I was impressed by how fast my windshield was repaired! My wife and I have been using this place for years now! I couldn't be happier with the service and repair. Great personable staff. Will recommend!

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR, DO NOT TAKE IT HERE. I scheduled an appointment with Jason the owner back in October to have the windshield replaced on my Subaru. I paid in full when scheduling to get the windshield on order (he asked for partial, I offered in full as a sign of good faith). Appointment date came, dropped the car off, came back later and picked it up. I get it home and get looking and there were scratches and scuffs in my paint around the windshield wiper plastic on my A pillars consistent with pry marks. The clips that held the plastic cowling on were all either broken or missing. Having worked with such like this before I get these cheap cheesy clips break, however a thorough job should have figured them into the bill. I went back a couple days later and spoke to Jason about it. I showed him the scratches and the missing clips to which he denied having any part in the scratches (this was the first windshield replacement this car has had. I have owned it since new), and took my number saying he would get the clips ordered and give me a call. He also stated that they would attempt to buff some of the scratches (some are down to bare metal) when the clips arrived. I offered again more money to get this in motion, to which he declined. 2 months later I have yet to hear back. Your mileage may vary but consider yourself warned.

My brand new audi recently had its backglass smashed in by a tree branch and Iowa auto glass replaced it for a fraction of the cost I was quoted elsewhere. The owner (Jason?) did a perfect job and even let my dog stay there for the day as I needed to leave in an emergency and my Uber driver wouldn't let my dog in the car. I was super nervous to take my expensive car anywhere other than the dealer but im sure glad I did. I'd never leave my dog with someone I didn't trust but I could tell right off the bat he was a trustworthy man (he also served in the Marine Corps). I live in Michigan but if I ever need any other Glassworks done I will purposely go out of my way to give him my business, it's not often you can find people in this industry that you can trust. My truck had the door glass broken out by someone in the middle of the night. I spoke with the owner (Jason) and he quoted me the best price that I found. They had a mobile technician at my house in a couple days and vacuumed up all the broken glass that was left in my car. Thanks a lot for the service. Had a nasty cracked windshield from a rock on the highway. I reached out to this place and spoke to Jason. He got me in the next day and had my install done in a couple hours. I drive a tesla, my main concern was quality and Iowa Auto Glass did not disappoint! They even quoted me a cheaper price than safelite. Jason was very professional and they went above and beyond to make sure my car was all cleaned up after. Worst eperience!! They installed a new sunroof for my Nissan Rogue there are a lot of scratches on the glass and they LOST MY KEY yes they got a new key but is not even complete. And yes they did pay for that new key and have to pay to program my other key and ofcourse had to pay for gas cause my mother in law had to drive another 4 hrs the next day to get the vehicle. He was very rude and hung up on me a few times, after they were irresponsible by loosing our keyService: Sunroof glass replacement

Great customer service. Always work quickly to get you scheduled for service. Excellent estimates. Have used #IowaAutoGlass for regular maintenance repairs, vintage car parts and repairs, glass repairs, and inspections. I always ask them for recommendations on other auto-services like muffler repairs, tire shops, and restoration services. They've also been awarded various commercial fleet services, which speaks to their reputation as well.

The owner Jason attempted to scam my elderly mother out of $500. I had to fly cross country and go to his office, he actually admitted to blocking my number.After several months, dozens of attempted phone calls, and a comical confrontation he refunded the money. The place is a dump and this guy is a lowlife.

Had my windshield done there sometime ago and it's never been right since. I could hear wind whistling through it and it never had that problem before. Sadly enough, I never complained so I'm still dealing with the windshield. I would not recommend them.

My civic s windshield was hit by debris while meeting family. I called around for the best quotes, ended up choosing Iowa Auto Glass. Pulled in and they replaced my windshield with excellent quality glass in 2-3 hours and I was back on the road. 10/10, will definitely come here again in the future! Thanks.

Do not go here! Inexperienced worker damaged my door panel. It looked like they used a flat blade screwdriver to pry it off. The left a lot of glass down in the door panel, plus scratches all over the door panel. They have neglected to make this right. I went here when I accidentally broke the back window on my minivan right before a trip I was supposed to take to northern Michigan. I got ahold of Iowa auto glass and they were able to install my new glass the next day. They did a great job and the price was a lot cheaper than Safelite. They cleaned up my van and they even cleaned up the garage. very nice job and I will definitely use them again. I see there were a few negative reviews on this website so I was skeptical at first. However everything turned out better than I could have expected and I saved money which is always a plus.

Jason and his team at Iowa Auto Glass did an excellent job of replacing my windshield on a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. I had vandalism damage that made the replacement difficult and they repaired the damage at no extra cost! Jason and his team are very honest and trustworthy for doing business. Avoid. Terrible communication. Took them 2 months to NOT fix my glass and bodywork damage. Eventually had to move to a different shop. If you need work done in anything resembling quickly, I would go elsewhere.For context, I've previously had a shop that forgot to screw one of my wheels back on my car. This shop is worse than that shop. If you place any value on your vehicle, or your time, go to any other shop. I would recommend Golden Hammer. I had my car scheduled to be fixed within 4 days.UPDATE: This joke of a shop seems to have gotten rid of their facebook page in reaction to my bad reviews. If you have the misfortune of working with a man named Jason, who also seems to operate as "Jason's Motor Carrier" or something similar, don't be fooled. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM if you want your vehicle fixed competently.

The customer is their no 1 priority. They are very kind and professional and take care of everything you need done. Although they were very busy, My windshield was done in record time. They not only replace glass but do a lot of other mechanical work as well. If you need anything else done just ask. I was very satisfied

I called on a Monday afternoon and they got the glass ordered, delivered and installed Tuesday by 11am after some POS busted my glass out and stole my purse. Worst company I've ever dealt with period. They had a guy come out to replace a windshield on my truck, didn't know what he was doing at all, 5 hours later all he had accomplished was 2 broken windshields. Luckily my truck company had another, so I had to buy one from my company which end up putting it in for me. I paid them in advance because it was after hours $300+. Now I've being trying to reach them since November because I don't live in the area and I can't get an answer. Y'all owe me money because I didn't use your glass because your technician broke it and he didn't even put it in. Then the one time the owner (Jason) did pick up was when he told me not to call his phone again, the same phone he used to set everything up. I do not recommend anyone to use this company.

HUGE PITBULL dog attacked my husband while walking in to get a windshield consultation. Completely unprovoked and bit his hand- could have been a lot worse! Luckily two men were yelling NO at the dog as the dog was running toward my husband. It was the owners dog!!DO NOT GO to Iowa Auto Glass on SW side of Cedar Rapids!! I repeat- choose somewhere else to get auto glass work done. No not take children- I can t even imagine. Horrible, terrifying experience.This happened August 2021.

I took my car in for the 2nd time..now my mirror guit working sometime. My passengers side door won't open...and the door won't lock .they ended up charging me to fix it and everytime I take it to them something else quits working. My door worked before I took it to them. Im taken it to someone else...I'm tired of taking it to them. And being charged for something that worked alreadyService: Auto power window repair

This is the worst Glass Company around. They were hired by my insurance company to replace the windshield on my Class A motorhome. I took it in when requested and within an hour I received a call the they had the wrong molding and it would be a day before they had it. Ok No Problem. Then I received another call telling me the windshield had been replaced before and whoever changed it damaged the mounting area of the windshield that they had to repair before they could install the new one. I just said OK. Now I will tell you that when I dropped off the motorhome it had the original windshield in it. All the manufacture labels including the bar coded label for the engine were on it and they are not removable. I highly doubt the manufacturer let it go out the door with damaged windshield mounting ares. When they finished it I let them know I would not be there before they closed no problem. It was dark and I could not see it very well so I took it home in the morning I looked at it and the rubber molding was falling out and was not flat very wrinkled going around the corners and where the one section of the molding was falling out they had left green masking tape under it. The seam where the two ends come together was nowhere even close to a good joint it was very crooked. I called Iowa Glass and they told me they expected to hear from me and they could fix it and make it right. It also appears that they hit their building with my passenger side mirror and scratched it as well as the lower front fender area on the drivers side. They had big chips in the painted fiberglass on the top of the windshield. If I could rate minus 100 I would

Installed a new windshield on my car (this is the 2nd time they've done it for me). I noticed a significant amount of wind noise after the install. Assumed it was just in my head. But upon getting a ton of rain, it started raining into my car through the seal. I got a warranty seal repair ordered (demanded another company) and the new company could tell in 30 seconds that the seal was installed incorrectly. He slid a piece of paper through the windshield into my car... would not use this company again.Service: Installation

Worst place I have ever been, replaced my windshield then scratched and chipped my paint above the windshield.Took a month or more for them to fix the paint looks bad didn't blend the paint in to get it to match and didn't fix the chips so you can still see them. In the process of fixing the paint above the windshield they somehow scratched up the hood of my truck. Not sure if they were sitting or standing on it while working on it. Very unprofessional place looks like a pit cars in pieces all over the lot.Service: Auto windshield repair

I was very happy they got my windshield repaired so fast and they even found and fixed a problem with my radiator. They gave me a ride to my home and picked me up again. The worst!!! You are so stupid if you use this one. Use safelite autoglass... This guy farmed the job out over a week ago, charged me 350.00 and didn't have the molding which he tried to charge 170.00 more saying the part was obsolete had to order it from CA which still isn't here a week o. No communication his response is dude!! Don't call us we'll call you, safelite will be here within thirty minutes, that's how pros should do it. This guy is a fraud.
