The workers here are GREAT! I love the concept- I get to stay in my car and work and get my oil change done they are very thorough and friendly! Give you a water, wash your windows, check your wiper blades/fluids and just all around a great experience

Great experience. In and out quickly with really nice service. Soft upsell with relevant items (worn wipers, dirty filter, etc) but not high pressure. Very purposeful process gives confidence in efficiency.They didn't offer water this time, didn't realize I would miss that!The only complaint is the prices. They've gone up , apparently because they don't offer the oil I got last time.But I imagine that's corporate.The value is they offer 6 months? of fluid top offs and tire inflation no questions asked, just stop in. (And don't get out of your car).Nice place to get oil change.Five stars minus one for pricing, but added back for the extra services.

Great place to get your oil changed. I felt that the owner and employees really cared about me and getting the right service for my vehicle. Due to going a little bit too long without an oil change, my car was starting to sputter and make other strange noises I thought were due to a faulty exhaust system. My car literally sounded better after the oil change. So, I definately recommend these guys!

I m not one to leave reviews often but I was blown away today by how amazing my experience way with take 5. The manager Jesus was awesome and his crew seemed to work together as a team which got me and my kiddos out the door quick. We were greeted with juice boxes and fruit snacks. They were reasonably priced and I didn t have to get out of my vehicle. (Which for any mom is a plus). They also changed out my air filter and checked the air in my tires. I was there for less than 10 minutes. Great communication skills, Hospitality, and work done.

Save your money and go to an actual mechanic shop, this place deals in a lot of shady business. Customers are told that the economy Oil is no longer an option when they have the economy Oil in stock. Products will be forced on the customer and their prices are too high as it is.The cheapest Oil change they "offer" is 92$ after tax.And to top it off the Employees are treated poorlyI do not recommend this place to anyone

Worst oil change ever. They left my radiator cap off and water blew out all over my engine now.My cooling light is going on in my Vehicle. Also where they put the oil filter on.They didn't put it on tight enough because now there is oil leaking all over my alternator. Went down there to have them rectify the situation.And I was told that I was SOL. They were very rude and inconsidthat now i'm going to have to pay thousands of dollars to fix their problem. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. They mess up your vehicle and then they do not accept responsibility for it

Negative stars if possible. The incapable techs on Edgewood rd in Cedar Rapids are just ridiculous. $92 for an oil change and I leave with a bent up skid plate because they didn t put it back on correctly. As it drug across the oil bay as they were guiding me out, I stopped. The tech looked at me like I was stupid and then looked at his other tech and said hey you left her skid plate down . The other tech then screamed at me saying it was like that when I came in and that I was just being a problem. I asked to speak to a manager about it and they said the manager was out and didn t know when they would be back. They then gave me a phony customer service number to call that ended up being just an out of service number. So I tried calling their shop phone, no one ever answers. I tried calling corporate and customer service and all I get is the option to leave a detailed message. I have left multiple detailed messages just asking for a call back and they can t even pick up a phone or send an email. I filed a complaint with the BBB in hopes that maybe someone will be professional enough to reach out and just ask what happened. Not asking for a hand out, I can buy a $30 skid plate myself. But your techs are rude and incompetent. They re going to mess up the wrong persons car one day who isn t going to be as nice. They also REFUSED to give military discount that I have always gotten with my key tag that was given to me the very first time I got my oil change there. Please take your vehicles elsewhere. Anywhere but here! They will mess your vehicle up and refuse to take any responsibility for it.

Fun crew -- several in training -- manager patient and VERY focused on no details being missed as they worked as a team. Liked the soft sell on additional things -- another location puts too much energy into that vs giving me an experience I will want to repeat like this team did.

Showed up at 7:30am on Thursday this week and was treated like Royalty. Guys were quick thorough and very pleasant to deal with.No doubt that I will be giving them my business form here on out.

The Staff was extremely friendly and professional!!!! 9+ rating!!!But the pricing is ridiculous!!!And it s pretty Sneaky not to post prices until your already in the building and over the changing well!!!! List $$$ Online $84.99 is the lowest charge then of course add ons!!!! $10.99 per extra Qt!!! (even if only use 1/2!!!)Better get that more reasonable to the Local or it could be vacant soon!!!Better that great staff be super busy at a Better Deal than the other 8 Oil Change places located around that area!!!Than twiddling fingers because of greedy corporation profits (?)(!)

Keith, Rick, Aaron, and Preston were all awesome. Great sense of humor and very knowledgeable. They didn't mind my husband asking 20 questions either. Yeah, a bit pricey, but the service and products are worth it.

First time I went there it was great and there was a lady that was working there and she was fantastic at explaining to me my options the second time the guy forgot to charge me and I had to come back and then this time they asked who did my oil change last and I said you guys did and they said oh do you remember what he looked like so something was obviously wrong no idea as they wouldn t talk about it. It s expensive and not sure they are doing what they are supposed to now. Kind of worried to go back and have heard other concerns

Service was great but the price over shadows everything else. I only came over here today because Walmart was super busy. I normally pay between 50-60 dollars for Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil change they wanted 125.00 for that their base oil change was still 90.00 absolutely ridiculous. The check list, other than the oil change itself nothing else was done even though it said it was. Again I'm sitting in the car, I see everything you are doing. I will wait next time before ever coming back here. Lol their response is AI generated and didn't even address the issues. Goes to show how much they care. Definitely won't be using them ever. Customers beware.

I had to get my oil changed so I could make a long distance family emergency trip. The employees were compassionate and so quick. They even gave my son a juice box for our emotional trip. Will only go to them going forward. Thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism.

The staff was great. The timing was good. They got me in and out within the time they promised. The only thing about this business is that they CHARGE a lot for an oil change. I'll probably use them maybe once a year when I don't wanna to do my own oil change.Other than that, it was aight.

My wife took in the car to get a oil change and when I got home I found that the skid plate was dragging on the ground. It looked like they removed the hardware to do the service and then reattached with zip ties instead of the bolts. She said she went back to tell them and they screamed at her saying it was like that already. (Which it was not) will never go back. Did more damage then good and very rude customer service. Tried to ask for manager and they said there wasn t one. Called the customer service line and no one answered. Left a message and got nothing back.

Very disappointed with this place. Went there to get my oil changed on my truck. Staff was fairly welcoming and changed my oil. Went home and the next morning I went to get in my truck and noticed a pool of oil. Oil was leaking from the oil filter. So now I have oil stains on my driveway I went back, which was inconvenient and goes against the whole idea of fast and convenient oil change. The staff changed the filter, made sure it was tight this time, and added oil. I asked for a manager and they said he was gone and to call in about an hour. So I called later asked for the manager. I explained what happened and asked if he could give me a discount off of my oil change being that I had to make another trip back to the shop. He said he would give me a discount on my next visit. I told him that I don t think I will be coming back after what happened and requested a discount off my current oil change and the manager hung up on me. Could not believe it. If this is how unprofessional this place is I will have to take my business elsewhere. Also, the posted prices are only for a specific amount of oil so you end up spending a lot more. I paid $133 for my oil change which is very high!I went in with high hopes but ended up getting very disappointed.

They do quality service, don t get me wrong . But it irritates the hell out of me when you ask for the economy oil change and they try to tell you the premium oil change is $20 off and that makes it cheaper, no it does not. It s still $20 more expensive than the cheap one I hate suggestive selling in the first place, It s even worse when you lie to me.

I usually do full synthetic oil on my vehicles. Stopped by today for an oil change, was told they were out of full synthetic oil, but didn t mind the $15 dollar off coupon; it was well worth it, as prices are up in our economy.Also the convenience of not getting out of your car is great!Smooth, easy transaction and great customer service. I ll be back!

I would not recommend these guys! I got and oil change and a coolant change. When I left my car was idling funny and the next day I had an engine error, 4wd error and a traction error. I took it back to them and Preston told me to take it to auto zone and get a copy of the error code and then have them clear the error. Auto zone informed me that that was illegal. The gentleman at Auto Zone told me it was a Mass air flow sensor and then noticed that Preston forgot to connect back up my hose and if Iwould have drove on it anymore that it would have blown my engine!!. I will never go back to Take 5!!!!

Second time using. Super friendly, very polite. Immediately got to work and had previous preferences saved. Offered a drink for myself and even my younger one in the back while we wait. The most impressive thing is that they show you/verify with you things like your oil level after they change it, show you your filters so you can make your own decisions, and don t push products or up charges. Filled up our tires and washed our windows for no extra charge. They very clearly gave directions about when to start it or what to press when needed. Will be coming back for the next one!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

It was a little pricey, but so worth it. I was in and out in 15 minutes, and the staff was wonderful. Not pushy on upsale, but pointed out a few things that could use replaced. Very friendly, will for sure be back!

The service was awesome, two thumbs up! I needed to get my oil changed at the last minute and they had me in and out in minutes not hours like other places. They were very professional and not pushy like other places can be. Amazing place to go for oil change, never going back to jiffy lube again! They were very friendly and were helpful in explaining the different options and pricing. All the employees were friendly and outgoing. They showed me some damage that jiffy lube had done to my oil drain plug. Jiffy lube had almost completely stripped out the screw! They replaced my oil drain plug free of charge! Overall the experience was amazing and I will never go anywhere else!

It was good but the guys said you didn't have any antifreeze to top off and the new price hike took it way out of a good price to get a affordable oil change.
