Went to advanced auto parts to have them check my battery. Not a lot of help. I then went to O'Reilly, to see if they would be any help. They checked my battery and said it was dead. Arik installed the battery and I was ready to go in 15 minutes! All of the employees were helpful and courteous! I highly recommendO'Reilly

Nice location, It wasn't busy. And I had a check engine light just come on. The employee hooked up the scan tool and told me the code.

This company is not a good place to work. Anything from your past can be used against you. No matter how long ago it was. A good employee can be fired at any time even if they are looking to be promoted. A poorly run company also makes it a poor experience for the customer.

The review below was one star and about a year ago. I believe in second chances [and that rude people are unhappy in their jobs and move on]. So, I returned and had a very positive experience. I purchased Doorman lug nuts for my '64 Rambler. The guy behind the counter even asked to see pictures and told me to swing by with it when it is running. I shared with them about my experiences with rude staff and how much I appreciated the nice interaction. Not sure if the rude folks got fired so am splitting my rating in the middle for now and increasing it to 3 stars.OLD COMMENTS:The sales associate may not have meant to create a feeling of my being unwelcome from the time I walked in but she certainly did. Plus, she was rude and cut me off sharply in mid sentence when I was asking about a part. I put the parts I selected back on the shelf and never will return. I understand that people have bad days but I think the owner would be very disappointed that publuc-facing staff act like she did.

Staff is super rude and condescending. My boyfriend and I have never been treated so poorly. Everything we did or said was scoffed/laughed at for literally no reason. We will not be going back for anything. Don t recommend anyone support this place until they get new staff.

Very friendly and helpful employee. She tested my battery and alternator for free. She helped me find a steering wheel cover and organized the ones that were out of order. Great service.

I was called "honey" 4 times by the misogynistic clerk at the counter. He was rude and seconded guessed my purchase and then laughed at me when I declined his help to put my own wiper blades on. I will never go back. I AM a woman, but I DO know about cars enough to buy wiper blades...

Employees know very very little about cars. Seem to just to try selling you something just to make money. Get wrong parts constantly. Lifetime warranty means nothing to them, wouldn t return tools that broke first use calling it abuse from the manager. Manager has little competence. Waterloo store is much better I d go there before this store. Extremely extremely dissatisfied with this store. Will not buy anything from this location ever again.

The attendant kailee was not wearing a mask. No staff had masks on today. Would have felt more comfortable if they did. No sanitizer provided even though the sign says to use store provided sanitizer upon entering.

I own a 2015 car. Yesterday morning, I went in for a free battery and alternator testing on my car because it's been needing a jump start more often. I was the only customer in there. I figured I needed a new battery, and was told 30 minutes before by the roadside assistance man he thinks it was my battery because it was the original battery for the vehicle and his test said it was too. He also tested my alternator and said it good. He told me to get it doubled checked just in case and recommended O'Reilly's to me. I went there and a man came out and checked my battery, he seemed irritated with me. He put the machine up to my car for 10 seconds and said it's your alternator and hurried and pulled the machine off my car. I was confused because I thought it was my battery and the RSA man told me it was my battery before him an half-hour before. So I asked the man if he knew of a good place to get it fixed. He was all too happy to tell me about Priority 1 a couple blocks away, which was also weird because he was just being rude his entire time servicing me. I left and went to Priority 1, got quoted an alternator for 550. Something told me to get a third opinion because I may not know a lot about cars, but I KNOW MY CAR! I took my car to Advanced Auto, the other place the RSA guy suggested. The man there was happy to help, patient, answered my questions, and took his time and actually HELPED me and confirmed with the RSA man and me, that it was indeed, my BATTERY! And that my alternator was also GOOD! The man at O'Reilly's was about to have me spend over 500 dollars for a POINTLESS, non issue on my car! I ended up getting a battery at Advanced Auto and my car has been working wonderfully! I am very upset, frustrated, and disappointed with the service here! And I will NEVER return to any of these stores!

Staff very unfriendly and rude. My boyfriend was there and Jessica wasn t helpful at all and was rude to him the whole time. He had a warranty on some rotors and she told him she would turn them for him this time only and wanted to charge him for it. Said even though you have a warranty I m not going to do it again.

-15 degrees and the check engine light came on. Their employees checked the code, checked the charging system, and made sure that it was truly a false alarm so that the car didn't fail in the bitterly cold weather. Best Auto Parts store in Waterloo!!!

And please weren't very knowledgeable I spent $52 on hose connect heater hose connectors that were not even close to being the right size and the place that they would fit

For the most part they are reasonable compared to their competitors. I have found websites that are cheaper with the exact same parts but when you need the part right now I go to O'Reilly's

Girl on duty at 10:00 Am on 08/28/21 1st comment was not hi or how are you but rather snotty n I will leave it at that wont go their again unless completely in a hurry always seems to be rude women working everytime I go in there!!!
