Brought my convertible to Schuerman Auto to get a broken seal replaced in the turbo. These folks were amazing! They were quick, kind and informative! Not to mention honest and easy to work with. I could not recommend schuerman auto repair more!

My tire pressure light came on when I was near the shop. I stopped in and he got me right in and patched it up within minutes. He was so nice and had great customer service

I have never done a review ever. We took my sons Trevor's car in for a starter, fixed in 1 day. While driving their noticed my own headlight was out. Adam came out and fixed it on the spot!!Best customer service ever. Everything is very well explained for people that don't even know what is going on in the 1st place. We have also had a transmission put in my wife's car, no problems. I would go back to them every time and would suggest to anyone that is looking, to have any repairs done there.

The best auto service I ve ever experienced!Jeremy did a great job diagnosing my vehicle and explaining what was wrong. He was happy to provide an answer to any question I asked. Also, they provided me with information in regard to my vehicles brake life, tire tread percentage, etc. none of which was pushed to have fixed/changed. I felt confident in their assessment of my vehicles condition as well as the price of parts/labor.Great job to the team at Schuermans!

I cannot say enough good things about Schuerman Auto Repair! We don t live in the Cedar Falls area but our daughter is a student at UNI and needed work done on her car. Eric and all of the staff at Schuerman have gone above and beyond to help her out and to keep us informed. They make honest recommendations about repairs (even when it means income for them). I would highly recommend them!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I have a Nissan Leaf EV and took it into them for its routine 15,000 miles service. Even though there was one item they were not totally familiar with, they had researched it before I got there and knew exactly what needed to be done. Excellent Service as usual. Not the cheapest place in town, but they'll never charge you for something you don't need.

This place is everything you would dream of in a repair shop. Honest, skilled, and great communication.They fixed an electric issue with my Lincoln mkx for 2 hours labor. This was something that had been unfixable by the dealership the previous owner took it too many times and they had tried replacing parts instead of the root because they could not figure out the root or did not want to.This is going to be the only place I go for auto repairs. It is such a delight to have had this experience.Thanks so much Schierman Auto Repair!!!

Had a slave cylinder replaced on my Honda and they diagnose it pretty accurately, plus evaluated the clutch condition and were honest to say it did not needed anything else, replaced or worked on and also they are priced a bit above median prices, but work was good and done right with honesty. I would definitely recommend this shop!

I have been living in the Cedar Valley for 16 years and have routinely gone to Schuerman's Auto Repair with various make and model of car. They have gone above and beyond with honesty and have earned my trust many times over. I appreciate their hard work and my only complaint is that they can be hard to get an appointment last minute. Which means to me that they have a base clientele that keeps them busy and return business. They have always treated both my wife and I with respect and I recommend them to any of my friends/family.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that this is a reputable shop, as a shop owner of 29 years myself they treated me like I was their #1 customer. My daughter is a UNI freshman and her car broke down, living over 2 hours away I Googled shops in the area and chose Shuerman's because of their reviews and they lived up to it. Fast prompt service, clear communication and even got the car done ahead of schedule with fair prices. THANK YOU!!!

Honest and reasonably priced. I trust these guys. They've done great work on my vehicles and have saved me tons of money over dealerships for 10+ years. I have them service all my business and personal vehicles. Highly recommended!!

There is no other place I will go in the area. They treat you with respect and you can tell they are very honest and do really good work. In my experience they have never tried to sell me more than I really need and are reasonable with prices. Really hard to find places like this. Really hard. They are the only mechanics I can trust in the area with all the places I have went to. I never leave reviews but I had to because they 100% deserve it. It may take some time to get in but that is for a reason. People will wait for good service. Thanks guys.

In January 2020 my daughter was on her way back to UNI when her 2013 Chevy Impala, while traveling on Highway 20, developed traction control/ anti-lock brake electrical issues and went immediately into "limp mode" and "reduced engine output mode". Simply put, the car was driveable, but at an extremely reduced speed.What a terrific phone call for a father to get two hours away from a daughter needing her dad right away.Luckily, without the boring details, she made it to Cedar Falls safely, and in one piece.In the meantime, I searched the area on Google for a reputable repair shop, and found a great one in Schuerman Auto Repair.Now I'm not going to drag out the details on this, I'd like to get right to the point ;Any issues you have with your vehicle, these pros will get it done. They are honest , professional , very knowledgeable , and experienced in their field. Let alone so reasonably priced that it almost hurts.Enough said.Dare I ask, Would I recommend Shuerman Auto Repair to a friend?ABSOLUTELY

Highly recommended. I have some knowledge about cars and do most of my own work but occasionally seek professional help for difficult jobs. After being jerked around by others in town I was relieved to have found these guys. Good work, timely, professional, fair prices, and didn t try to upsell or push anything.

5 Stars is not enough for this repair shop. We were an out of town stranded family in Cedar Falls this past weekend with a major wheel issue on our car. This repair shop not only worked on our vehicle first thing but the one of the mechanic's lent my husband his personal vehicle so he could come back to the hotel to wait with us and have some mode of transportation in case we needed to get something. This is how you run a business. If you ever need a reliable, fair priced, caring auto shop.....this is it! Thank you so much Schuerman Auto Repair for getting us on the road and back home to enjoy our Christmas holiday!

We aren't from the immediate area but were trying to buy a car from here. First I called and asked if they do inspections and Adam was very kind and worked us in the next day. He informed us what he found right away and he even worked with the seller to get a few things repaired very quickly! Great communication, polite, prompt, professional, would definitely recommend!!

Referred to Schuerman by a friend in Janesville and never went anywhere else after the first repair they did. Honest and direct communication, no pressure, explains options and details thoroughly in terms anyone can understand, professional and extremely knowledgeable about auto mechanical issues, clean and courteous, reasonable prices. You won t go anywhere else after doing business at Schuerman Auto Repair!

This shop is high quality! No high sale gimmicks or dishonest sales pitches. They are fair priced and do their best to keep the repair costs down. Old home town service. Can't be beat!

My son is a freshman at UNI but we live in Wisconsin. He was getting ready to move home for the summer and his car wouldn't start. Found this place on the internet. Schuerman's got his car in early the next morning even though they had no appointments. It was only the battery but the timing and respect they showed my teenager was nice. Highly recommend this place!

The staff at Schuerman's is so friendly and down to earth. After have problems with other places Schuerman's was able to fix my issue the first time. Their prices are affordable and reasonable. Being a college student I feel like I stumbled upon a hidden gem.

Schuermans repair...first experience....drove my vehicle to see what was happening with it...placed it on the hoist to look at found the problem quickly...showed me the problem so that I could see and understand the problem...prices the cost to fix it for me. Very friendly accurate no beating around the bush... answered my questions promptly. Thanks Schuerman auto repair.

had several things done on the 09 Ranger. very satisfied. great communications and prompt service. would recommend
