My husband and I have been staying here full time since 2022. We went from prior owner to the new owner, which is Beyonder. The park is great, many varieties of trees, pond and activities for younger during the months of April to Nov.Chris in maintenance is GREAT. During our 40 below windchill he was out on roads doing snow removal. He was also great at helping all of us out with dead batteries, stuck vehicles and anything else we need.We plan to stay at least thru summer so look forward to what plans Beyonder has.

My husband and I stayed at Beyonder for 7 months in our RV Fifth Wheel. During those 7 months is when they put in electric meter reads, so there were many ups and downs, and it was the first time they were open year round for winter. With all that we personally experienced good and bad while staying at Beyonder, it was a great first time experience for us living full-time in our RV. We are forever grateful for everything that Kalee (previous manager) and Chris (maintenance) did for us! They went above and beyond to be there in any way that they could help!

We stayed here for a stopover coming and going from Minnesota to Kentucky.Very easy access off the.We have the same site for both stays. The site was very level and the hookups all function fine.I was really impressed with the size of the sites in the amount of space between the adjacent a campers. There was tornado warnings during one of our stays.Besides hearing the local sirens the staff did a great job at sending out a text alert to take cover and providing a safe place to stay during the tornado warning.I would not hesitate to stay here again and I would ignore any of the negative reviews that have been posted regarding this campground.

This is a really nice campground. The stalls are wide and spacious, not cramped like sardines as in some other campgrounds. Nearly every stall has a fire pit and a picnic table. The restrooms are clean and modern. There are plenty of recreational opportunities on site, including mini golf, disc golf, sand volleyball, horseshoes, a splash pad, a half basketball court, a pond for fishing and boating, and a children's play area.My only reason for not giving a higher rating is that my sister's female domestic partner, visiting from Maryland, felt that she was treated poorly by the management. She started to take her dog into the restroom, a simple oversight because she missed the notice on the door, and she felt that she was chewed out excessively (even after apologizing) for what was just an honest mistake. She also said she was chided for driving a bit over the posted speed limit on park roads; how could they know how fast she was going? My sister and her partner are thinking of making annual summer visits to Iowa to see family. If the management is willing and able to rectify this situation and make them feel welcome at Lazy Acres, we will definitely stay there again. Otherwise, we may look for another place to camp during future visits.Update: I wrote this review after staying there in July 2022. The campground is under new ownership since then, so hopefully the negative issue that I mentioned has improved.

The general manager (Kayla) is not professional. Kayla yells at campers and will argue with campers in regards to issues she thinks she knows they re doing. We had an issue with her (Kayla) and she was the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. The bathroom lights do not stay on when using the rest rooms at night. If you shower the lights shut off and will not turn back on unless you walk out of shower (naked) to move around because they re motion censored. My husband complained in regards to this twice and nothing was ever done. There was a little boy showering in a stall next to my husband and the light shut off and he was so scared. This is just not safe at all. They also claim they have washer and dryer s but both washers were out of order the entire time we stayed. I would not recommend this campground to anyone.(FYI if you re going to yell at someone for driving 8 miles an hour you should probably enforce it to all campers. I would like to share this video is this truck was going way faster than 5 miles an hour just not safe for kids.)You are only allowed to upload photos on here, which is a bummer cause I d love to share some videos.

After reading the mixed reviews - I have to agree with the majority of comments about it being run down. It's clear to see it was once a pretty campground, but it needs work on the roads, signage, the flower boxes that only have weeds in them. It is serviceable as an overnight stop, though, with good water pressure and wide and easily accessed sites.

Our dad recently passed and we took him home to Iowa where he's from & where both of his parents are buried. We had to plan a funeral/reception from another state 7 hours away. All I could see were a few pictures on the internet. We rented the airnb @ Beyander that was absolutely perfect for everything we needed to do. Kalee went above & beyond to accomodate/help us & make our stay/reception as great as it possibly could be given the circumstances. The price of the airnb was extremely reasonable. $145 a night for an entire house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an entire basement, a 2 car garage, a patio deck, a grill, a beautiful kitchen with all working appliances including a washer & dryer, two big screen tv's with netflix, & working wifi. That's how much one will pay for a cramped hotel room. They have a reception room available for rent for $25. We rented it & then ended up not needing it bc we did everything at the spacious airnb. We are ever so grateful for all of her help! She's the woman to talk to if you have any questions or want to plan your trip. My sisters want to rent it again in the future bc they enjoyed it and so did all of our guests. Some of our guests were from the area, but didn't know it even existed & they were also super impressed. The campground is decorated so cute. They have things to do for the littles. I got my first glimpse of what the RV Life is like & I loved it! I can see why people do it. There's a Casey's gas station & a Dollar general just down the street. It's definitely worth checking out!

We booked Lazy Acres en route to our home when returning from vacation. This campground has tons of fun stuff to do including mini golf, pavillion, pool, nice paths and even a lake with ducks, geese and a beaver! I wished we had more time to stay and play, this campground is loved and it shows. The only amenity we could have used is a fenced in dog park (our puppy was a handful by this point in the trip!). Thanks for the great night!

We have always been big fans of Lazy Acres and our family has frequently camped there for years. Since the new owners we have had nothing but bad experiences. The last 3 times we have been there it has been awful....and seems to just be getting worse. One time we were assigned a share site with a complete stranger (including having to share a fire ring), one time we didn't have a fire ring at all and this past weekend we didn't have power and lost a bunch of food that was in our fridge before we realized. We called the number left to call staff multiple times and left a message but no one called us back or checked on us the entire weekend! The ENTIRE weekend! They raised the prices, had nothing for the kids to do, the grounds were not maintained and zero staff available for assistance all weekend. Easily our worst experience at Lazy Acres and needless to say we won't be back!

This place has been a family favorite for many years. Now it is run down, weeds everywhere. Trampoline is gone. Feels like a ghost town on a gorgeous 70 degree sunny weekend. The prices were increased to $50+ a night! Sadly we won't be back, the amazing campground this was is no longer.

What a wonderful campground! We only stayed two nights but certainly put it on our list of places to come back to and stay longer! Very kid and family oriented with so many activities. Very clean bathrooms and well kept grounds. Golf ball race, air plane slide, bean bag toss, splash pad, scooters, disc golf holes, fishing, covered creek bridge.

A very relaxing RV Park!! Right off the highway. Casey gas station is just up the road. The RV park is big and beautiful. Very spacious RV sites. Lots of luscious green grass. Tons of play places for small children. Summer splash pad, volleyball, horseshoes, trampoline, and mini golf. New owners are very nice. I asked if they had a place I could give my 2 small dogs a bath and they were able to offer me a great place. The park has two washers and dryers. This is a great campground for an extended stay or just an overnight stopover.

We stayed for 6 days and we didn t want to leave. The staff is amazingly friendly and they are 100% accommodating to everyone s needs and safety. We noticed a hole in the trampoline mat and they closed it off and put in a new mat and netting the very next day. They often make rounds on their golf carts to assure everyone is having fun and safe. It was our first time camping with our new camper and we can t wait to go back!

Stayed here also on the way to Winona, MN. Also in a tent site with 30 Amp service! All I needed. Great set up for families with youngsters! Bit also great for this elder on her own. So many songbirds! Should be called Robins Nest!

Stopped here for the night on our trip to and from a race event. Wednesday night went just fine, no problem. Sunday night was a different story. Had called and didn t get an answer and did not receive a call back. Arrived after hours and we planned on doing our deposit in the after hours night box like you would typically do (like we did on 4 days prior). After parking and trying to get my family settled in, we received a knock on our door by management. They asked if we had a reservation (the park was for the majority very empty) and I replied no but explained what had happened on Wednesday. I was very cordial and apologies for any confusion, offered to pay now or leave a deposit in the night box. I cannot believe how demeaning, aggressive and rude I was then talked to. This new management was beyond disrespectful and made me feel extremely disrespected. We will never be stopping here again and will make sure to pass on the word of how awful the new management treats their customers. We will gladly take our business elsewhere.

I really liked the first night I stayed in my truck in a camping spot due to my camper being ordered and with a senior discount it was almost $30!!!! The electricity didn't work as well. The second night I I went back and the manager as he called himself was yelling at me and I was talking to him calmly and rationally. He said it would be over $40 and that I couldn't stay in my truck because my camper was not ready yet. He literally took a picture of me and of my truck and said I could not come back. I can not believe the difference in the money between 2 different clerks and the rules should be the same no matter what. Really have to get your stuff together if you want a positive feedback. I honestly think I should receive a refund for the night before and for the way I was treated that day

Our family spent a few days here recently and absolutely loved it. The staff is amazing--very friendly and accommodating. This is a great place for kids with the splash pad, playgrounds, mini golf, trampoline, and other activities. The spaces were large and well maintained, and the showers were nice and clean. My only note is that there is no swimming at the beach. We had noticed the sandy beach mentioned on the website and planned to spent much of our time during this HOT week swimming, but the pond is for fishing and paddle boats and not for swimming. Regardless, we still had a great time and feel that if there was a swimming option here, this place would be absolutely perfect.

This is a awesome RV Park. They have cabins for rent, paddle boats to use, great entertainment for kids and family, splash pad. Owners are the nicest people you'll ever meet. It's very well kept. If you haven't been there please try it out. You will go back. There is not a RV Park in miles that come close to the friendliness that you will get there. Thank you all for all you do for the campers.
