Great experience. Jim Willett was very friendly. The car was spotless. I took it on a couple test drives and to a mechanic to get it checked out and there were no surprises. Mr. Willett said they make it a point to only put good road-worthy vehicles on their lot, and my 2011 Honda CR-V is just that. Had a problem with the back driver-side door - like child safety lock wouldn t disengage. They worked me in and got it taken care of for me. Car runs great, looks great, and I got a good price on it. Highly recommend this place. A friendly, honest salesman helps ease the worry of buying a used car. And who can t love a shop with a big sweet dog for a greeter!

Recently got new tires at Road Runner. I couldn t have asked for better service and pricing. They were very knowledgeable and made sure the tires we were getting fit our needs. Jim and Cindy were great to work with and who doesn t love an office dog like Lucy to keep you company while you wait. Thanks again Road Runner!

Purchased a Honda CRV and had a wonderful experience from the first contact with Jim through the sale closing. If Roadrunner has a vehicle you want, do not hesitate to talk to Jim. After doing our research online, Jim had a very fair price on the vehicle we wanted and allowed us to have it independently inspectedWe really appreciated the Carfax being done already and the VIN available to research. The entire experience couldn't have been better!

I only went to test drive a car, and not buy one! From the minute I walked in, Lauren and Jim made me feel very comfortable, like I had just come to visit family. They entertained all my questions (even roping their mechanic, Craig, in), let me test out two vehicles, which ultimately changed my mind on the vehicle that would be best for me. Buying a car is a stressful and scary experience, especially for this single woman, but I never felt uneasy here! I drove away with a fantastic vehicle, at a great price, and I hope everyone who reads this goes to check out Roadrunner Auto's inventory first. Overall, my experience with Jim and Craig has been positive. I bought a Toyota Corolla LE September 2023. Let's preface this by saying a used car will never be perfect and the crew will probably not know everything wrong with vehicles on the lot. I drove off the lot, and 30 miles later a check engine light came on. Toyota services noted that it had been cleared 3 miles before driving it off the lot. Jim denied any knowledge of the check engine light when I talked to him and he was defensive about it.Thankfully the item at question was economically not that expensive. Cylinder pressure is healthy, interior is in excellent condition, and no paint bubbles yet. Here are few things that were missed - plate bulbs out, solenoid replacement, back passenger window not working, a small leak in an axle boot, and cold start chain slap. Overall though, better shape than most used vehicles at 150,000 miles.Jim has been willing to work with me in repairing some mechanical issues and even gave me a loaner vehicle for the day while working on it. This alone should allow consideration when dealing with this dealership.I also think his selection of vehicles is one of the better ones in Cedar Rapids, being that he collects a lot of Toyotas, Hondas, and Lexus, and has a preference for clean luxury interiors. One could certainly buy worse.

Very happy to have driven almost 3 hours to grab a nice used Toyota Camry. Jim and his family were great to work with, and I enjoyed conversing with them about stuff not even related to buying a car. I can tell they enjoy working together and serving their customers.The car I bought for my 16 year old daughter is a solid vehicle and was very clean. This helped make the buying experience for my daughter a very positive one.Also, how can one go wrong buying from people that love dogs as much as many people do?Thank you again!

Had a great experience getting my car from Jim. He's very personable, no nonsense but has a great sense of humor. They also have one of the most adorable big old dogs I've ever seen. Looking at his inventory he knows what cars are worth selling and he lets the product speak for itself.

I purchased a 2013 van from Road Runner one month ago and have already had to have it towed in for repairs costing over $2,000.00. The transmission has numerous leaks in it and now the heat has gone out. The estimate to have the heat fixed is another $600.00. These are issues that would have been known to the mechanic prior to selling me the van. I m very disappointed that I was sold a van with this many issues.

I bought a 2006 camry and I'm very pleased with it . I thought Jim and his wife were super friendly and helpful. And they also have a goodmechanic if you need any service.

Justin has been very helpful over the past few months after our purchase of a used car from them. His after-the-sale service as well as the staff and mechanics helpfulness there has been over-the-top and much better than expected! With a few minor repairs needed right after the sale, they all sent out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. Also, he has been a great resource for a major repair that cropped up, months after the sale and put us in touch with a reasonable mechanic. Realizing that we are buying a USED car, things will happen and they could have just written us off - NOT SO will Justin and crew. Wonderful to work with if you ever need any assistance after the sale, they will be more than happy to make it right, all you do is call.

Took my Subaru into their shop, not only EXCELLENT customer service, but extremely knowledgeable service dept. They took the time to explain to me the issues, what needed to be fixed and explained why, as well as they were much cheaper than anyone else I received quotes from. Gal at front desk was friendly and helpful with all of my questions. Will definitely go back.

I've had my daughter's car repaired here twice (separate issues) and have had nothing but great experience with Road Runner. These guys are fair and offer fantastic service. A very rare find (an honest repair shop). I highly recommend Road Runner.

I can t recommend Jim and Road Runner enough!! I was browsing cars, came across a cute Kia that I fell in love with. I called Jim and he immediately went to work getting me financed and two days later I picked up my new car! It was so easy and painless and I am OBSESSED with my new car! This was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had.

Our experience while we were at the dealership was great. Very friendly atmosphere seemed easy to deal with. No issues at all until we got the car home. It was at our house less than 2 hours and we couldn't get it to start. I am 14 yrs old and my dad is buying this for my first car. We assumed it was a battery so we looked at the battery and it is dated 7/16 so doubtful to be the problem. Dad called them and informed them a stop payment was being put on the check used to pay for it until we are satisfied. More to come this may turn out to be a positive experience yet.

100% SATISFACTION! I never thought that I would be able to walk into a car dealership that didn't bombard me with pushy sales people who pull every trick in the book to get me to buy and take advantage of the fact that I'm alone without a man! As soon as I walked in I was treated with class and respect, able to look around on my own time and for the first time in my life, the salesman actually listened to what I had to say and stayed within my price range. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this buying experience was! I left with an amazing deal and a new friend. The car was immaculate and the dealership does its own servicing and maintenance of vehicles. I'll continue to return for all services because I know that I'll be taken care of and I trust the establishment. I couldn't be happier with my purchase - I got an amazing deal, treated with respect and I'll keep coming back! Thanks so much Jim! You rock!

My fianc� and I just bought a Cadillac SRX for myself, and we could not have had a better experience here. First of all, I got significantly more for my trade-in than I thought I would--how often does that happen?! Uh, never! My fianc� has purchased several vehicles in the past from the "big" dealers in town, which he always dreaded doing, so needless to say he was not excited to go car shopping. He couldn't stop telling me how painless and stress-free this purchase was, mostly because Roadrunner's staff is NOT pushy in the slightest. They let us look on our own instead of jumping down our throats just to try and make a sale, and when we had questions they were more than willing to answer them. They are trustworthy and were completely forthcoming and honest about their vehicles. They clearly try their hardest to achieve customer satisfaction, even going the extra mile to order me another car key without me even asking. Anyone who claims to have a less than positive experience is clearly not right in the head, because they are easily the best dealer in Cedar Rapids! Believe me, you don't want to go anywhere else!!! Thanks, Roadrunner, we love our new ride!

Called to check availability of a vehicle for my wife. Went in the same day and checked it over and went on a road test. For a 2004, it is a very clean and quality car. Sat down and had no hassle doing paperwork. Total time to show up and leave with a new car was less than an hour. Very professional.

I looked online for a vehicle because being a woman alone, I had no clue where to start. A vehicle on the Road Runner lot came up so I called for an appointment. I went in as a customer, but left the first day feeling more like family. The owners did NOT apply any pressure for me to buy a certain vehicle OR to even buy one. The 2nd or 3rd day of looking I made a decision to purchase the 2nd vehicle I looked at. The paperwork went smoothly. I totally had a positive experience here and felt I had been treated very fairly! Buying? You certainly can't go wrong here!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS!!! So I gave these guys a good review at first but now I completely am taking that back. They knowingly sold me a van that was not safe for my family and has tons of mechanical issues. I have had the van now 4 months and decided that before going on any road trips with it this summer I should get it inspected to make sure it s ready. Well thank god I took it in because I found out that not only is it not safe for any road trip but it needs about $3200 in work done to it and I got 2 opinions just to be sure. They also said there is no way that the mechanic there at roadrunner wouldn t have noticed these issues so they had to of known about all the problems when they sold it to me. I do not trust these guys and would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

Great dealer! They worked with us on getting the best car within our budget - never haggling about price - which was under book value. We bought the car and they were incredibly responsive to making sure everything was perfect. Tyler was awesome!

I can't Express how great of a dealership this place is. Not only do they have a great selection of quality running vehicles but they also have top notch customer service. They make you feel like family and always take care of you. I will always come here for any other vehicles i purchase in the future and will definitely recommend them to everyone i speak to.

Do not buy from them. When I decided to purchase my vehicle from them I noticed that the Power Steering was tight on left turns. I addressed it and they sold it as just how AWD works. So while at Firestone buying tires I asked for an Oil Change and inspection. Found out that the Power Steering Rack needs replacing and it cost me $1400 bucks. Reputable they're not. Great sales people only. I was sold.... DON'T BUY FROM THEM.

Bought I 2011 outback 3 weeks ago and have had to take it back 3 times the car overheated 20 mins after we left the lot the day we bought it. Tomorrow I will have to take it back again for the 4th time. Every time they keep it to fix something when I get it back something else malfunctions. I ve talked to the owner one time and he basically rushed me out of there instead of talking with me. I would walk before I got another car from them. I ve had the loaner car more than the one I bought. If their technician repairs something take it somewhere else and have an inspection done by another mechanic

Great experience with the purchase of a vehicle. Being from Des Moines, I called and asked them to "walk me around" the car prior to driving to see it. They represented it perfectly and did not waste my time. The price was fair and the transaction was quick and easy. I will check their inventory next time I need a car.

We bought a car from here, at first the brakes were a little squeaky but the salesman chocked it up to rainy weather, and the fact that it had been sitting in the lot for so long. We asked if there was any maintenance it needed (other than the basics,) since the car was priced a bit below kbb, they said no. Our mechanic had to install a new sway bar, as well as 2 new struts after about month of driving it. We kept hearing an obnoxious clunk any time we hit the most minor of bumps in the road. Upon his examination, he was the one who suggested it looks like the struts were greased up to temporarily prevent any rattling. Very disappointed that this information was withheld from us. Beware of buying a car from this dealership, as I heard bad stories from my friends, but I guess we just had to find out for ourselves.

Wish I would have taken the car to a mechanic before buying. During the first test drive we noticed the brakes were grinding just a tad. Asked them to fix and we had a deal so they threw new pads on. On test drive to confirm the brakes were done we noticed a small creak in the front when going over a bump but then never heard it again while we were driving it. We just purchased the car in June and over the past few months the creak is gotten worse, louder etc. The vehicle needs suspension work, has broken sway bar links and a possible wheel bearing issue. This is gonna cost thousands to repair for a car I am making payments on.

Be careful.. I recommend you have a mechanic look at the vehicle, take it to the Autozone down the street, drive around until ANY services lights come on.(takes about 2 1/2 hours since the car might been sitting for a while/turned off.) I didn't like how they wanted me to bring the car back, leaving me voicemails(I am running tests).. Now you have me thinking.Are you hiding something?? Yup!! ABS light comes on & traction control. Pull the car back in the lot, the owner comes out ask me how did I like it, then walks away. Over and over again while I'm doing a walk around inspection looking for oil leaks, under the hood, etc. He lied about about the wheel bearings saying it was "rust in the sensor." I dont know, he thought he was talking to a dummy or something. Its a cheap fix. I did my research on parts, labor, the whole nine yards!!! So just be careful with these guys here.

this place deserves zero stars. i filled out a credit app for a suv they had and they said they were gonna get right back to me few days later still nothing from them. then i see on there website it says SOLD so i sent them an email asking about it and they txt me back saying sorry we sold it to someone else. what a great way to run a business. i asked if they ran my credit and they said no we did not, what kind of people are running this place SCUM OF THE EARTH RIGHT HERE
