I'd forgotten my OBD2 reader at home and a nice young lady helped me out with reading a code and what I needed. Very professional and helpful.

Sent my son there to get some help with replacing a headlight bulb. They have always been helpful in the past, not today. No one would help him look up the correct bulb. He asked for help installing the bulb he finally found, and was told nope. Thanks for the NO Customer service.

I came to the Bettendorf, Iowa location today, on Middle Road, around 5:30 p.m. With it being a beautiful day, I had my window down. There was a worker helping someone in the parking lot about their windshield wiper being stuck. My issue is about the guy that was working was spewing profanity. I had my young child in the car. He wasn't being quiet about it either. We left and took our business elsewhere. The guy had short hair and was wearing a black hoodie, with a gray shirt. I called and asked what the guys name was by his description and his name is Michael. Do you in your free time, but not at a place of business. I found it extremely unprofessional and will not be returning to thay location. Do better

was here today after trying to replace a turn signal bulb and ultimately dropping the bulb inside the headlight chamber, leaving it trapped. after seeking help from 2 other auto service places and them telling me no, i figured i would go to autozone and simply buy new bulbs and just leave the dropped one sitting in the chamber. however after explaining the situation, a younger employee (who's name i can't remember) was determined to get it out for me using a long bendy magnetic tool which was at first unsuccessful. but with the help of another employee, jared, and many trials and tribulations, we had success!!!! A1 customer service give these 2 fine young men raises!!!!

To return items you need your receipt AND the credit card used to procure the items. Tried to return items with the receipt, but my wife had my card. They weren't even able to give me a gift card for store credit. Now I have to wait "48 hours to return again for it to void the return in their system." Not the end of the world, but annoying the system works that way. I also got the impression the employees don't actually know how their computer system works.

They sold me a battery. After i waited in line.Said they couldn't see my veteran status in my account history. So demanded my ID. For the discount. Which by then I was so frustrated it was in my pocket but I went to the car to look for it...Meanwhile they had never even checked my battery. But they sold me a battery while my car was running with dogs in the vehicle and another adult who didn't want to be there .nir did i really.....and then the woman didn't offer to carry it out nir ask anyone else to.for me.. she just made sure i knew they coukd not switch out the battery. At all.I went to lift it off the counter and the woman says yeah its pretty heavy. I shook my head and started to walk out empty handed after I paid 209 dollars AND they said they couldnt put it in my car due to a start stop option I DOnT even HAVE! And something to do with electricity. And that I was being charged for the "core" of 22 extra dollars because no one could help change it out.I was about in tears and was ready to leave empty handed with just my receipt and no battery even after paying, when another employee picked up the battery and carried it out to my car. He set it in the back hatch area of my ford edge Since the seats were full of everyone waiting with the vehicle we had just waited an hour for a jump start to get to autozone to get a battery and see if that was the problem. It did not need to be so difficult.

My local store is pretty helpful. However, I bought the only radiator hose they carried for my truck. It didn't fit at all. I tried cutting it to length and such. No good. I threw it away. When I reviewed the part for Autozone, it was rejected because vehicle fitment cannot be part of the review. I think that is the most important part of the review!!!

Decent customer service, just one observation. I was looking for something specific, so a little help would've been appreciated. However, 3 employees were 'all in' helping one couple.... I was able to locate my need on my own.

The fact that every thing is approx $20 more costly than compared to Amazon is big issue. Now where have I seen this in the past ? Oh yes Toy R Us , circuit city, Bed Bath and Beyond etc. Also the simplest thing like LED headlights are not available.

Duane helped put in my battery this morning. I didn t know that there was bad corrosion to the point where the connectors were hard to get off the battery. He got them detached and the new battery installed really quick. Thank you Duane!!!!

Bought $220 new car battery, they no longer install them so when I arrived to pick it up I asked the gentleman at the counter to double check that I had the correct one then the lady accused me of double checking her as she was the one I spoke to on the phone. She was extremely rude and could use some charm school. Been a long time customer but will not return.12/26/2022 11:59am

It's close and convenient. Not my preferred place for parts. Staff could use customer service training. Grumpy feel every time I am there.

Accidentally had gotten the incorrect lightbulb (totally my mistake), so a kind worker helped me figure out what bulb I exactly needed. When I had gone back in to get the correct size the 'manager' was rushing me to finish my return, which I informed her that I was just going to grab the correct size and double check before finishing the return. I was then snapped at and told I needed to return it so they could use the computer for other things. Definitely wasn't handled correctly, and I felt like a burden for even stepping foot into the store. I sure hope they actually returned it, because I was given no confirmation.

I came in back in May I think to get an AC charger for my car. For whatever reason the attendant at the counter took the one I had picked off the shelves and gave me one from behind the counter. I charged my vehicle as directed by the pamphlet on the canister and it didn t fix the lack of AC. I take it to a mechanic and I am told all they had to do was charge it .which I did back in May. Not really sure why the one I had was exchanged for the one behind the counter but now I m out almost $200 which could have just been the $45 for the AC recharge canister. I feel like the one I was given from behind the counter was faulty or low on fluid.

Horrible customer service! Went in to get a RV battery charged. I was told we would know in 30 minutes if the battery was good, and fully charged within about 1 hour. She (I was told she's the manager...) said she was going to call me in 30 minutes to an hour. After a little more than 3 hours I called them. On hold for about 10 minutes!! Then a man came on the phone, seemingly inconvenienced by my call, saying the battery was bad. I've asked him how that could be being a new $300 RV battery.. Anyhow..my husband went to the store to get the battery back, the supposedly manager lady called a liar, saying she called me( no missed call on my phone) and I didn't answer.. well...needless to say we are not going there any more. O'Reilly took care of the issue for us. Customer service, knowledge of different types of Batteries and how they need to be charged, and a good overall understanding of products you are selling should be part of the job. There is no shame in admitting when you are wrong or simply don't know about something. At least this Auto zone store needs to learn that.

I know that the supply chain stinks at this time. However, the consistency of stock shouldn't affect ALL windshield wiper blade manufacturers evenly. Other companies are able to keep at least one supplier in stock. They didn't.

A female employee in her late fifty working in this store, she is the most rudest and unfriendly worker I met in the past years. Since the minute I stepped into the store, the only thing she showed me was her grumpy face. She was not helpful and quite inpatient. Obviously she got really bad memory. After repeating my phone number a few times, she still remember nothing. She is working for the wages only. I was quite upset with this horrible experience, I would never go back to that store anymore

I've had good experience in the past, but the last time I visited wasn't good. Prior to coming in last time, a guy at the establishment (whom was very nice, and well mannered) put in a new headlight for me. It was great, until I got home, and the next day realized it still didn't work. Called the store, another very nice man was cool about the situation, and said they'd replace it, no problem. Come in the same day, a lady (who appeared to be the manager, and had saw me the day before) helps me, and informs me mine was green, and theirs are blue. I don't know what she meant by it, it sounded like she was saying I changed headlights on purpose, and it wasn't their doing. Okay, like I don't even know anything about cars, hence why the guy had to put in the headlight for me the first time... so how would I even know how to change it? I didn't. This made me very angry, I just nodded my head, and went on with my day. I do not want to go back to this location, because how the lady was implying I was in the wrong, when they put in the bulb, not me. I mean maybe the manager was having a bad day or something, but still shouldn't bring it into the workplace in my opinion. This is the first bad review I've ever given any place, and it was just the one time deal. Hopefully this changes, next time. So I can update, and change my review for the better. Hate to post this.

Bulb QRcode led me astray to buying wrong part but manager was very helpful and installed my headlight for me and made no issue about the exchange for the correct lamp needed. I'll be back!

Always have a good experience with the people working. I ve been shopping here for a long time and I ve always had a great experience with Dale. He is very good employee and represents the store very well. I ve had very minimal issues especially with customer service compared to the other auto zones. 10/10

Nice ppl, poor returns policy. Was told to return item w/o receipt to store of purchase for direct refund to debit card bc the store housed original record of my lost receipt, otherwise I'd be issued a store credit via a debit card. Went back to store of purchase & was refused the courtesy of honoring what other store manager cited regarding policy. I cited policy as told at a closer store & was told call am store manager-who suggested I should have kept the merchandise until I found receipt or to now sell my in store debit card vs. returning my credit to my bank account. I don't prefer to be treated with the runaround & forced measure of Auto Zone keeping my funds even if I locate the receipt.

Dropped in to pick up something (I knew I could get 15% cheaper somewhere else) because it's close and should be quick here...Wait in line while two employees help others, then it's my turn. Card reader isn't working. Employee tries something, but still not working. He wanders away to help someone else. Have to start transaction over again at the next register. 30 minutes to pick up one can off the shelf.

Worst location I have ever been to!! I went in and asked for the part. He tells me $49.99.. and I said well how come I can order it online for in store pickup and it's $29.99? He told me, "OH our online prices are never right! You can't trust that price!" I turned and walked right out the door. I sat in my car and called the 53rd location and told him what I wanted. He told me it would be $29.99. So I went there and got it from them.. I told him what happened and he told me he couldn't even find something on the page for $49.99!! I feel like they saw I was a woman, said oh I can screw her over! I will never spend another dime at this store!!

Elderly employee told me guess we just didn t charge the battery you dropped off at 8am. 6pm go to pick it up and am greeted by two guys who belong in a nursing home not at a job where you are actually supposed to do something. We have no power and it s day three after the storm and I m going out of town, wanted the battery charged to hook up and inverter so my wife would have at least one fan or light while I m gone...

Super helpful when I asked for assistance choosing a new car battery. They installed it and made sure my car started after the battery was replaced. They wore masks, socially distanced and made sure everyone in the store socially distanced while in line.I also needed a key fob battery, so they helped me with that.I really appreciated their help!
