Honestly, absolutely ridiculous. Called AAA and they dispatched west side auto pros. I was assigned to a technician Lance Miller. Wait time was reasonable and loading my car went fine. Then I (female 21) had to fight with the tech (elderly man) to get him to tow my car to my preferred shop. This was met with condemnation, him saying that the shop I wanted wasn't good/ didn't have time for me. (Even though I already had made an appointment with the shop in question). The tech tried to strong arm me into taking my vehicle to his company's shop and wouldn't accept my answer until I got my father on the phone. Even after my father said the exact same thing I said, the tech was still agitated and became very rude to me. I had to defend where I wanted the vehicle taken multiple times. It was an incredibly stressful experience and not what I expect in terms of customer service.

If you are looking for a place that does quality work, warranties their work, actually has time to get your vehicle in to work on sooner rather than later, completes work in a timely manner, has reasonable prices, provides free rental, and brings overall peace of mind, then bring your vehicle over to Westside Auto Pros. My 2009 Nissan Altima would not start one morning unless I pressed all the way down on the gas pedal before pushing the start button. I called Westside Auto Pros and they were able to get me in right away despite not having any service history with the shop. They even provided a free rental for 2 days while they did the initial diagnostic and service. After getting the car back it seemed to be having the same issue so I contacted the shop if they could take another look at it. Without question they wanted to remedy the situation. Ultimately they were able to fix the issue and get my car running like a top. For a car with 191,000 miles on it with no prior service history at their shop, I admire how they recognized the car wasn't running quite right after the initial diagnostic and service and how determined they were to make things right. I never had any doubt Westside Auto Pros would figure out the issue and fix. Very professional shop. I also like how they provided a very detailed diagnostic and description of what was done to the vehicle for future service reference. My initial 2 star review has become 5 star.

I have continued to trust my vehicle over the past several years with Westside Auto Pros. Kenny, my Technician, Chris, my Service Advisor, Mike, Jessica, and so many others ALWAYS provide 10 Star Service!!! I keep my 2017 Toyota Camry showroom clean and as of this service visit it has only 26,600 original miles. I love how Westside photographs the various components of my car as they work their 51 service inspections. To me, my vehicle is an investment that I will drive for a very long time and Westside always respects and cares for my Camry as if it was their own. Thank you!!!

Could not have been nicer! The first thing he asked once hooking up my minivan was if I was sure I had not run out of gas. Until then it had not crossed my mind.Westside Auto arrived very quickly, and towed me to the gas station less than 1 block away. He put $10 of gas in my van and checked my battery, and it started right up. He was my hero !!!

Transmission went out after a crazy week of snow, they were able to get me in and diagnosed same day. Weather delayed parts, however they got right to work once the parts arrived. Tyler did a very thorough job, and fixed other issues for me as well while the truck was in the shop. Great communication from the tech and the owner! Would highly recommended to anyone looking for a local repair shop. Thanks again!

I've been dealing with Westside Auto Pros for a few or more years, and I'm very happy with the services that I paid for, as well as the treatment of all the staff. I don't mind paying more for the sake of my vehicle, I've never liked going cheap. The fact is that Westside Auto Pros has saved me thousands of dollars in the past and cares about customer's concerns. If you want good quality service that you can rely on, please try WESTSIDE AUTO PROS. Don't cheat yourself. Treat yourself. 10 STARS.

I was looking for a new mechanic because mine retired. I ask the first person I met at the Westside Auto Pros how they were about taking care of your car. She told me, "They've been taking car of my car for the past 31 years. You'll be happy with how you're treated." I think I've found what I was looking for. Truthful advice and affordable service is what I've found.I was promised a 10% Veteran's discount but didn't see it on the final invoice. I did not mention it to the Service manager. I was just in a hurry to get my vehicle back.

Westside Auto Pros was super easy to work with. When driving, my car would just slow to a crawl. They quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it (when the dealer's service department couldn't find anything). Their relationship with Enterprise made the whole process really convenient. Great experience! Excellent communication throughout and very professional. On top of being very satisfied with their service, I was so surprised to see the inside dash and floor was cleaned in my car! Nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

This was my first experience with Westside Auto Pros. They were quick to tow my car into the their shop during a snow storm. And had my car up and running and ready forpick up within a day. Kept me posted on what they were finding wrong and the cost for each item. They've become "my go to" auto service pros.

Clean, friendly, and efficient. From my initial internet search to the final exit survey, my experience with Westside Auto Pros was professional in every way. Courteous and cheerful people on the phone, at the counter, and in the (clean) shuttle made it a pleasure to do business. The fresh scent of cleanser assured me I had no Covid worries here. Oh yeah, they fixed my car too...and threw in a free inspection. My simple tailpipe repair was no challenge, but I have every confidence the mechanics in the shop are just as "Pro" as the folks out front.

Contracts with AAA to provide no roadside service. Had to call a real company to get roadside service. Sadly I can t rate less than 1 star, but if I could I would. I would never go here for anything ever again and I would advise the same for anyone else. They will find a way to rob you.

I was here from another state and worried about the electrical system of my car. I wanted to make sure it was safe enough to drive the 700 miles home. They scheduled me same day, did an assessment of all systems, and I have peace of mind that I will make it home.

I would like to leave an extremely positive review for all of the staff there at Westside Auto Pros in the West Des Moines area.I am Active Duty Air Force traveling on leave from southern Minnesota back to my duty station of Little Rock AFB. My 2009 GMC Acadia developed a non-functional alternator and a quickly dying battery.W.A.P. was recommended by my friend in the area. I called. Explained that I was in a significant time crunch needing to ask for emergency extension of my leave status. Your front desk personnel instantly understood the significance of this and arranged for me to bring my Acadia in immediately.The quality repair was completed by the end of business hours the same day!!I was able to leave early the next morning and arrived at my duty station without further incident.Please acknowledge front desk personnel Chris Heuertz, and the two female members whose names escape me at the moment. They were all as helpful as they could be.I would also like to recognize the mechanic Kenny Ball that per your paperwork did the actual repair.Please consider recognizing them with a raise or bonus this holiday season. AAA responder and helped diagnose my van. Very patient as I figured out what to do. I decided not to have repairs done as I was quoted a much higher amount than what it cost by someone else to fix. There were a couple things that I was told I need to replace which I did not.

One of their employees hit my parked car and my boyfriend had to chase the guy down cause he didnt even stop my vehicle is totaled and I have not at all been paid for it I have been stranded with no way to work and will probably not even have my job much longer I only had this vehicle a week so it hadn't been transferred yet cause my appointment hadn't even came up yet so there for it hadn't been insured yet I struggle to even survive and this is having a very negative impact in my life!

Got me in same day for pre-purchase inspection allowing me to purchase vehicle without risk of losing it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would use them again.

Very slow. Trying to justify a $170 diagnostic fee! over 2 hours to do a 50 point inspection and half the things on the inspection sheet didn't even need repairs. Even in this economy mechanics stay true to form! They're crooks! DO NOT use this place!!!!

Being new in town, I was referred to Westside Auto Pros when I was looking for a quality, local shop that could work on my car. I was not disappointed. I feel they did a terrific job with my car. Everyone from the shuttle drivers to Chris, Luke and the gal at the counter whose name I can't recall(sorry) were awesome to work with. There were no surprises. After diagnosis, I was presented with a comprehensive list of items, color coded by level of importance with estimates for each service clearly listed and NOTHING was done without my permission. After the repairs, everything is operating as intended/expected. Everything is warranted and I trust that they will stand by their work. The interior surfaces were dusted off and the glass was cleaned. I feel the price paid was fair. Not cheap, not expensive, fair. I'm an old farm kid and was taught an old saying; "good work ain't cheap and cheap work ain't good". I've scheduled additional services with them and will continue to bring my car to Westside Auto Pros for a great job at a fair price. Way too expensive. Did a giant inspection test I did not ask for, but had to pay for it. Wanted $2,500 to replace my radiator.Ended up just getting an oil change and found out after hooking up a code machine, that they put the WRONG OIL in my Jeep.Thanks for the response. It was a code reader that read "incorrect engine oil type" Code # P1521.

Westside Auto managed to get our vehicle in even tho they were booked because we needed to leave for vacation. They do awesome work & keep in touch thru the process. I was traveling by myself and my car broke down. I got it towed to West Side and from the start they were very accommodating, communicative with what and why they were doing something and the cost. I worked with Chris and he called every time there was an update. He explained everything so well and made sure I understood before they went any further with repairs. They were also very kind and helpful through the whole process. They provided me with a pick up service since I no longer had a car and was from out of town and they provided a rental car for the remainder of the days my car was at their shop at no cost to me. They made a very stressful situation much more manageable by going above and beyond what they had to do. I ve had mixed experiences with Westside. Tow truck drivers have been great. AAA sent them several times for dead batteries. My first few experiences were amazing. Quick, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Since then it takes longer to get in for service and longer for them to repair anything. Recently I had my van towed there when it wouldn t start. I didn t get it back for OVER TWO MONTHS. My car didn t start so I called AAA and Westside Auto promptly came to jump start my car battery. Jacob did a good job! I then drove over to Westside Auto to see if my battery needed to be put on a charger. Luke and others at Westside Auto were friendly, professional and great to work with there.
