The guys here have always explained things to me so I can understand them. They take good care of my 09 Mitsubishi Eclipse and the mechanic is honest with me. They work with me so I can make the decisions best for me and my budget. I ve been going to them for at least a decade and I won t go anywhere else.

If you worry about what type of service you would receive from a company you have not used before, you are not alone. I trusted this one place with doing a light repair so we could leave for Texas. They cobbled together a dangerous combination of parts that failed the day after I picked up my motorhome.That day of a valve stem failing was Thanksgiving. Of course the holiday had all shops closed. FRIDAY morning POMP'S fit me in. Temps were in the single digits and they were closing at noon, but the man on the phone said " can you bring it to us or do you need us to come to you?" I told them that the bad valve stem would allow air to go in the 22.5 size tire but would go flat in 5 minutes. I was 10 minutes from them and when I pulled up they had a door opening for me. Less than an hour later, I was told I was "all set. All the tires were checked and aired up to 110 lbs. each. The used, worn out parts the other place put on were plain garbage. POMP'S made room for me in their tight holiday schedule and the service charge was more than reasonable.If you need to put all new rubber on your vehicle, POMP'S IS THE PLACE TO GO. They are a full service, one stop shop.OVER A DOZEN STATES HAVE A POMP'S LOCATION AS YOU TRAVEL TOO.Sincerely.....they are the ones you can trust to give you quality all around.Products and Service are #1. It feels good to have such an A1 business in Cedar Rapids.Bob

I stopped in as the low tire sensor was on for all of my tires. I knew it was due to the cold however I had attempted to fill myself at a couple of stations who didn't have air available. We spent a lot of money at Pomps this year with buying tires for multiple vehicles so I went there for help. The gentleman was nice when I arrived. I explained that the valve stem caps were in my cup holder. When they were done, they charged me for the service!! nothing was mentioned prior about cost and I could've went to many other tire places for free. Not to mention after getting home I was charged for supplies.. assuming it was the valve stem caps that they put on & left mine in the cup holder. Again, no discussion of the charges.

Had a nail in my tire another shop wasn't able to fix, tried to sell me all new tires and exaggerated the condition. Dan at Pomp's was able to not only patch my tire but give me peace of mind by letting me know my tires are not in as bad of condition as I thought. The honesty and willingness to help will definitely make me a return customer! Thanks Dan!

I always go to Pomps out on 16th Ave SW in Cedar Rapids. The guys at the front desk always treat me nicely and I do not feel they are trying to rip me off ever. Have gone to this place even when had different name and always good reliable and helpful service. Good guys.

I ordered 4 new tires for my vehicle and I was able to have them mounted and balanced and aligned for a great price. They were finished with the job earlier than expected as well. I was a little apprehensive to try them because they changed ownership since I bought tires the last time but I talked to one of the sales people about it and he seemed happy with the transition. I would definitely recommend Pomps.

They took a bad situation from another tire shop & fixed the problem explaining everything & at fair prices. I would highly recommend them for all your tire, alignment & other vehicle needs honest and helpful!!!

These guys at the 16th Avenue store are amazing. Dave and Jay at the front desk are amazing. The service guys are absolutely wonderful. Thanks for fixing my van and making the loud humming noise go away. Thanks guys. As always we will be back.I was having issues with my rear brakes that were less than a year old and they took care of getting them fixed under warranty. Great place and people to work with.

After encountering a board/nail on the road with limited time before work, Pomp's was able to work me in for a repair. I was intending to replace my four bald tires within the next week and fortunately they had a set of four in stock that they were able to install. That saved me from having to schedule another visit and I still made it to work on time.

The custom service at the 16th Ave location is TOP TIER. I have been going to this business over 14 yrs and they Always treat me with the utmost respect. The staff is absolutely amazing. I also can't say enough about not having integrity. I asked for a new battery 1 time because it was 5 yrs old and assumed it needed it. They didn't replace it because it wasn't necessary. They told me they tested it and I didn't need it done. They could have easily changed it knowing that. That was yrs ago and made me respect them and trust them. I won't go anywhere else. I tell Everyone about my excellent experiences there. The guys at the counter are amazing to everyone that walks in the door.They deserve a raise imo.

I believe they do a great job on their customers vehicles. They don't try and make extra money off of you. They just tell you what's nessa Cary at the time and if you do have other issues they'll nicely address it so your aware of the problem.(s) . I also like how their able to get you in at a decent time and your not waiting days to be serviced.
