We did not stay at the hotel. We visited the Fun City fun zone. It was ridiculous. Half the games didn't work, or they took our money. The bathrooms were extremely dirty. We ate at the Caf� and ended up waiting over an hour for our food. I had a chicken sandwich, and it was so dry I couldn't eat it all, let alone chew it. We have been to Fun City before, and it's never been this bad.

First off my mother booked 5 rooms as our family s Christmas gift. A total of 13 children. When she called to make the reservations they told her MANY times they had an indoor water park. The whole reason she went with this place was for the water park. We arrive and absolutely no water areas. They are trying to update their website but doesn t explain why the lady told her it was still open. Next after being there for one night out of two we are packed up and heading home. One of the rooms had a live BED BUG which we bagged up and took to the front desk. My 1 year old niece was bit so bad! At first they acted concerned but as we were leaving they claimed they would call us IF THEY FIND MORE!? now we have 5 families that have to try and make sure our homes don t get infested and we get a IF statement!? Absolutely stay the hell away from this place!

I booked a 2 day stay with my boyfriend we went to check in and the front desk ladies were extremely nice!! We got our keycards and headed to the room and at first glance the room was SOOO nice!!! The bathroom was extremely beautiful and clean, the bed was very comfortable and clean , flat screen tv AND it was extremely quiet our whole stay!! I absolutely loved this experience at this hotel it was so amazing! We will definitely be coming back!! An amazing experience and sooo many things to do there! Thank you Great River Entertainment!

Resort style hotel with Casino, Water park and inside Fun Game Rooms. It s a destination for adults and for families.Rooms: Hotel is divided into Several different sections. Kid friendly with family rooms. Another section for Adult only that is sleek, quiet and swank.Food & drinks: Restaurants inside hotel are handy and delicious. A one stop for fun and food.

It was a memorable event I won a small jackpot of 1255 and some change excellent except only got 203 dollars of I due to fines that qas already up to date paid but they took all of it but 203 even though I was not tardy on finesRooms: They are always spacious and roomy quiet and close to everythingWalkability: Just almost our the door and you're at a gas station fast food place anything you like to do they have itFood & drinks: Drinks always have been on time fresh

We love visiting fun city and have since we were just kids ourselves it's nice to still enjoy taking our kids. I wish there was a bit more for the younger (2-6yr olds) to do but they do enjoy the little area I just wish there was at least 1 slide for them too. Over all we spent 3 days there to end our summer and enjoyed it Rooms: The rooms are clean and spacious although we'd prefer they had actual doors on the bathroom for those like us who have kids who need more privacy and us as adults would like it too.Food & drinks: We love eating at all of the different places around the hotel it's nice to have so many options without ever getting in the car.

FunCity Resort Hotel is in a great location near the highway, restaurants shopping and gas stations. At the time of my family visit the indoor pool was being renovated along with the indoor play land which we were aware of prior to our visit. The rooms are not spacious, although clean and comfortable not worth the price per night. The Staff are amazing allowing us to check in early no additional charge. All of the amenities are at a separate charge. Breakfast was buffet style and Ok not a wide variety. This isn't the place for a family on a budget though Great for children and adults of any age.Nearby activities: Close to restaurants, gas, shoppingFood & drinks: At least 4 restaurant options on-site, water park concession food is great tasting and more than enough.

Can't say enough good about the location. Lots to do we spent 1 day inside and most of the 2nd day in the water park. Ginormous pizzas very good! New flavors of ice cream we tried orange. Lots to do in the arcade. Room service is on site and affordable. Nice bathrooms. When I walked in my room floor was soaked and the mini fridge didn't work got me a new room right away but didn't offer anything but sorry about the room and had to get a room away from my family we rented 4 rooms attached. I did forget paper plates the frony desk was accommodating. Soft pillows. Nice beds. Balcony was taped off due to construction I believe. I think 2pm should be check in not 4pm that's too late in the day. Arcade on site, lazee tag, go carts, diner, water park, and restaurant and casino.Rooms: My room had a lot of space. Nice bathrooms. Clean room. Alarm clock and hair dryer in room. Single cup Coffee maker.Nearby activities: Lots to do sown town Burlington. We could easily spend 4 days here with plenty to do. Newer items in the arcade With more than 1 player and for All ages. Go karts separate little kids and adults couple carts for kid and adult ro fit. We have tickets but didn't have time to spend them. Pleasant staff. Hucks harbor has pool splash pad and lazy river like 5 water slides.Food & drinks: Diner on site and Boogaloo Cafe.

We stayed in the fun city portion of the hotel complex this weekend (August 2023). When we booked the hotel the website said the indoor pool would be open in Spring 2023 and still says that. Upon arrival we saw that the indoor pool, ninja course and ballcity areas are still no where close to finished. Our rooms were poolside rooms and they have plastic sheeting covering the porches so you don't have a view of the construction/mess. It unfortunately makes for a dark room and unusable porch. I'd recommend the company update their website to more accurately portray what is open. There were people vaping weed in the hallway which was annoying and frustrating when you have little kids.Pros: The bathroom in the room was updated and very nice. The staff we interacted with were all very nice.Overall: If you have little kids I'd recommend you stay at another hotel in the area with an indoor pool, better amenities, free breakfast and come over to fun city to enjoy the arcade, go karts etc.Tip: If you don't want to pay for the breakfast buffet, Panera is located a few steps away.

I wish I could give a better review but unfortunately, we didn't have the best experience. Room is ok but what made my experience bad was the price for the night because of the fact that the pool and the play room were under construction and no one said anything during the booking of the stay. There was no warning or discount price. I believe thats pretty bad. The only reason we went was because of the play area they had and the pool. Over $170 and my kids didn't get to go for a quick swim. Not coming back ever honestly.

Not much to do around the area. And the website stated that the new play areas would be open by spring 2022. When we arrived the indoor water park, ballocity and ninja course were closed with no replacement areas. It was very disappointing to have less to do in this area which already does not have anything else to do. Also in the past the waterpark was included. Now you have to pay 5 dollars a person per day. Vacation was boring so we tried to play cards and have fun gathering as a family. Come to find out they do not have even have a good place to hang out and play cards. The staff was not very accommodating in this. They didn't care at all. Also we wanted to eat together but the staff stated it would be against state laws. Staff was breaking what I'm sure would have been against health laws as well. Then later in the day I called to see if we can have late check out so we can eat together in our room the staff said no late check outs would be available due to low staff. I asked where we could eat our lunch. The girl stated we can eat in the snack bar area that we were already told we could not be in. Again not fun for vacation. The room was ok except the door to the bathroom was sliding rather than a regular closing door. There was gaps in both sides. Very bizarre. You can hear everything. And we have a mixed family. Not really ideal for an open bathroom and glass shower door. My daughters were very uncomfortable. The air conditioner seems to be from 1970 and runs extremely loud. If you are a light sleeper it will keep you up all night. Also it made random wet spots on the floor next to the bed. Not something you want to step in when you are waking up. We tried to get clean towels the second day after staying there with no cleaning service and the staff told us there are no clean towels. Tried to get them several times but none were available until the next day. Staff in the restaurant seemed to be more training. But in the end the pizza tasted amazing. The arcade was really fun but there were a lot of games that didn't work. You can purchase cards with a discount but they can't be put on seperate cards. So when you have a family of four you have to stay together. It makes no sense. Seems like some training and maintenance is needed here. Needs to accommodate and cater more to families. Come up with some better ideas to provide a higher level of customer service to families wanting to come for a fun vacation.
