I called Bob Mickey before talking to my insurance company. I thought I could pay out of pocket...less than my deductible. I learned quickly why not...- blind spot tech calibration- painting the right-rear finder that attaches to my bumper to match the rest of my carMy bicycle's pedal getting wedged under my plastic finder, pulling it out and cracking it cost over $2,500All I had to do is tell my Ins co that I want Bob Mickey Collision to do the repair and EVERYTHING was a breeze.- They got me connected with a car rental once I scheduled the repairs- I showed up on Valentine's Day for some reason thinking that is when I scheduled the repairs (my calendar proved I was 10-days early).The guy at the counter said, "while you are here now, I will check if we can get you in." Not only was he able to get me in for the repairs, he got my rental rescheduled too.They have a web-based tracking system like Dominoes pizza. I always knew where my car was during repairs. I questioned the status, so called to confirm. The people there explain everything in plain language that makes sense. The progress tracker and text notifications are accurate and very helpful.I simply dropped off my rental, up the street at Enterprise then they dropped me off to pick up my car.The repaired fender is as though the car is brand new!Thank you Bob Mickey Collision!

I had a minor accident and needed my 4 runner fixed. Staff at Bob Mickey exceeded my expectations. Not only was the damaged fixed promptly but they went above and beyond and cleaned all of my floor mats! I know this was no small task given I live on gravel, I don't think my car has been this clean and shiny since I drove it off the lot!! Would highly recommend!

Came in for the estimate and they were very polite. Came in for the repair and they acted inconvenienced. I waited for a shuttle to work only to wait 20 min when he finally admitted there was no shuttle. So he called the rental company to pick me up but failed to give them my name so the rental company came with a vehicle that was not even meant for me so had to take additional time to sort that out.

Took my vehicle in for repair on an insurance claim and they did a great job! I appreciated the communication from Trevor and that they were fast in completing the work once they got the parts.

I had gone here for estimate for my car, the estimator fixed it for free at no extra charge. Was Able to get same day appt as well compared to others in the area.

I recently visited Bob Mickey Auto Collision in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to have an estimate done on the left front door of my GMC Envoy. From the moment I walked in, I was amazed by the outstanding service provided by the manager, Ryan. He went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and valued as a customer.What impressed me the most was how Ryan treated me as a person, not just another customer. Despite my appearance, which wasn't the best due to being on bed rest after a car accident, he showed genuine care and treated me with respect. Unlike other body shops I had visited, where I felt judged based on my appearance, Ryan and his team made me feel at home.The level of professionalism and attention to detail at Bob Mickey Auto Collision is exceptional. Bob Mickey did a great job fixing my car, looks amazing and they were very quick, professional and thorough. Special thanks to Tom, who went above and beyond to correct a small item that was missed from the original quote since there was a LONG time between that and when I got the quote to when I got the extensive work done. But everyone was amazing and very efficient, thank you!

Used Bob Mickey by recommendation after a fender bender. When we got the vehicle home my wife noticed part of the interior trim was half hanging off. She went in the following day and was told that they (they being Bob Mickey) had missed that and that they would make repairs. We thought fine, their only human, no big deal. Until we took it in for repairs, now they claim zero responsibility for the trim piece. I guess its our fault for taking them at their word, I guess next time Ill it in writing.Service: Body & Trim

I made the mistake of slamming my car into a sewer curb/grate about a month and a half ago and breaking a bunch of stuff on my car. The only saving grace of all of this was how easy it was to work the staff here at Bob Mickey, especially Chad. He was/is phenomenal to work with and went far above and beyond to assist with getting my insurance company figured out and set straight as they were trying to bypass some items necessary to properly fix my car. Chad helped me 90% of the time and again was awesome, however, every interaction I had with every employee there was top notch as well. They were all great! I hope to never have to deal with body issues/vehicle damage/insurance claims again, however If I do, I'll for sure be using the team at Bob Mickey for the work. They listened to my plans for my car and gave me honest feedback and options, including options they meant less money for them right now. In today's world where immediate profits seem like all that anyone cares about, that's rare. I'll be back. Frankly, I'm probably just going to drop it off and sign the dotted line. Chad was warm and welcoming, very professional and patient with his analysis of my car. He expected my car to be finished in one week. However, it was completed in 4 days. I have use this business three or four times in the past. My car was T-boned and I went for an estimate. Two employees sitting at their desks. They couldn t help me and offered to do an estimate six days from now. They now only do estimates by appointment. My time is more valuable than that. I was able to get in for an estimate relatively quickly and was happy with how I was treated. 1.5 months later I called the insurance company to see where the check for this work was, but they didn't receive the estimate.I called Bob Mickey's and they were unable to send the preliminary estimate to insurance "until it has been taken apart and a more detailed estimate can be performed." This was not the impression I got while there. I'm sure they do great work, but I'm struggling to see why I would recommend them.

I had a long crease in my passenger side door thanks to someone s large 2 door car and spring winds. Fortunately the dent specialist at Bob Mickey Collision was able to repair the crease, you d never know it was there! A day after having my car there, I realized that something had crawled up under the hood and died. I took it back to Bob Mickey; Trent and Shawn put it on a hoist and worked at finding the source of the terrible smell. They didn t have to do that, but did so without any questions. Great people who do great work even the shuttle driver was very friendly.

They fixed my Tahoe with all OEM GM parts and went out of there way to get it fixed the way I wanted and did a excellent job! I will come back if I ever get in another accident or need work done. Very very good place to get your vehicle fixed! I'm super happy!Service: PaintingService: Painting

They were very nice, they told me that a part needed came in damaged so they had to reorder which I was Happy that they took the time to do that. The only thing I was Disappointed in is that no one spoke to me at all about the repairs. I would have Liked to have gone over what was needed. Not sure what normal practice is as far as that goes but the only other time I have Had my car worked on in this capacity they went through what was needed and fixed, and my car came out looking better when it went in as far as a car wash and vacuum and the job done. Not the case here for a decent price tag on the work done. I have Given bob Mickeys two chances now and I think I will Take my business else where if need be in the future.

After I was hit by an uninsured driver I needed a collision center to confirm the extent of the damage in case I had to take her to court. Even though they knew just from my description that the cost of the repairs was going to exceed the market value of the car, they gave me a free estimate anyway. It was delivered in a timely and professional manner. In fact, in every interaction with their staff, I found them to be courteous, empathetic and honest.Unfortunately for this review, I can't speak to the quality of their work, but if they treat the cars they work on with the same level of care and respect that they treat their customers, I can only assume it would be impeccable.

Bob Mickey Collision was recommended to me by the Toyota Dealership and I found them not only to be professional but super duper friendly.They handled everything with the insurance company which was very appreciated and now the back bumper of my car looks great.Overall I was very pleased with the service provided.

My truck was damaged in the Storm of 2020 like alot of other vehicles. The good folks at Bob Mickey were chosen by me to make her look great again and I want you all to know they did an amazing job! I would not hesitate too have them work their talents on any vehicle that needs to be fixed up. I would like to give a special shout out to Trent for great customer service. I ve gone to Bob Mickey for any type of repair. They are always friendly and professional. The best part is if I ve had some minor things they almost always try to fix it at no charge or make suggestions to save ya some money. I highly recommend these guys and will continue to take my vehicles here as needed. Great Job guys. Keep up the FANTASTIC SERVICE.

Took my 2019 GMC Sierra there for extensive hail damage. They did a excellent job repairing dents and painting. It was all done in a professional, timely manner. Great service. I dropped the car off the day I took it in for an estimate. I hadn t arranged a ride and they were able to get me home. The car was completed in less than 3 business days. I m sure any other shop would have taken days longer. I won t hesitate to go there again the next time I need body work.

Fixed our Ford Flex. Vehicle had front end damage. They followed up with phone calls and honestlyncouldnt have been more accommodating. The work and paint were perfect. Very happy and would recommend them to friends and family.

I brought my vehicle in after scraping a snowbank that tore part of my bumper loose. As soon as I pulled in someone greeted me and asked how they could help. I showed them the problem and they told me it was not serious at all. They asked if I could wait about 20 minutes for a tech to look at it. They quickly reattached the bumper and did charge me a dime, in spite of my offering to pay. If I do have a body repair need in the future, I'm definitely taking it to these guys.

They do good work. But DON'T give them your insurance information. They will mark everything up to take every single penny the insurance gives you, so the company receives a bonus rather then helping out their customer to pay the bill.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

They explain everything well and are willing to take the time to answer questions. They are clear about scheduling and keep the customer updated on progress. They always meet the promised schedule and frequently beat it. oh, and the work is outstanding.

Had my car towed there after a minor fender bender. Was a busy season for them after a slew of winter storms hit us, so they didn't get back the next day, but they did the morning after that to let me know it had been totalled, and they sent me an easy to read estimate report right away. I took a few days to gather up my plan for a new car, they stored my totalled car there for 5 days, and then when I stopped by to pick up the keys for it they let me know that at that moment that it was covered in snow and the battery was dead. They offered to clean it off and get the battery charged and get it drivable for me to pick up that evening. When I stopped by to get it that evening after they closed, not only had they cleaned off most of the snow, but the car was washed, and the broken fender and headlight were all taped up, and the battery was charged.....all I had to do was start it up and drive off. They really went above and beyond on service for me when I didn't actually even give them any business! Hope I never need it again, but if I do, I know where I'm going!
