Carlos Auto Service is the TRUTH!!! Dude had a whole engine he had to install by himself the day before he told me to come in. When I came in next morning, the car with the engine replacement was gone and he got me in & out which. Everyone else said 3-4hrs on labor. Carlos took maybe 1.5 hrs and was a fraction of the cost. Most importantly, I m from Texas and wanted someone I could trust installing my a/c compressor. Completely trustworthy! Didn t charge me a penny more than what he originally quoted.Carlos if you see this, know that you are a blessing to others.

Amazing place to take you car to get it fixed. Carlos does the best job. The only shop I fully trust for my car repairs. Normally works best to schedule a day and drop off the vehicles

My vehicle had a noise in the front I thought was something more severe. He test drove it and pointed out it was actually something minor. He very easily could have ripped me off and although he was extremely busy he worked me in and had me out within an hour! I was so impressed with the reasonable price I willingly paid him 2.5x what he wanted. Definitely will go back if needed.

I have taken my car to him multiple times in the past. He does great work. I needed my brakes done yesterday, and his shop on Hubbell is GONE! TORN DOWN! Does anyone know where he moved his shop too. Let me know..... PLEASE!

This operation is one of the best auto repair shops I have been to. Carlos gives you a time and you are in within a 30 minute window. I have been to the big auto repair shops (Stew Hansen) and have had to wait days to get my vehicle back. Five stars all the way, thank you Carlos.

This place is great! Carlos knocked out my ruptured brake-line at 1/10th the cost of a big box autobody store. Here's the thing you should know: companies like Carlos Auto Service keep their costs down through low overhead. So, if you want better air-conditioning, fancier coffee or more magazines, then go to Firestone and expect to pay more. If you want your car fixed at a price that won't break the bank, then arrive early, bring cash (not required) and check out Carlos' sweet license plates from Panama & Cuba while watching some Adult Swim in Spanish.

Best place in the town. Carlos is very experienced, honest, and affordable mechanic. You can buy your parts, and he will put it for you for very cheaper price than others. I highly recommend him!

I was referred to Carlos by a good friend for a break job. Not only did Carlos replace the breaks quickly, he also charged me way under what anyone else was asking! I will always refer my friends, family and co-workers to Carlos for any auto needs!

Carlos Auto in Des Moines Iowa is The #1 Best and Cheapest place in the Des Moines area to have your car fixed hands down.. I brought my car in to have the blower motor fixed, these guys not only fixed that but several other small things that I was having issues with, All for Half of the price I would have to pay anywhere else.. Can't tell you how thankful I am that I took my car to them.... Definitely going to be a loyal returning customer.. Thank you Carlos!!

carlos is one of the best honest mechanics that are hard to find, he fixed my car for a lot cheaper than other shops,including,sear auto service,firestone, valley west corner auto repair,..this 3 shops wanted a lot of money for a job that carlos took care fast and charged me 15 percent of what others wanted to charge me..thats a lot of saving..thanks carlos ..
