Simply incredible service. Jeff saved us.He helped us by phone and then came to our rv and worked diligently and with great knowledge.i recommend him whole heartedly.

Recommend 10/10 - Jeffrey is very knowledgeable and came out during the weekend and drove across town to find parts/ dealers to get us rolling. Got everything ordered and next day shipped from Chicago. Drove our driver back into town to a hotel and when he got all the parts came, he picked him up and drove him to a truck stop/ diner to wait while he went out in the pouring rain to fix our truck. Super fast service, amazing price, very trust worthy. Really hard to find someone like him.

Reached out to Jeffrey concerning our 2013 Freightliner. He had worked on this unit before, so we didn't hesitate to call him. He claims to have repaired the air dryer and the governor $650. Believing he had completed the job as promised, we asked him to look at another unit of ours. I will save that for the next review. After the repairs, this unit started having a multitude of problems. Within a few days, we contacted him concerning these issues he stated he didn't have a diagnostic machine and could not help us. We ended up paying another mechanic $1200 who On arrival connect DDL8 and set Unit into a forced regen and it kicked out roughly 15 times before regen would- take.After performing a regen commanded a scr efficiency test and ran finishing at a 1.0. Then, they told us filters may need to be replaced if issues persist. Sure enough, it did. The unit went to Interstate Systems ( as it has a Detroit motor). $4300 later, they replaced the Metering Unit. Days later, back in the shop, they let us know the AIR DRYER needs replaced. They stated it had not been replaced. That's what we paid Jeff to do initially. Now we had to pay for a new Metering Unit due to the air dryer shooting sludge into it. This voided the warranty. $3300 is the additional cost. I do have documentation and receipts to back this up. Please think twice before using. We paid over $9450 when you factor in towing and loss of revenue.

Freedom Roadside was the best experience we ve ever had in roadside assistance. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and reliable. He had us back up and running from a flat tire in no time. Top notch service!

I had my starter go out on my vehicle and I called Freedom to get it fixed. He couldn't make it out that day, but Jeff actually called me the next day to come out on his day off. Great guy!! Fixed my vehicle, brought me to the auto parts store, got me a discount on my new starter, gave me a great price, provided great conversation and got me back on the road. The most awesome mechanic I've met so far, and honest! I will be using him again for sure, and I recommend him to anyone having vehicle problems.

We had been told from our service dealership that our leveling jack needed a new motor. Jeff was able to repair it instead. It was apparently a straightforward issue that should have been seen by the dealership. He was honest and competent and polite. Highly recommend him to do your repairs. Reasonable price for the fix. He answered his phone late on Saturday and he did repairs for us early on Sunday morning. Thanks Jeff!!!

I had a dead motor home in Des Moines and had to leave in Des Moines. I found Jeff the next day and he was right on it and communication was good. Jeff had the vehicle running the next day. I should have left it at that but I had Jeff added new house batteries which were incorrect to original and has left me a modified electrical system which will be more problematic to troubleshoot in the future and was overcharged for the 12 volt versus approved 6 volt batteries. I have discussed with Jeff and am still waiting for promised schematic and credit. I really liked Jeff and his responses at the time but a simple follow up to my emails and phone conversation would have made this a five star review.Service: Electrical

Our brakes were shot and needed work very badly. I couldn't even move the car it was so bad, Jeff came out the next day to fix our problem. Turns out I didn't have the proper key to unlock the tire, but Jeff went out and bought one and got the job done. I had mentioned I also needed the oil changed and he took care of that as well. Jeff and his partner were fabulous! They helped identify what we needed right away and we're able to come help us in the evening which was so incredibly helpful. They worked diligently until 9:20pm and got us up and running very quickly! Such kind and trusting folks to work with! Even gave us tips to avoid our situation in the future. Could not be happier!

Last night came out to car to find dead battery. Buddy of mine came over for a jump with no prevail! Called Progressive roadside who sent out a kid from road ranger or something with jump pack. He tried several times and couldn t start car. His jump pack even needed charging which he had to do on his car. Called Progressive again who sent me out Jeff. He had my car running within minutes and diagnosed the problem instantly! He was extremely fast, efficient, polite and knowledgeable! Furthermore, he got me a great deal on a top of the line battery at auto zone which he even called to reserve me one! Will be calling Jeff in future for his thoughts on Mechanical issues!!!Services: Battery service, Battery

During a family trip our car died in the middle of a city park 40 min away from our home, on a Saturday evening. We contacted our insurance for roadside assistance and Armando from Freedom came out, quicker than the ETA. He was unable to get it jumped as the starter was shot but was able to give all of us a ride back to our home. This is normally where a great review stops, but this is where an excellent review continues. The next morning, his boss Jeff called after he heard of our plight and offered to pick me up, drive me to get a starter, take me back to the vehicle and swap it out for an extremely low cost. He drove me out and replaced a 20 year old starter with a bolt that fought him every step of the way. He followed up on Monday to confirm everything was still working well and to wish good luck on my son s surgery set for that day. I had only mentioned that one time and in passing and he remembered. Jeff showed honesty, positivity, and integrity which is why I would recommend his services to anyone needing them.

Jeff did amazing, quality work! He came out to my home since my SUV could not drive and took care of my SUV. My Stabilitrak light was on and my AWD would not engage and my ABS light came on all at once. I wasn t sure what needed to be done and he was able to diagnose the issue, even over the phone. He said I needed to replace my wheel bearings and also needed my rotors and pads replaced on my front end.My parts came in on Tuesday and he came out on Wednesday to complete the work. He is quick and also very friendly and professional. His prices are great also!I would 10/10 recommend him to anyone!

My wife and I were driving to Denver and had problems with our Mercedes Sprinter van. I called 4-5 places nearby, but we were an hour away from both Des Moines and Omaha and no local shops worked on these larger vehicles. We were having a problem accelerating and couldn t go over 40 mph uphill. Scary on I-80. One of the local guys recommended Freedom in Des Moines. I called and he drove over right away and diagnosed the issue. He made a repair and took the time to show both my wife and I how to do the repair. We made it to the dealer and fixed the problem ourselves for the cost of the part. The bill from Freedom was also quite reasonable. He only charged for the call and drive and not the repair,even though he spent an hour in the hot sun to diagnose and do the temp fix. He then called and made sure we didn t have trouble with the repair and offered to FaceTime to help if needed. They went above and beyond and I am so grateful! We are back on the road and avoided a tow to a dealer and likely a couple of lost days on our trip! Thank you so much!

When the Wind Chill is -32 and your vehicle will not start you call roadside service.When the gentleman shows up and gets it started BUT says ma am You NEED a battery NOW I thanked him & said I guess I go find a battery. He walked back to his truck..... then quickly came back and said Follow me to O Rileys Auto Parts I did just that..... he got the information he needed from my vehicle & we went inside. He stood in line with me for 15 minutes (everyone has something they need in this weather)He had them pull up his account so I would get his business discount. He then waited for the battery to come out & promptly took it outside & replaced my battery I had to FORCE him to take my minimal tip for his Kindness Thank you VERY VERY MUCH Jeff the owner of FREEDOM ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE..... you went above & beyond on this CrAZy cold day.... you are now in my Essential Contacts We all have Stranger Angels that for no other reason, than they are good people.Be that Stranger Angel Service: Battery

Don't waste your time !!! Exit 68 - I 35 , Air tank fitting . " Ok I can plug that quick I can be there in 45 min to 60 min". Never answered his phone !!! Complete ignore !!!
