Just had a second "excellent" experience at QC Auto Service. The technician who helped me today was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, prompt and helped me right away. Service was quick and the price VERY reasonable. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of tire services. 5 stars all around! Thank you!

They were fast and prompt to get me in. They were kind and knowledgeable in helping me and didn t charge me for checking over my car just wanted me and my family home safe and we were 1/1/2 hours from home. Highly recommend and so thankful for them!

I want to express my feelings regarding my recent visit at the Bettendorf location. We had several inches of snow, the worst snow storm ever and I got a flat tire on Middle road!! Josh and Tanner took care of me immediately during my distress. Josh even talked with me a bit and calmed me down (even thou he didn't know I was a basket case). These 2 are a great asset to this company and I wanted to take the time to make sure EVERYONE knows this. I will continue to do business here from now on. Thank You both for caring about others in need!

I came in for a quick estimate on my exhaust. Eric pulled my car in and Red said he would fix it now. I thought I would have to come back and never expected them to fix my vehicle and be so quick about it! They also did an oil change for me! Very reasonable pricing, too! Honestly this is the only place I will go to! I have a warranty on my vehicle and they have been easier to deal with than the dealership. They were able to get my car done in a timely manner, showed me what was wrong, and gave me a decent price on what needs to be fixed. Super friendly staff, the mechanic even showed me what was wrong with my car when the check engine light came on. Don t go anywhere else because you will not be disappointed!!!Services: Auto battery replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

Bottom Line Up Front:They suggested unnecessary work and didn't complete some details of a job I requested.I have gone to them twice because of convenience (they are down the street from me) and both times had negative experiences:1) I asked them to grease my ball joints, they charged me for it, but when I checked afterwards, two of the four were dry. They also left my key precariously on my dashboard, it fell in the gap under the windshield and took me hours to recover.2) I researched and diagnosed a specific problem on my vehicle. I asked them to look into it and they said they would have to "pull off the transmission and then take a closer look." I chose to take it to another shop, and sure enough, they agreed that it was the same issue that I found. Taking off the transmission would have unnecessarily added thousands to the repair.Edit: After they reached out to me, I removed my comments about their competence and character. The above things actually happened though, and I think they speak for themselves. I prefer to work with a mechanic who helps me thoroughly troubleshoot and problem solve, instead of flatly implying that my only option is to undergo a massive repair.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Was pretty disappointed with my experience at QC auto. Told me that it was gonna cost $1100 to have all my struts replaced for just labor alone even when i had already paid $400 to have parts provided. Not really much of a break down of what they did and were trying to get me to have my rear control arm on my passenger side on my FWD vehicle to spend even more money to get fixed. Not really much of a break down on my receipt either, I will say they were very polite and friendly I definitely can give them that much, let alone the service they did on my car was top notch. After talking to my old mechanic that had just retired, told me that was way too high to have replaced. I felt really screwed over... I appreciate the service they did I just wish I would have went somewhere else.... Hope people take this comment into consideration before coming here and have a better experience than I did!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

This is my preferred place for pro shop car maintenance. I trust their prices and have never felt like a women customer, just a customer. The front desk service is always inviting and the staff is knowledgeable. Always call around and price compare but likely you ll end up there! Qc auto is leading because they care.

I've taken several different vehicles to this place over the years, and I've finally reached a breaking point with them. They are friendly and knowledgeable. I'll give them that much. It's certainly why I felt giving them my business was a good decision. Unfortunately, they seem to "doom and gloom" ANY vehicle you bring them. It could be a brand new 2019 Lexus right off the transport from the factory, and they'd find $4000 worth of needed repairs within five minutes of putting it on a hoist. Perhaps they don't mean to be shady, but they just come off that way. Other people I've talked to have had a similar experience. I'm just done taking my car to a place that uses so much fear to sell repairs that aren't all that urgent. I can't complain about the work they've done. It was definitely up to par. I only wonder how much of the work they've charged me for was totally unnecessary in the first place.

Qc Auto service and their employees are amazing! Our daughters car needed to be fixed but was completely dead in our garage, so we had no way of getting to them. Dave and Austin went out of their way to come to our home and help us figure out what was going on with it and get it fixed and running for our daughter! I would highly recommend these 2 amazing guys and their shop to anyone! They are fair priced and very friendly! Thanks again Dave and Austin!

QC Auto Service has been great! I took in my truck, ready to spend any amount of money to do my 100,000 mile maintenance. I had told Scott that, and his response was that he won t sell me services I don t need. I was shocked, because there was an easy opportunity to up sell me on a bunch of tune up services. I really appreciate the honesty and know exactly where any of my vehicles will be going in the future.

Dave and crew is always good to our family, providing maintenance to our cars brakes, tires and oil changes. We can make appointments in a timely manner, he uses good quality repair parts, labor is fairly priced, and the quality of work is always topnotch. Thank you for being a reliable and local auto service for our family's vehicles since 2012.

QC Auto Service on State Street in Bettendorf is an amazing place. Dave the manager is really a great and very friendly guy. Everyone was very cordial towards me. Tammy is an awesome employee there. The mechanic, I think his name was Corey, truly knows cars and trucks. I have had the pleasure of having my truck serviced at this location on State & Devils Glen Rd on 2 occasions. Once to replace my starter and the other being after my car was inappropriately towed by an over zealous towing company (provided by AAA) that resulted in significant damage to my truck. Each time the work performed was efficiently and relatively expeditiously. The pricing was very fair and I was informed and even escorted into the work area to show me the exact damage that they were repairing. Dave made sure that the proper parts needed were quickly delivered and installed. Even the office staff were very warm and friendly. Dave is phenomenal! He "puts out fires" so to speak and handles issue-after-issue without becoming flustered at any time. He is a very efficient manager and oversees all work whether it's a major part to be serviced or a simple sideview mirror.

I have been looking for a shop to start consistently taking my vehicles. I had taken my vehicle to a competitor and when I went to pick the vehicle up they had over $1,000 in recommended repairs. I wanted to get a second opinion and I was referred to QC Auto by a coworker. Many of the repairs and services that were suggested by the competitor were deemed unnecessary by QC Auto. I greatly appreciated their honesty and will continue to bring my vehicles here from now on. Dave's customer service was fantastic and I look forward to working with them in the future.

QC Auto Service did an amazing job of diagnosing the issue with my car and providing all options of repair. They were honest with the work to be done and went in to detail of what each process. They provided recommendations on what needed to be done vs what could wait and what costs would be associated so I could make informed decisions about the work being done. Highly recommend.

Superior Service! My alternator died as I pulled into the lot last night at 5:30. I had called 15 minutes before with my concerns. The staff stayed late to receive my car and take me home afterwards. Today they were able to get my car fixed right up. I must say that my car always drives noticeably smoother after their work, even if it is a simple oil change. Plus it is really nice to have a consistent record of the history of our cars and solid recommendations to budget for future repairs. We are very loyal to QC Auto, and especially to the guys on State Street, Bettendorf. Thanks for all you do for the Parker Family!!!!

Great experience here. I was on a cross country road trip and my check engine light went on just outside Bettendorf. QC Auto got me in first thing Saturday morning, offered great advice, was able to fix the problem and I was back on the road in just a couple hours! Friendly, reasonably priced and honest, I d definitely recommend this place.

I would recommend QC Auto to everyone!! They got me in same day, and was able to figure out what was wrong and fixed my car the same day! John was very knowledgeable and personable. I took our business here for a year, and got a "shady" vibe from the associates, but brushed it off. Then an associate backed our van into a pole, scratching the bumper. They did not tell me about it, they must have thought I didn't see. When I brought it up, they did not apologize. They wiped some smudge off the bumper and tried minimize the problem.I will no longer take my service to individuals who are dishonest, even about little things like a scratched bumper. I expect professionals to have more integrity than that.Furthermore, they told me at every visit that something was critically wrong with my van or my truck. Usually they suggested a $500+ repair. None of these recommendations has proved necessary for my vehicles' health.May 2018 Update:I got a call from the manager of this facility. He apologized for how we were treated and informed me that the manager responsible for how we were treated has since been dismissed from the company.I have not verified this fact but the gentleman was kind over the phone. I still will take no business to this location, but for what it's worth it seems management may have changed since.

I needed two new tires and Matt, Eric & Dan at QC Auto Service helped me every step of the way, from my initial call to check prices to the final selection and fitting of new tires. They helped me understand my options but did not over-pressure me. They listened to me, and in very little time I was safely on my way again at a fair price. I would go there again for future repairs and tire needs.

I came to QC Auto Service with a car that hadn't been properly maintained in years. Dan and Joe knew they had their hands full with all the work I needed, but they promised me they'd have my car done by the end of the day. They were knowledgeable, respectful, and never once talked down to me (considering I know very little about cars). They even stayed late to finish my car. I felt like I was dealing with family, and because of my experience, I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else.

I knew my brakes were bad and was worried about the cost to repair them. I was able to get my car in and brakes fixed the day that I called and within a few hours of me dropping it off. Out of the places that I had already called and gotten quotes from this ended up being on the less expensive side so that was a relief as well. I will definitely be going back.Service: Brakes

A friend from out of town had some (blinking lights on the dash)issues with her Subi and the dealership (couldn't get her in)recommended QC Auto. They diagnosed it right away, saying that the tranny was shot and charged her $228 to diagnose.They gave a $8k-$9k estimate to fix the tranny. They said they'd TAKE THE TITLE and forgive the $228 debt if she just wanted to leave her car and send the title. I guess they thought they'd take advantage of "dumb women". Not today, Satan. We handled it ourselves by flying in a ASE mechanic that we know. $500 computer part and it's fixed. Plane tix, lodging, and food for our mechanic was still cheaper than the estimate we got. I'd never recommend this QC Auto company on state st. in Bettendorf. We called the dealership and told them the same. Our mechanic says this company, specifically Danny, seems like a shyster and should not be trusted.Services: Transmission, Vehicle Inspection

Great shop, gives accurate quotes, and does a great job with your vehicle. Willing to install larger tires on your vehicle, so long as they fit, unlike most other big box stores or chain repair shops. Always go here for tires and an alignment, and they have great muffler prices.

They got my wife's van in right a way as she was leaving for out of town the following day. Pricing was fair and they went above and beyond dealing with the confusion involving my extended warranty. All work was completed in one day, which was impressive for the amount of repairs needed. Very happy with my experience and definitely recommend them.
