Such a honest and trustworthy auto service is truly hard to find! Great service and gets your vehicle back on the road in no time. Jim is such a great guy, he is humble , honest, and helpful besides knowing his stuff. Who needs a hairdresser to talk to when you have him! seriously he is superb!

Dishonest clowns. Thank goodness I only went in to purchase a set of tires and not one of the clapped out cars in their lot. The tires were falsely advertised and one had a massive hole. It's places like this that give used car salesmen a bad rap.

Always trustworthy and great service at a fair price. I would recommend 100%. Definitely worth calling or stopping in for a 2nd opinion when needing work. They have saved me thousands of dollars by being upfront and honest.

Best repair place anywhere. I've been going there since Jim's father Frank ran the place. They stand behind their work, they are honest and affordable. That's hard to find. They also sell used cars. I have bought many used cars from them through the years. So they are not one of those places that buys cars from an auction, don't do anything to them, and just try to flip them for more money. If they buy cars from an auction, they always fix everything that they can figure out. So you should be able to drive a car off the lot without any problems. I, personally, have never had any problems with any of the cars I've bought there.

bought a car from him and its junk. 2 weeks after getting it, I took it in for a strange noise and they told me the brakes were rusted out. replaced them without my consent and charged me $250. I'm the 4th generation to go to Novaks and none of us will ever go back. Beware of this shop!

Call Novak first. Two other shops in town would not give me any idea how much they were going to charge for what was clearly a leaky water pump. They would only tell me their hourly rate. They would not tell me how much this repair cost other people in the past. Not only did Novak give me an estimate over the phone, assuming the water pump was the problem, they finished the work below their estimated cost and on time so I could complete my travel.

Sad to say that after over 40 years we can no longer recommend this business to anyone. Our family (going back to the 1950's) have always gone to Novak's, until now when our single daughter traded her car for one on their lot. She discovered the brakes were bad so she took it back to them....they fixed the brakes (after owning the car for 2 weeks) and charged her $250 without checking with her first. When she confronted the owner about this, he said she could have 2 free oil changes or $60. He wouldn't refund the money they should have spent in the first place to sell a SAFE car! I also need to mention that our daughter has a 2 year old son. Selling anyone, much less a single mother, a car with bad brakes is too much. I can't think that any of the mechanics or the owners would be happy if their daughter was sold a car with bad brakes. Our daughter trusted them.

My family is also a multiple generation user of Novak's for service. My Dad never took his car to anyone else. Just recently spent half of my Friday of vacation, instead of heading out of town as planned, to test drive some cars on their lot and pick one for my college daughter. My husband found a truck at the same time that was new to Novak's so it wasn't quite ready for sale. They were in the process of working on the truck brakes, so we told them we were interested in purchasing both, called the bank to check on loan info RIGHT THERE in their parking lot, said definately the car, and the truck when it was ready, and left our phone number for them to call us when the brakes were fixed on the truck. We left town for St. Louis for the weekend. Husband called on Monday and truck wasn't ready to look at, still had brake issues, but they were working on it. By Wednesday, hadn't heard anything new on the brakes, we drove over- truck still had brake issues and meanwhile, car wasn't on the lot. They SOLD THE CAR the day before- Tuesday (even though they had our phone number THE WHOLE TIME). I lost a half day of vacation (which is already low due to kids plus elderly parent care) and now have to search again. My mother's car is NEVER going there for service again, Dad's probably rolling over in his grave. Word didn't mean anything, even to a long time customer. Apparently too much effort to make a phone call when another showed interest in the car. Mad doesn't even cover it. How do you plan to give me back my 1/2 day of vacation lost? I hope the ONE day earlier sale was worth it. No more business from my family, or anyone else that will be hearing my experience. Don't expect ethics at this business.Edited: forgot to add being out the money we spent on CarFAX reports for both vehicles. Husband even stopped in on Monday to get the VIN numbers from them.

I have had nothing but great and honest service from Novaks. You don't stay in business 70 plus years treating your customers badly. Kudos to the Novak Staff

I had a very bad experience trying to buy a vehicle here. Prior to test drive i asked if there were any issues, none were shared. I got in the vehicle and found the radio did not work. They were very rude, and offered to replace with a junk yard part. Speaks to dishonesty and a lack of character.
