I had a very poor experience at a local competitor. The maintenance guys at work suggested I go to AutoZone instead and I am so happy I did. Michelle was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful diagnosing what was going on with my car not starting. Highly recommend.

was here approximately 8pm 2/10/24. prior to going my husband called ahead and talked to jeff at 530pm to check on availability on a different fuel pump because the $409 trugrade fuel pump kept breaking and we needed to get a different one that was about $50 more so he told jeff that he need to return the trugrade without it being refunded back to card and just pay the difference because the bank will not make funds available for at least a week if they will even except it. jeff said no problem and he would tell his coworkers what's going on because he was leaving. my husband drove 2 hours with a broken back to this place in Burlington, ia. when he got there, they knew nothing that was going on. so, my husband explained what was going on and Jeff called him and told him. after being told multiple times the guy REFUNDED FUNDS BACK TO CARD and said there's nothing he can do about it.... after all that! so now I won't have a vehicle for at least a week or maybe even months because the last time we did a return at AutoZone on 10/2022 it was for an obd 2 scanner of $105 we did not get it after calling store in Hannibal mo several times and talking to corporate office still did not get money back. We have never had good luck with AutoZone. Thanks alot! My best advice for dealing with AutoZone is use cash only. they take your money and pretend they dont understand. kind of like some who doesn't speak English until it benefits them.

Today they had server communication issues which prolonged my trip there. The young woman did her job well to the best of her capabilities and allowed me to complete my transaction but you young man there did not act professionally and became of an annoyance to a point that he had almost cost the company a $200 deal which may not seem like a big thing but can add up if it s a frequent occurrence. This the 3 stars would have been better had he been more professional and less careless

I usually like AutoZone but this one was the absolute rudest employees I've ever encountered. If you can go to another store I suggest you do so. They will not help you and they will go out of their way to remind you what time they close without saying anything directly to you. If people can't come out and just say just to let you know we close it whatever time don't drop hint it's very immature and childish. And I definitely will not be coming back here. I will go to a store that I don't like you before I deal with it employees here

Did an awesome job changing out my battery. Said it should take around 45 minutes and he beat the timer! I was on the road again in no time and I will always make sure the Nissan is in the parking lot before I stop

Fantastic help prices are a little higher than other places at times but to have informative associates who will go out of their way and show you where to hook up a freon recharge it is greatly appreciated now I have AC again. Five stars for service and for being informative. I'd give three Stars based on price alone. Overall highly satisfied

Great experience. I wish I would have gotten the young man's name. He was very professional and knowledgeable on which wiper blade would be best for my needs. He even took the time to show me how to put them on, letting me do it myself (He was going to do it for me but this is something I should know how to do by now).Thank you!

Friendly staff, helpful, and knowledgeable. They helped diagnose our car's problems. They were able to test the battery and help us find one that would fit our make our model of our car, and got us on our way. We were trying to get a really nice battery but the people were honest and sold us only what we needed, and we got a free install of the battery too.

Great store and especially the staff, the long haired parts manager is especially knowledgeable and very helpful every time I go in, I believe that his name is Randy, so awesome to have employees like this

These guys showed us how to put our windshield wipers on our car so now we can do it ourselves! They had a computer that told them what size of wiper you needed, but it didn't know what size our rear window needed. I feel it was totally worth my time to come here to get my wipers!

Worse experience I've ever had. I had to wait 4 days for left and right brake lines and they only received 1 of them. They re-ordered the right side and it came in on the 5th day. The brake line they re-ordered was the wrong one and I had to wait 7 days before receiving the right side. I was able to get it faster and cheaper at Advanced Auto. I wish I had gone there first.

Randy was a big help today, replacing the serpentine belt on my friend's F150. I wish their was more people like Randy God bless you sir and paid him a nice tip. I recommend this Autozone in the town of Burlington, Iowa. And people that are out of town that have mechanical breakdown should go there. This is how I was raised as a youngin of helping others.. You help me I'll help you in The American Way.

You know I always go back and forth between here and one other place. I try to go elsewhere but I always come back here. I love the selection. They almost always have what I need. And sometimes I act like I dont know something to see how educated they are at what they sell. Most times that works out.

Store had a.sign outside stating that masks were required. Not just a door or window poster. An actual standing sign that some would have had to drag out each morning and put in front of the door. And yet only one employee and no customers were wearing masks. I don't care if you wear masks, but why go through the effort of putting out a sign each day?

Badly needed lug bolts and nuts for one wheel on a large tandem enclosed trailer. Being broken down when from out of town is not a pleasant experience especially when you are on a tight schedule. Unfortunately, AutoZone quickly found the lug nuts but 'declined' to search their "boxes" for the correct lug bolts saying it would take too much time and effort. Their computer doesn't reference trailer parts. Unable to convince the employee to do the manual search, I left the store, dropped the trailer in the parking lot, and drove to Advance Auto Parts a few blocks away where they gladly did the manual search without me asking, and when it would be the following day to get the bolts, they directed me to a trailer repair facility which stocked the parts and got me back on the road!! Skip AutoZone, they don't seem to have the time to be 'inconvenienced' by a customer in need. Advanced Auto Parts on Agency St in Burlington is THE place to go!

Had to replace my entire front suspension, bought it all from here, when they didn't have passenger control arm, dude called up 4 different stores near by, then when they didn't have it, he called all the part stores in Burlington and found it for even cheaper than I had paid for the drivers control arm. Great place fast friendly service

Due to the poor automotive knowledge or lack of training I really dislike going into this parts store. If they don't have it listed in their computer they have no idea what you are talking about or if they don't understand automotive lingo. If it is a part I need right away then I will go there but if I can wait I prefer to order it online then I know I am getting the correct part.
