The pump for the gray tank on our Winnebago Travato died three days into a two-week trip across the Midwest. A call to Winnebago resolved the problem, which required them sending a replacement unit to Omaha near where we were staying. They recommended Central Body, and I was so pleased when they worked us into their schedule so quickly. Derek was a real pro, and oversaw replacement of the unit. We were in-and-out in 90 minutes. Kudos to Winnebago and Central Body for their expediency and expertise.

This shop is AWESOME! I was traveling through the city and needed a repair on my utility trailer. Called and they got me in right away so I could continue my travel to meet a deadline.Derek was absolutely wonderful, as was the rest of his staff! Treated me like family. In fact, if we lived in the same community, I know we would be great friends! A-ONE in service and oersonality!!!

Great service and quality work. Thanks, Derek and Tiffany for making what was a troubling experience much better. They worked well with insurance. The only thing that could be better is the cell phone service inside their building, lol. I highly recommend.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I wish I could say that they did a professional job BUT they didn t!!! They asked me what time I wanted to pick up my RV and I said 9am the next day. When I got there the RV was not ready and items had to be finished before I could take it. Then I got home and started cleaning it and found the cover to the black tank still off which I reinstalled. They were not doing quality work that day!!! Pic belowService: Body & Trim

Derek and his team were hugely helpful in what would have otherwise been a bigger nightmare situation than it was already. We broke down on the highway towing our camper trailer and they were able to help us figure out what to do about it, leave the trailer there so they could get us a quote or allow us to arrange shipping, and let us carry on with our trip while we waited for answers. The process was unbelievably friendly, informative and clear.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND.We are so grateful to Central Body in Council Bluffs. We had what we felt was an emergency slide issue on our 5th wheel camper. Not only did they get us into the shop immediately but Derek and David were able to resolve the problem in a short amount of time. THANK YOU DEREK and your whole team!

Recently had repairs done on our travel trailer at Central body in council bluffs. We had a tire blow out that caused extensive damage to the floor and bathroom area. The repairs were done right and they updated me over the phone through out the process. When it was time for picking it up the entire crew was there that did the work and walked us through the repair they did. Each person ask if we were happy with the repair. Our answer was yes..I would strongly recommend for camping trailer repairs.Service: Body & Trim

Service was outstanding with regard to body and electrical work. Of exceptional note was the amazing coordination Heather accomplished with my insurance company to make sure they paid for all covered work. The only reason I did not give them five stars was because of the high minimum hours required for diagnostic work.Services: Electrical, Body & TrimServices: Electrical, Body & Trim

0 stars. CAN YOU SAY UNPROFESSIONAL???Worst place ever!!! If this isn't totalled i dont know what is apparently. Mr jones as rudely posted below is me. LIKE I SAID UNPROFESSIONAL! I took my camper to Will, an big mistake that was! The fine tooth comb thing must be something they tell everyone, not the case with my camper. I took my camper to him the day after my accident. It was the 25th of January at 11:00 am. They said it'll take two days with that fine tooth comb of theirs. Well 8 days later an one excuse after another I had to remove my camper from his lot. The day I was expecting the estimate arose another excuse. Now I'm no expert but if a trailer rolls over... Wouldnt you check the walls? NO.... NOT THESE GUYS!!!! So the day the estimate was "suposed to be ready" he told me everything that was gone through so far. Now mind you, this is 8 days later, yes the 2nd of February. He tells me everthing hes gone through with no proof of his methods. Only pictures I received were of a level on my counter!! Then he finishes with the list. So I ask " What about the walls on the trailer?" He never mentioned those. He says "What about the walls?"By now I dont trust his judgment on anything an everything! Yes good point I owe 20,000 on a trailer.... Why are you working on it again??? These guys know nothing about campers!!! My trailer ROLLED OVER!!!!!! ROLLED OVER In a ditch buddy get it right! So obviously I picked it up ASAP. Ounce hooked up to tralier I went to get the keys in the office. This is Saturday the 2nd, the day I was expecting an estimate. Will, the man I gave my keys to, handed me someone else's trailer keys. Again UNPROFESSIONAL! Then on the following monday, he sends my insurance company a half done estimate. Oh an remember that hitch/coupler inspection? No where to be found on the estimate! AN IT WAS BENT!!!! Along with a long list of other things he failed to mention. Lied stating he recived it on 29th when I took the trailer to him on the 25th. Very shady place! They want your money an thats it. I bought that traiiler brand new off the lot in 2017. You think I want to continue to pay on something that slammed into a dich an flipped??? Shame on your work ethic an customer service! 0 stars hell -5 stars!!!!Update: Was deemed a total loss!!!

Our camper came off the hitch and the tongue hit the ground. Quite a bit of damage. Heather, Dreanne, and the team were amazing to work with. This is the 2nd time I had repairs done at their facility in Counsel Bluffs and will keep going back. Great communication and workmanship! They new exactly what to do and how to work with my insurance co. Highly recommend!

The whole Central Body from top to bottom are amazing. They went to war for us. If your insurance company is being difficult these are the people to take care of it. They went above and beyond for us. Also they kept us in the loop on what s going through the whole process. I would recommend them to everyone.Thank you so much!!

While heading south through Iowa, I had four wheel studs shear because I didn't torque the lugnuts properly (due to a blowout). Luckily, a passerby told me the lugs were gone while we were traveling through Council Bluffs. I called about 30 places that included truck repair shop, auto repair shops, auto parts shops, and one mobile repair shop. None of them said they could help, ut a few referred me to Central Body. Called them up, spent a good 45 minutes on the phone with Lynn, who was very friendly and sympathetic to the situation. Unfortunatley, we had to schedule an appointment for the next day due to their work load. Next day, bring the rig in, and discussed the way forward to getting two new rims and replacing the studs. I talked with Heather, Lynn, and Deane, all of whom were helpfu. They did everything they could for us to get us back on the road. Since parts had to be ordered, they got the rig into a driveable condition and even coordinated an RV park for us to stay at. It took five days for the parts to come in, but they did everything they could to keep costs down and ensure we were taken care of. They even gave us suggestions for thing to see and do in Council Bluffs and Omaha. All in all, it wasn't a planned stop on my trip, but I'm glad that when the bad news happened that it was here. I can't say enough great things about this shop. They even let me bring my dog into the shop so he could soak up some attention. If you need work done to your RV, I would highly recommend having it done here.

I have been taking my diesel pushers (I've had two of them) to Central Body since 2017. In addition to ordinary annual maintenance items (fluids, filters, belts, etc), over the years CB has also completely replaced a residential style refrigerator, replaced all tires, and resolved various electrical problems. Recently, just as I was embarking on a month-long trip out west with my Newmar Essex, my steps abruptly quit retracting and I couldn't drive it. In desperation, I called one of the CB service managers and even though it was raining at the time, she drove out to where I was parked, crawled underneath the rig and resolved the problem so that I could keep traveling. Whenever I take my rig to the CB shop, I am met with friendly, courteous staff who make every effort to meet my needs and time frame in a professional manner. After returning from my latest trip, I needed some immediate repairs and despite their very busy schedule (their parking lot and work bays were packed with other rigs), with short notice, they fortunately were able to work me in and get me back on the road in the same day. That's what I call "service". I have never been disappointed and it's comforting to know that I can count on Central Body to "have my back" when I need them.Services: Tires, Electrical, Body & Trim, Oil change

The team at Central Body in Council Bluffs are fantastic. We had a situation that occurred with our 2022 Class C Motorhome leveling system due to rough roads in our travels. The team got us slotted into the schedule, went above and beyond to provide the best service to get our unit fixed. They even did some additional inspection and preventive maintenance to make sure the system was working as designed. They have earned my business for the future. Thank You!!! I had a wonderful experience taking my RV for repair at Central Body! They worked hard to get my RV back on the road and were very helpful with all my questions! The mechanics, Adam and Mike showed me all that needed to be done and what they were going to do before any repairs were made. Eileen and Shelby kept me in the loop for progress reports and were very friendly! Bill, the owner also got involved in the repairs and ever showed some things I had missed that needed fixing! All in all, I would recommend them to anyone who needs their RV repaired! Mine was a very old 1977 and they had no problem getting it back on the road when others refused to work on it! Central Body is a great company, has a great staff and I am very happy with what they did!

Great business that I will be using again. They were able to get a part for my LQ horse trailer that I had been searching the internet for 6 months trying to find. They were also able to get keys for our trailer that we were not able to get going through the manufacturer. Heather is very knowledgeable! Fast & friendly service!Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Got me in to work on my RV the very next day. They assessed the problem with my batteries both failing overnight and offered a cost effective solution of a kill switch on my motor battery. They said that they could do a more in depth look at the wiring, but I was wanting a low cost fix. Very friendly and nice people.

I dropped of my RV on 6 August for a new ladder, high voltage reading on the alternator, a new air condenser and fan, and broken leveling jacks. I stressed the ladder as I wanted to seal the roof as soon as possible. I called periodically to check on it and was told everything was fine. They then called me to say my batteries needed replaced. I confirmed that me electing to do it myself later would not affect their ability to do the work. I called for a status update on 21 August and they said they couldn't duplicate the alternator issue, didn't trouble shoot the jacks because of the batteries, couldn't buy the parts for the ac system, and offered to order a universal ladder for $459 that they could have in in 10 days. They left it outside this whole time doing nothing knowing it needed roof sealing. As a result the backup camera now has a short and it smells like there is roof damage. When I showed up to get it the house batteries were disconnected with one wire they didn't remember where they disconnected it from and they had completely drained my personal jump box of any charge. They offered no answer or way of compensation for any of this. Do not use this shop, you will regret it.

The people are great. But They price gouge out of towner. They did not find my part. I had to go and pick it up myself to get it done the same day. But they charge $395 for same day.. Charge me $90 To transfer A tire to a rim. Be where. Ask what they're going to charge you before You bring In your trailer. We pay for their employees to smoke cigarets because they did not do nothing to Trailer. They didn't have a part to put in..

Nov 2017 we brought our RV in to see if it could be repaired. They said they could do it so we wouldn t have to total it out. We were hopeful. After many months, we were seeing progress. They rebuilt some of the interior and exterior along with framing. We were having trouble with opening the door and they made some adjustments. After picking up The Motorhome toward the end of July 2018, we called them about some other issues. The screens weren t completely put in properly and the windshield shades weren t working. The air conditioner unit in the bedroom wasn t working. Seems like a wiring problem. We called them and they wouldn t even work with us. After another $5000 in repairs to air and screens from another company (electrical issues, probably from the wiring they replaced) we thought we were ready to roll.We take off for vacation in October 2018 and the passenger seat is a recliner(the power recline does not work- more electrical) the windshield shade on passenger side does not work with the switch on passenger panel. (Driver has to adjust the passenger shade)Basically after over $50,000.00 paid to them from insurance and receipts were missing a lot of the money and repairs I do not have faith in them. They left us high and dry in finishing repairs. Like I said after all the money to them another $5,000 to another company to fix their mess ups.Very unhappy with the workmanship. The generator cover on the front is misaligned with no weather seal.Ps..... I miss the ability to use my recliner while traveling.New edit; After traveling 3 weeks in it, we have been in some rain down south and found we have many leaks. Roof leaks, windshield leaks, door leaks. Will you guys do anything to fix these problems or did you just pitch it together to get $50,000 from insurance.

We were on our way to Yellowstone and our 5th wheel camper hitch was vibrating loose due to road conditions. We called Central Body Company in Council Bluffs, they told us to bring it by and they would see what they could do to help us. They were friendly over phone and when we got there the service manager personally came out to help us. This is a business you can count on and trust. We would highly recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very satisfied with the quality of the work performed. I had to make a short notice trip with an old boat trailer. They squeezed me into the schedule and completed the job by the next day. I safely towed the 1981 boat over 1000 miles with peace of mind.

Extremely unprofessional! The WORST place to take a your trailer for an estimate on a totalled trailer. It took them over a week to have 0 proof that they even did anything. They gave my husband back the wrong key's when he picked our trailer up. The dude never answered the phone! And he was extremely rude when answering any questions my husband had concerning our trailer and he never remembered what he was told to look at. Asked for my husband's e-mail twice, acted like he never asked before or wasn't already told, Acted like our trailer wasn't important.I called 2 other places and both places told me that he waisted our time. And we knew all they were trying to do was get the money from our insurance and slap a band aid on our trailer and we have writing all over our trailer to prove it. Taking it some where else that will have our estimate in 2 hours! I do NOT recommend this place to any one! They also lied all over the estimate and we have so many pictures to prove how unprofessional this place is. And they didn't complete the estimate!

I had my motorhome at Central Body Co. for repairs to my heat& air conditioner. They got right work on it. They found the problem with it. They had them repaired in one day. I had bought this motorhome from Camping World at Council Bluffs last summer. They had it there for over 3 months to repair the A/C and a couple other things. I found out if you want your RV repaired right & fast DON`T TAKE IT TO Camping WORLD. I have never been treated better than i was at Central Body Co. Thank You Bill and Matt and your crew. Thank You again. Paul Pottorff
