Got my starter and muffler replaced and they did a great job! They schedule the repair, called with estimates before starting work and got it done when they said they would. Most other place took longer or couldn t say when they could get to it. ProfessionalMuffler is just better organized and does good work. They even have an antique Pepsi machine that works.

Jeff fixed a problem that others couldn't figure out. He wouldn't give up. Saved me real money that a dealership would have charged to just look at it, and then not be able to figure out the problem. Jeff is the best mechanic in Cedar Rapids / Marion area!

Great to work with! They did an excellent job with the muffler work that I needed and didn't charge me for extra unnecessary work. Despite being busy and shorthanded that day, they got finished with the work faster than expected and went over the top with service to make sure I could get back to work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Professional Muffler!

I was there today (12/6/23) to have my car examined for a hole in the pipe near the resonator. My mechanic (Tom @ 12th St. Repair) had recommended Professional Muffler. I was very pleased with the service I got today. I was upfront with them and told them I was on a fixed income, so the cheapest repair option they had would be the best. They gave me the estimate first and told me the part was in stock, so if I wanted it fixed today, it'd take about 45 minutes. It wasn't as expensive as I was worried it would be, so I told them to go ahead with it. They were all very friendly and my car was fixed fast. It runs so much quieter now. Professional Muffler has a customer for life in me!

Best service I have ever had anywhere!! Seth was absolutely more helpful then a customer could wish for. Service was accurate, fast and more then friendly. Excellent sales & service by fast and friendly team members! I had the exhaust welded at a few points that were leaking and both rear shocks replaced. I always like that they bring you into the garage while the vehicle is up on the lift and show you what needs to be done. I could easily see the leaking exhaust and broken shock. Fair price>

Had an exhaust leak on my car by the catalytic converter, not cheap on a Toyota. Initial estimate I knew it was going to be over 1k to fix. The team there got me fixed up for under 600 bucks. Been using them for years, and this is why. They're professionals and know how to get the job done, and not hit the customer hard on the repair. Great service as always.Service: Exhaust

Went in because my heat shield on my muffler broke and was sitting on the muffler rattling they pulled it in reattached it and didn t charge me nothing for doing it. I always go to Professional Muffler for all my exhaust needs and would recommend them to anyoneService: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I have gone to Professional Muffler several times for various reasons and they are always friendly, quick and affordable. This time my muffler was getting loud and so my wife ran the errand and took it in. The back part of the pipe came off so he just quickly welded it back on and didn't charge us anything. Had several others reccomend Professional Muffler so I took my van in for the first time a couple of weeks ago. They got me right in and assessed my vehicle concerns. They thoroughly explained everything and actually showed me the work that needed to be done. Very positive atmosphere, feel like trustworthy people/company(which is hard to come by these days). They did repairs which ended up fixing another issue that I'd been having with the van. Happy with service and will be back for future needs. Thank you guys!

I have gotten my AC and muffler fixed here, and had a great experience both times. Very friendly people, did a nice job of explaining what was wrong, pricing was well communicated as was how long it would take to fix. Prices seem very good. I will continue to take my car here and would recommend to others as well.

Professional Muffler was able to get me in the same day I called, to assess my exhaust system and offer an estimate to repair the problem, despite the fact that they were quite busy and short staffed. I made an appointment and returned 2 days (they had to order parts for the best price) later to have my exhaust system replaced. They did a fantastic job, and I would recommend Professional Muffler (Collins Road location) to anyone.

I had a good review on here until I really looked closely at the exhaust repair done . I had them replace the spring bolt joint. Well, the two pipes to be joined are two different sizes, which I explained over the phone. The one side is 2 1/4 and the other side is 2 inches. They welded the 2 1/4 side correctly to a 2 1/4 fitting. But, they didn't weld the 2 inch side correctly. They used a 2 1/4 fitting to the 2 inch pipe. Just filling in the 1/4 inch gape with weld. They should have had a 2 inch fitting on hand, and used it. This is not a correct repair. The welds we're not good at all. They should practice welding on scrap metal, not customers exhaust systems. They have very young people working here. Not happy with this repair at all.Service: Exhaust

I got an appointment right away, the work was completed quickly and was affordable, and the customer service was outstanding! The technician even invited me into the garage and showed me exactly what was wrong and explained how it was going to be fixed. The guys were super friendly and helpful here. They gave an estimate before doing any work, and also kept me updated on what they were doing, popped out to say I need a new air filter. We had our radiator replaced last year in our van here at a competitive price. I checked 4 places and they were the least expensive. This year we were losing coolant and I brought it back for them to check out. No fuss, they warrantied the radiator at no cost and the work was done the day of diagnosis! Very honest and courteous people work here. Definitely recommend.

Very honest and trust worthy. Brought my car in for an exhaust leak. Jeff one of the techs quickly pointed out the problem that I had a cracked flex pipe and offered to replace it the same day I walked in. Very rarely that happens in most cases else where. I have been going to these guys for the past 18 years. I am always satisfied with their work. Conveniently located off Collins Road. I can drop off at night or early in the morning with their secure key drop box. I feel pricing is fair and often more affordable then some of the other places around town. I have never had to bring back any vehicle unlike a place recently I will leave nameless. I will always choose professional muffler for my car repair needs. Thanks Professional Muffler!

This has been my go-to place for some time for just about any vehicle needs. They're quick to get me in around my work schedule, and clearly communicate what they're going to do and what I should expect for a bill. When they've found issues that will need my attention in the near future, like poor tire rods, they'll give a heads up and ask to go ahead and take care of it. They also provide coverage for the pricier work, so if any problems crop up after the fact, they will take care of it. If you haven't been satisfied with where you get your vehicle worked on, I would absolutely recommend Professional Muffler.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Battery, Oil change

I have been taking my vehicles here for 5-6 years, and have had top-quality service every time. They have always been upfront about how long a job will take, have always provided the cost upfront before beginning work, and only performed the work requested after reviewing the costs. The work has always been on time, and at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend this shop for any automotive service.

I walked in without an appointment, just hoping to get my leaking exhaust looked at and to see what it would take to fix it. I walked out less than 90 mins later with a fixed exhaust. One of the mechanics-I think his name is tom- walked me out into their shop so I could see exactly what needed to be fixed. Never had that experience at the dealership! I will definitely go back and would definitely recommend!Service: Exhaust

I came in there unsure of how much it was gonna cost me to fix a hole in the muffler. I left very satisfied and with a much quieter truck. Justin and Alex did an awesome job. I needed a new muffler put on my Uplander and after shopping around my decision was easy to go to Professional Muffler in Marion. They did not try to up-sale me, they did the work I asked for in a timely and professional manner. They kept me posted during the repair and had me on my way quickly. Oh I forgot to mention that they were the cheapest of everyone that I looked into. I would highly recommend them to you!!

Tom from Professional Muffler was personable, funny, and kind. He made me feel right at home from my initial call for information, follow up call for scheduling, and finally making it in. He gave me sound advice and treated me exactly how I hoped to be treated. I can't recommend them enough. My total was way less than I had expected when he told me how much everything would cost. I know, now, what several businesses meant when they recommended Professional Muffler when I'd inquired about what my noises could be - "They'll treat you right." I heard every time someone suggested them. Side note: my car was so much quieter when I got in after they were done that I thought it hadn't turned over to start so I turned my key again! Embarrassing but true... Anyhow, I'm done rambling. Go give them a try and experience their quality care for yourself!
