads and they explained the result to me and made sure I had a good understanding of everything.

Did not stand behind their tires at all. But I went to Goodyear corporate and they worked with me on the replacement tire. I would use Goodyear again just not this shop
