I recommend you check out this garage if you need car repairs. Friendly owner and staff and excellent work done. Can t say enough good about this business. So glad to now have a great auto mechanic on the south side of Des Moines!

We only take our vehicles to Tim at Budget... I never have to worry about them not getting fixed wrong and always fair on pricing.

Tim and his nephew are the best we've experienced since going to Stew Hansen Dodge. Tim was intentional in going over everything that we discussed needing done and through his genuine kindness, we got work done that we've needed for five years. Very honest! Brought my Pontiac in to get the rear driver side tire rod fixed and he noticed my entire frame was rusted out. Only had the van for 3 weeks and he saved my kids & me from a death trap. I would HIGHLY recommend Tim! He's an amazing upfront kind man.

Tim is always up front, honest and gets right to business! We have taken several of our vehicles to him he gets them in lets us know what the problem is and always charges fare prices! Recommend him 110%! Fast and friendly service every time!

My van was not starting so as I was not familiar with Des Moines. I asked a friend of a friend where around here can I get my van fixed. He said Budget Garage. I took his advice and I was happy that I did. Jake knew what the problem was without even looking at it. He said" Distributor cap and rotor". He received the parts and replaced the old with the new. He was quick with the service and I was on my way. Thanks Budget Garage.

I called Tim on Tuesday, told him what was wrong with my vehicle. He had her in the shop Wednesday midmorning and finished that afternoon. If he found any issues along the way he called me before ordering any parts or moving further. Before taking my vehicle to him we were actually talking about junking it, when Tim finished with her she drives brand new! I'll definitely be back in the future!
