i have tons of troubles trying to get through to my local dealer.I have spoke with matt in parts a handful of times and he is always willing to help out. very prompt with his responses and we all need to work together in this industry to keep trucks moving that is what it is all about in the end. keeping the customer rolling down the road thank you for your always amazing help matt you deserve more that 5 stars.ps wish your dealer group was in Wisconsin I would only work with you guys

I brought my peterbilt here to have a hood hinge bolt installed. This is how it was returned to me. After complaining they took it back and did it correctly. I had to explain to the technician how to properly adjust the hood also. I've had 2 previous experiences here back when they were "Quad City Peterbilt". The first was good. And the second was just ok. I'm 1 staring because had I not checked after them you see how they would have returned my equipment. And I cnt help but believe it was intentional. Thts hard to miss and as soon as I opened the hood I knew something wasn't right.

Drove out 2.5hrs one way to look at a Mack dump truck. I had been in contact with Peter K, he assured truck was in great shape, no mechanical issues.When arrived truck tires had damage to side wall, truck had lots of blow by, engine belt were ready to go, they were dry rotted and torn. Dump bed hoist lift leaking tons of hydraulic fluid.Wish he would had been honest and not waste my time. Would not recommend

i had very bad experience yesterday with this dealership. i was saw truck online on truckpaper they had 2019 freightliner with 505hpb i see all spces its good condition then i call this dealership. I Talk with Melissa. she is saleswoman then i hold this truck. she said ik you serious buyer then come over here to see truck because they have behind me 2/3 customers waiting for this truck. then i when in week buy Airline tickets I m live in Seattle WA. Yesterday i was visiting there i drive this truck its good condition i done all paperwork. I m trying to make deal with her for this truck i don t know why show me attitude. when i check all spces its Motor 455hp i tell them she said i don t know I m ask from freightliner they said i updated this hp with software but the thing is i was need original 505hp they are lying to me . they put online 505hp so i said i don t wanna this truck i have to buy High HP then She Said you wasted my whole day I did all paperwork But she don t care for customer who came from Seattle to here spend money on tickets and time that don t appreciate they don t said single word I m sorry for that

I came here seeking for help because I noticed my transmission oil bolt was missing only to be laughed at and told it doesn t require it.just because I have an accent.now the truck broke down in the middle of no where just because someone used their position to spread racism instead of helping

Amazing kind caring people took very good care of me and my truck while I was here never talked down to me when I asked questions about my semi definitely recommend this shop a million times thank you to each person here you definitely made this break down less stressful

My truck had broken down on a Saturday with a blown water pump. It was towed here and they got on it Monday. Considering what they had to do for repairs it was timely as well as a good repair. Labor rate was excellent and haven't had any problems since. These guys are good

Had a big issue, not sure where the problem was, maybe me? But 3 days to get a part they had instock (ridiculous). I do a lot out of waterloo a little in cedar rapids. Never been an issue. Davenport to their credit, when the realized what was going on, took immediate corrective action and made sure i was out the door quickly and the problem woukd get handled internally. I didnt have to stand there waiting on them to investigate and figure who to blame... that has been an issue elsewhere.... but these guys cliooed the red tape and i was out. As happy as i could be. Thats what real service is. Its not oerfection its cutting thru the red tape and making it happen now.Its noticed and appreciated.

Quad City Peterbilt (Davenport) is not just one of most outstanding truck dealerships, they are in fact more of a community. I recently bought a Peterbilt 389 from here, of course the process is long, but they made it painless. My sales rep, Melissa, is very knowledgeable in the equipment she sells, as well as very easy to communicate with. When Melissa closed the deal that was just the beginning! I was then introduced to John (Body Shop Manager) who made sure I was able to pick from a wide range of "up-fits". I was a little overwhelmed with the types things I could pick from so that lead to miscommunication. However, John was very nice and extremely understanding. He made sure, I was kept up to date with everything I needed to know until my truck was finished. Towards the end of the process, I was also connected with Trish who works along side John to ensure both parties are happy. With the help of these 3 amazing individuals, my dream truck came alive. Looking forward for more builds with them in the near future!

Been here years ago, pretty sure I had a pleasant experience then too.I had an ABS issue that other Pete dealers couldn't get too. This location got me in and taken care of. They also took care of a blown out mirror I couldn't find at any other location.

Best peterbilt shop I ve been to. Truck was towed in at night next morning they got me in immediately when they opened quickly diagnosed the problem and went above and beyond to get the part I needed. Within a few hours I was rolling haven t had any problems since !!

As we have all had a DEF issue, 5 mph limit set, I had truck towed to this service station. I was told the truck had two campaigns 1) ABS 2) rocker valve replacement. Also worked on DEF, two batteries replace and oil change.My history with Peterbilt service has not been good. First service in Dallas TX. was for alignment. My 300,000 mile steer tires shook so bad it cracked my windshield. At only 100,000 miles. When I left I was told my alignment was good. 150 miles later I noticed my front axle temp gauge no longer worked. This has been pretty consistent with Peterbilt. Something new would be broken or they charged me for something they did not service or tried to charge on a warrantied part (all over the US all Peterbilt).Back to this service station I returned to after a week. I talk to two service writers. First I explained my inverter (positive) cable was placed on my grounding post, they did that while replacing batteries. Also explained my mpg dropped 20-25%, with my inverter cables I did not trust what was done to my rocker values. The service writer said several things and we seem to have decided a simple leak check would be fine. And I would be back the next day after I picked up a load. I returned the next day and everything was in order. Everything was going smoothly. The writer wrote a new work order up while I answered his questions. Two hours later I am told they are done, but all they did was move the inverter cable, my least concern. I asked the service writer what about my 20% drop in mpg. The writer said we did nothing that would effect mpg and i had to suffer through him explaining everything they did as he seemed to postpone the inevitable. Valve replacement...... Then he said that was not going to cause a problem it was a prevention. (thinking so was replacing my batteries). So irritated that he did not discuses the 20% drop during work order and now wanting to argue with me. I left.... waiting for my injectors to clog or the next code caused by their (preventative maintenance) negligence that could have been prevented by looking at my concern, and not fighting me.. maybe getting paid for GOOD work.

$194/hr for the mechanic to clean up after the work is done but did take off the ridiculous $140 something for shop supplies because the mechanic got in the truck with greasy hands and diesel on his pants overall $619 for a $52 fuel line and 1 3/4 hrs labor is too high

this place is awesome my truck came in on a wrecker. took sometime to figure all the fault codes out. then they went to work . egr valve to actuator on the turbo to broken wires on transmission. they took care of the u-joint made sure that was put back together correctly. they worked on my behalf to get warranty to step up to the plate to pay there fair share. and treated me with respect and asa person. josh service manager the mechanic brad are to incredible people professional about doing the job right first time. came in with alot of problems. left with a truck running better than when it was new. very incredible place with great people

Had a total repaint done at Davenport Peterbilt last year and turned out great, couldn t have asked for a more professionally done job. Everyone of the personnel was courteous and very informative and helpful with color options and the details involved

Ordered a luggage cable Jan 30, 2022 and after not getting it or hearing anything I checked the order on Feb 11, 2022. It showed it had still not shipped so I sent an email to which I was told it was backordered and the supplier didn't tell them. I told them to can el the order which they agreed to. As of March 14, 2022 I still hadngotten a refund. I called in and was told I had to talk to one certain guy, can't remember his name, but he was supposedly on the phone. I was on hold for awhile then they came on and said they'd have him all me whn he got of the phone. Next thing I know I get an email stating that I received a refund. If you can't call me to let me know whats going on I definitely won't tell anyone to shop with you. That right there is not how to do business.

Best Damn Peterbilt shop! We have had our Peterbilt 579 for just over a year, and we've had some issues with it that just wasn't getting fixed. In the beginning of October our issues got worse (stop engine light came on), and 2 other Peterbilts tried to fix the problem (it really was a whole bunch of trial and error) but couldn't really fix it. KC (the service guy we talked to when we brought it in) told us in no uncertain terms that trying to find the problem and fixing it could cost us quite a bit of money. He was up front and honest with us about the time and cost that this could be. We like honesty, we hate being down for the third time this month for the same thing, so we told him to please find the issue. KC (the service tech) worked with us and told us everything that needed to be done, and kept us informed about everything during the whole process. We put the truck in on Monday, they found the issues the truck was having and had it completed by Wed afternoon. The people at this Peterbilt shop know their trucks, know truckers, are helpful and informative! We hope that if our truck ever plans on breaking down again, that it's near this Peterbilt shop. If you have to sit here for the day they have a nice drivers lounge upstairs with a large screen tv, a large window that overlooks the shop bay, a shower, plenty of outlets for your devices, washer and dryer (coin operated) and clean restroom. The service and honesty you receive here is above par and we would definitely come here again!

Drivers are not safe. Was driving and a truck with plate ending in 849 was speeding on I 74. Passing on right and being a horrible driver. To top off person behind wheel flipped bird. Not smart when your work is literally on the side of what you are driving. This happened 0600 Aug 2 2022.

If there was an option to put zero stars I would. I was told they could look at my truck possibly the same evening or definitely that next morning; one day later, still no truck in the shop. If I would have known they were going to lie, I could have taken it somewhere that would have taken a look at it by today for sure. This is an unprofessional way to run a business. At least they could have been honest in that they could not work me in so I could have made a more informed business decision.
