Been here since Friday at 7:00 pm for an air leak. I m still currently here at 7:00 pm on Monday for the same air leak. Was told at noon that once the part got here (came at 2) it was a 15 minute job and I d be out of here. I ve seen more of this from the mechanics, along with random wandering around in the shop, than I have a single bit of work get done. I ve seen a TOTAL of 2 trucks leave this shop since Friday evening, nothing else is getting completed. They charged us $450 to change an air cartridge because they swore that was the issue, only for it to be what I d said was the issue to begin with. The valve for the drop axle, and now they re bolting my drop axle up, it ll be quick. Yeah . Quick. Not in their vocabulary.Will state that the two younger guys at the service desk, both day/night shift, were nothing but attentive and tried getting them to get to my truck as they d said they would.

Wow reading these reviews I just broke down 90 miles away for a coolant leak. Reading the time wasted.. I mean DAYS on simple fixes.. I think I'll back track 2 hrs to another shop..

Excellent !!! the parts department attended me very quickly, no long waiting lines, very friendly vendors. plenty of room for a truck with a trailer. they had what I needed, very happy to shop at this peterbilt location. Thank you so much.

I brought my truck to get checked for an antifreeze coolant leak. They said they would check it that day at 4 PM. It never happened. Then they told me when I called the next day that they would check it in the morning. I came at the end of that day and they said they never had time to come around to check it. They did nothing and wasted two days of my time, when I could ve been working and making money instead of leaving my truck parked at Peterbilt by far the worst service I ve had in a long time. Very unprofessional. Avoid this place .

I am a trucker!!!! To all you people who have poor services rendered and was left with no recourse but holding the bag, listen to me .I went to Council Bluff Peterbuilt to have normal repairs made, things happen the Tec messed up. When at a later date I discovered the problem Rob the service mgr IMMEDIATELY assured me that they would make it right.Rob the service mgr is truly an honest person and a professional.They did the work at an significant expense to them.Dwayne and Steve the body shop mgr was awesome in communicating and scheduling repairs. The parts dept staff is awesome as well as everyone else. The facility is modern,clean, and efficient , and a notch above any other stores and (I m on my third Pete) that I have known. Pete even likes them!!!These people put the S in serviceI appreciate themKenny Green

P!as poor wrench turners that only want the money from big contracts.Don t bother making a booking for work because they don t care.Can t get to it today bs!That was the gf s truck. I told them, don t go there but they did it anyway.Took mine there two years ago and they left wires dangling off the batteries shorting out causing all sorts of problems I had to figure out myself.Told me my fuel pump was dead and I said no, only replaced last year. Turned out their wrench turner shorted the pump wiring out? Why? You were doing my rear bushings.Fookin idiots.

I just needed an engine light checked out. I had expected to wait hours before they'd come out and check it but they did it immediately. The customer service here is excellent as well! Great place!

After an initial disappointing experience, the service manager and shop foreman worked very hard to fix the problems. I am impressed with their honesty and integrity and commitment to small businesses in trucking. I will still be a cautious consumer, but I have confidence both Kyle and Rob will exceed expectations. I definitely recommend this service facility while under their capable management.

Amelia one of the best and most professional service writers in the country. Very polite and friendly to work with. Listens and takes the time to let you explain the issues with your trucks without being rude. Got our trucks in without hesitation.Kyle the shop foreman was top notch. Worked on our equipment in a timely manner and was very respectful to work with. I would without a doubt recommend them to anyone. .so slow seven hours for passenger side brake job. Had to wait till morning for the other side. Just the passenger front brake that's it seven hours

Outstanding. We had a dash light pop up. After being told at another dealer they couldn t test it for two day, CB Peterbilt said stop on by, park by the door and we will plug in to the truck. Exactly what they did and took the time to check out the problem, clear it and at no charge printed out the report. All this with a happy attitude and a smile. Keep up the great service!

Had them rebuild my engine in may, left get less than one hundred miles engine check light comes on took it back numerous times for that on 7-11-22 they replaced the dpf filter 2 nights in a motel leave less than 100 miles engine check likes was told the computer had to catch up ?? Went to Amarillo and back level 1 derate 5 times before I got back. Truck went back in 7-19-22 more hotels again, got it back 7-21-22 at 8:00 pm. 5 miles engine check like comes on $3,046.76 total $344.44 parts supplies $75.00 and tax.Highly do not recommend this place!! They have you do at least one star.

Don't know how their service is because I can't get them to answer the phone. Won't do business with anyone who won't answer the phone. It's been over an hour trying to get somebody on the phone. Even the parts person couldn't get the service department to answer the phone

Zero stars Been doing business with this place for 41 years off and on recently purchased a new Peterbilt 2021 one would think that the settings would be the way the owner wants them...take the truck back to them they charge me to change my land speed Jake break cruise control .. when I bought the truck brand new it had some paint peeling on the frame they said they would fix it ...so when I found time to take the truck back to them to fix the paint on the frame and sleeper door way out of alignment set the parameters on the motor where I wanted them in the first place which they charge me. Had the truck for 11 days picked it up it look like a first grader used a puff can to paint the frame..Very unsatisfied .. The Sleper door never touched..I told him I had an air leak from hell to this day it still does SMDH good luck people

A really great place to not get work done, if you don't have to get work done. Made an appointment a week in advance for a starting problem due to suspected fuel pressure issue, was at door when they opened as that was when appointment was for first thing in morning, took another hour to get it inside, just to find out 4 hours later they hadn't even put a fuel pressure guage on it yet, or done any fuel pressure test at all, "because it seems to start just fine today," pathetic

Day time parts counter won't ever answer their phones. I have to call sioux city 90% of the time to get part info then go into council bluffs store at night. Night shift is A+ but day shift needs to be reevaluated. I've bought two new trucks there since 2020 and im about to say screw dealing with Midwest Peterbilt because of that parts counter. I can't complain about the shop or body shop because they're always done great work. I know I'm not the only one dealing with this parts counter issue.

I called the shop at 9 pm last night looking for help with a coolant leak on my 2004 Peterbilt. I was told if I was here at 7 am they would get me in. What!! No way!! By 7:20 this morning I was pulling into a bay. WOW! The parts store is impressive and the counter people are very helpful. Thank you!!

Worse Peterbuilt shop in the country. They had my truck for 9 weeks to do a engine rebuild. Not one time did anyone ever call me during this 9 weeks to discuss anything. My truck sat in their back lot for 3 weeks after all work was approved. All the quotes on prices I was given changed weekly, depending on who I spoke with. On the finale day I was to pick up my truck they added 1,899 dollars to the price. They are liars and thief's, I will quareentee your truck will never be out at the time they tell you. I've seen many of owners with this problems many times there. Run from this shop!!! Go Any Where Else! I ask them to do a service on my apu. They charged me for the service. Upon inspection the app was 7 quarts low on oil, and the filters we're not changed. They did nothing to it. I had a clutch changed, they took 3 days longer and after leaving my back up light stayed on 100% of the time and my cruise would just shut off. I took it back and they wanted to change me thousands to fix the problem they caused.

Got in on Monday morning with out an appointment. At noon truck was out of the door.Problem fixed. Replaced DEF quality, temperature and level sensor. Saved my day, got me back on the road in 3-4 hours. Thanks.

Wow when they got you they really stick it to you. After arguing over a 2300 bill to simply change a headlight harness and install four batteries I walked out paying $1,774.81 217 they tried to charge me for simply changing four batteries arguing with them they drop that to $145 to change four batteries total labor to change the headlight harness kind of unclear on this one because there's several different ones but $224.75 $217.50 just to change a harness on the back of a headlight assembly. Love my Peterbilt, absolutely hate having to take it into a Peterbilt dealership to have it worked on their prices and their labor rate are just ridiculous every time you go in there you're spending thousands. If I could give or take away a star I would.

I came through there last August with a derated motor due to DPF issues. They were busy and it was 1700 when I pulled in. Did not have high hopes. Well they started working on my truck at 1800 and worked until 0000 when they closed. Got a room for the night next door and they were finished at 1400 that afternoon. I was very pleased with the service I received.

$291.21 to replace a fuse that was good the day before. Then they caused my quailcom to loose power somehow and they are not taking responsibility for it. I changed my status 5 minutes before it went in their bay so I know for a fact it was working and I can prove it. This place is dishonest and I will never come back here.

After 9 months in their shop, over 10 different conversations about all the issues with them, in witting by themselves, and over $30,000.00....the bottom oil pen is still leaking, and of course they still have all kinds of excuses to argue about it, so F'N frastruating. Avoid them if you can.I wish I could RATE them A ( 0 ) I would.

I stop in lately almost every time I m passing buy. Either for parts or service. Friendly staff and pretty quick to get me in and out.
