If no stars was an option I would be at 0. They did not attach my skid plate. It fell, bent and had to be replaced. This was confirmed by a seperate take 5 SAME DAY. It will be $500 to replace. They said they were going to start a claim never did, would not call me back. I physically went to the shop, they were closed doing normal business hours because the manager never showed up according to the 1 employee working. Save your money and take it to a dealership!

Was in a rush and I think I spent under 10 minutes here. Techs were very friendly and accommodating, was greeted with a bottle of water. Quick and efficient, while double checking their work the whole way through. Price is pretty standard, nothing too crazy. Recommend.

The speed is great... Glad they're able to perform as quickly as promised, but the cost is egregious.$80 for an oil change, and that's AFTER a $20Had I known beforehand, I absolutely wouldn't have come here. It's no wonder I couldn't find the prices anywhere online!

12/30/23I am so happy to have a Take 5 here on this side of CR! :)Went there for the first time to do my oil change. I got to use my $17 coupon they sent me via email. It wasn t as busy, so we were serviced pretty quickly. They saw that I had kids in the car and had some juice and fruit snacks to offer while we wait. Isaac was really helpful as well as his whole crew.Definitely recommend them if you haven t yet! They really have so much to offer at a great price

Extortionately priced. They did a fine job and were quick as advertised but the CHEAPEST option just for oil is $90 then they charge you extra for the filter as well. I paid $112 just for a standard oil change with the cheapest oil they offer. They also try and upsell you on every replaceable item and fluid they can get their hands on. If money isn t a factor and you just want the quickest option available, by all means, go to Take 5. Otherwise just go to Jiffy Lube or your local shop.

Went in for an oil change and got my oil filter changed as well. The employee's that worked on my car DID NOT REMOVE the rubber oil filter gasket from my old oil filter. Due to their negligence, they double sealed the new oil filter they put on and caused a terrible oil blow-out. Take 5 Oil Change should be ashamed, they don't even deserve one star. Do not go here if you care about your vehicle!!!

I came here to get my oil changed and loved it! I know nothing about cars, and they were never condescending about that fact and just took extra time to explain things easier. They were all super friendly and swift with the job. The only thing I will say is, it was more on the pricier side, but they can t really control those prices so I understand. It also helps they sometimes have coupons to help with that aspect. But overall it was a job well done and I ll definitely be back in another 5,000 miles:)

staff was friendly and process was easy to navigate. however they did tell me they couldn't perform all of the services because my vehicle is european and they don't typically work on european cars (i drive a volkswagen). so that was a little disappointing! the oil was a bit expensive too, $90 for their cheapest stuff. but the man walking me through the steps was very helpful and informative, overall i would recommend :)

I d highly recommend them! We didn t leave our car, it only took a few minutes and they provided us with bottled water. They re really friendly amd knowledgeable. Had a full synthetic oil change, air cleaner replaced and they were great! No need to go anywhere else I ll be giving them my business.

This place provided some of the best customer service I've had in a very long time! All three gentlemen working the day I visited were very professional, funny, and informative! I will definitely be returning for all future oil changes here.

I've had my vehicle service many times at a multitude of places. I have never had the outstanding service that I had at this place. They were knowledgeable they were courteous they were professional you answered all my questions. The products were excellent. And because I'm a veteran they gave me a veterans discount that was one of the best veterans discounts I've ever had. I will never take my vehicles any other place besides this Take five oil change. You guys earned my respect and all of my business along with that measly tip I gave you all to share. If I could give 10 stars to these people I would.

Decided to try Take 5 out. Did my oil change in a timely manner. Had a small issue the next day brought it back and Isaac did a wonderful job taking care of it! Great job to the Take 5 team!! Great customer service!

Amazing customer service, the best I have found in Cedar Rapids and at any oil change place I have gone to. Very complementary, and always make sure the customer is aware of what is being done, not doing extra service that the customer doesn t consent to first. Very high quality experience.

Incredible service.They didn't make me feel pressured, and they are extremely helpful. All other places would treat me horribly, but they didn't.Just needed a quick oil change for the incoming winter but I will for sure come back for other services next year.Laid-back yet professional. Loved it!They respectfully explain the services for more clarity.

Very friendly and fast service. It's nice to be able to just drive in and get your oil changed. I also received a new air filter and a free bottle of fuel system cleaner that they also put in for me.

I had taking my wive's Chevy Traverse LTZ to this location where Elliot and his 2 coworkers(forgive me for I can't remember there names) where very professional and polite. I was greeted with a bottle of water and they got me in very quickly and took the time to check both the cabin and motor filters in which both were bad and needed replaced. I explained that I only had so much money on me and they changed both filters, my oil and topped off My windshield wiper fluid also topped off my transmission fluid free other than my total which was discounted so they made sure that I had new filters. They definitely went above and beyond and I appreciated it very much! Would definitely recommend them to anyone!!! Thanks again guys and God Bless......Joshua

This place is amazing! They were friendly, professional and fast! Boy were they fast! And did I say polite? They were also very knowledgeable and offered other items I might need but not at all pushy! I will be back!

When performing the oil change the tech not only removed the dip stick but the entire dip stick housing that connects to the engine. This caused a short as the housing was set on top of my starter which means my vehicle would not start, i blew fuses, and ultimately had to pay another mechanic to replace the dip stick housing . The customer service was great but the oil change was one that will prevent me from ever visiting a Take 5 again. The techs need better training and the work performed should be double checked by another tech prior to the customer leaving. Had we not caught it right away, this small issue could have created much, much bigger issues. Do better Take 5, do better.

They did a great job. Very friendly. Only complaint which is out of their control, is PRICE! Cost $156 for oil change with no other add-ons and this was for the middle of the line oil. My Yukon does take 8qts but I was getting Mobile1 oil at dealership and cost was $120 for Mobile1 here would ve been$180, this is insane for a place that gets Bulk prices. Time to start doing my own oil changes again.

The service and friendliness of the staff was great. I have one complaint about the store on Edgewood Rd near JC Penny. I pulled in and waited 30 min before a gentleman came out a said they were shutting down for an hour to take a break. I didn t have a lot of time and then I had to drive to the other side of town to get an oil change. It would ve been nice if they at least said something before I sat there for that long.

Take 5 is my new favorite oil change place Elliot, James And Robert are the most professional, outstanding people they did my oil change in under 8 minutes and I was even greeted with a water! I will definitely come back and get my oil changed again I love this place they all love there jobs and you can tell!

Expensive. Workers kept trying to up sell me on extra services after I stated I only wanted an oil change multiple times. By the time I knew the price of the oil change, $97 after tax (the cheapest available), they had already been moving stuff around under my hood for 15 minutes.

My car (2011 Ford Fusion) will ding at me when my oil is at 5% and needs to be changed. Well that time came yesterday.I pulled up to the new Take 5 in Cedar Rapids after leaving work a bit early. There wasn t a line at all.I was clearly directed into a bay and was quickly taken care of by Jake.All instructions were clear, and service was extremely positive. The only issue the guys had; getting my air filter clicked back in.Pricing is comparable to other oil change place, and I didn t have to get out of my car (that s a new plus for me).I highly recommend Take 5!

As a college kid, I usually change my oil myself but I needed it done quickly and I was on the way to the store anyway. Super amazing service, all very polite. They explained everything well and didn t try to push extra purchases which I really appreciate. I ll definitely go again!

Great chain oil change experience. Honest and friendly service with an actual smile and frequent updates on timing. They do have the usual pitches for value added stuff and upcharges. Not overbearing though on the pressure, which is nice. Prices are good and they warn you about coupons (i had mine ready, but was nice to have them offer on their own). Prices are a little more than the fast spiffy oil place but experience is way better. Some of the standouts: NOT HAVING TO GET OUT OF YOUR CAR! Low pressure sales tactics, water bottle, frequent updates on expectations/timing, top off service included (free fluid top offs during your oil change window, they say no questions asked, but will have to see) also NO need for appointment.I would give 4.5 stars if i could, can't give 5 stars because of the pricing and marketing of the oils, but great people and service puts it above the others in the chain oil change business.Service: Oil change

All I can say is wow! I have to be honest when I seen these young men I said to my daughter what do they Know about oil changes and cars, they re fresh out of high school lol let me tell you don t let their youth fool you. These young men know what they are doing. I was pleased with the level of customer service. They greet you with a smile offer you a bottle of water explain their packets to you. I was speechless. They gave me fast quality, knowledgeable service. They took the time to explain everything that they were doing and answer any questions that I had. How refreshing in this day and time.
