Had what I was looking for in stock, so thats always a plus. What I didn't care for was the fact when my friend and I both walked in no one greeted us or asked if we needed help with anything it almost felt like we was invisible and that's never good for business... First time visiting this establishment...

Had some brake issues with our vehicle while on a roadtrip, and stopped along the way at O'Reilly's in Charles City after a quick Google search of the area. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and had all the parts and supplies on hand that I needed to do an impromptu brake job right there in the parking lot! They not only offered the usual "loaner tool" program for one specialty tool I needed, but also went above and beyond by gladly providing a few common hand tools and some disposable gloves to get the job finished right. Got everything fixed up and was back on the road in an hour or two!

Great Great place. I truly recognize them actually caring about the people's truck or car trouble. Man... I went in the store and said, You know this part well it's like this and I call it a Johnson's rod, (Men call anything that don't the name Johnson rod,) fortunately he did know the name of the part so yes O'Reilly AutoParts S is the Store to go to.Later fellow car guys and gals dale

Man was very helpful. Ran computer diagnostics on car because check engine light had com on. Fixed that and replaced rear window wiper blade. Established my air conditioning unit was the main cause of the noise I heard.

Double check what this store tries to sell you. We had just been through the 2020 Derecho and (understandably) nothing was open in Cedar Rapids. I needed to pick up a generator from my best friend and replace a dead battery in my 2005 Toyota Tundra. I met my friend in Charles City, IA, and after picking up the generator, I turned my attention to the battery for the pickup. I explained that I needed a 710CCA, 27F style battery not the more common 27 style. A 27F (I ve been told that the F stands for Ford) has the positive and negative terminals reversed so that when the terminals are closest to you the positive terminal is on the right. I explained this to the gentleman and the woman working at the counter. After several minutes of fruitless searching, the gentleman came from the back with a battery that was the right size and had the right CCA rating and the red terminal was on the right. Sold! As the woman was ringing up the sale, I noticed that the gentleman was removing the plastic caps from the terminals. I asked him to please leave the terminal caps on as it is unsafe to haul a battery long distance with uncovered terminals. I didn t think anything more about that until I got home and discovered that he had placed the red cap on the negative terminal. A lesson for me from this is to always check the marking on the battery and not trust the colored terminal covers. While I appreciated their enthusiasm trying to help, I feel that this may have been an intentional deception on his part and I will not be back to this store. There is a much happier ending at the Cedar Rapids Store.

Best in town. Went in 3 times in as many days and one of the guys who helped me was a little rude acting towards me. Otherwise, only parts store in town I will go to.

Extremely helpful I have one arm and they came out and help me put my license plate on and went there to buy license plate bolts they're always very helpful
