They definitely like to take advantage of you if you don t know about cars. Especially if they know you re desperate. However, I will say I am pleased with their work, so far. I m a young woman, and they heavily inflated their price when I took my car in. Had my dad take the car in, and it was considerably cheaper. Shame on this business for doing that. Other than that, no complaints. I d suggest calling around before settling for these prices. But know you can at least trust the job to get done.

They take good care of my 2017 Mini. They are knowledgeable and care about doing it right the first time.When the check engine light came on, they tracked down the cause and ordered the correct parts. It took awhile for the repairs to be completed, but that was because of waiting for parts to arrive.

Wanted to charge me $700 to do a job I literally did in 5 minutes with the help of YouTube (not including the $1500+ worth of extra work unrelated to the actual problem I came in with). Goes to show - ask good questions and watch tutorials. Avoid places like this and save yourself hundreds.

I am new to Bettendorf, and didn t know where to take my car when I was hearing a noise while driving. I found Ace on Google and decided to use them based upon their online reviews. I couldn t have been happier that I made that choice. Their service was exemplary, treating me as if I had gone there for years. Their work, in replacing my brakes, was outstanding! They built a trust that I can take my car to them and it will be cared for with more than fair pricing.

My mother took my uncles car (who has mentally challenges that they knew of) they cleaned the oil under the car, replaced oil pan gasket and sealed oil pan. First roundCost 700. Picked up car. He drove it for a day in half. It overheated. Housing thermostat broke, replaced housing unit. So then they did an expensive test that was unnecessary second go round cost 800 out the door. And then they tried to say that they needed to replace the whole engine for 9,000. We decided to take it to another mechanic in which they only needed to do a good tune up and the car has been driving perfectly since. This place definitely missed Diagnosed from the get go. And I think it s an absolute disgrace. Very disappointed he did even get his discount for having AAA, until we repeated it multiple times. Otherwise would not have gotten it. If you don t know about cars personally, I wouldn t recommend believing them. Asked for owner to call after he get off vacation and never Received one.

These guys are the best. They've been taking care of my 2004 Silverado for about 15 years. I don't drive it much, but still needs regular maintenance and things are wearing down. Just had a problem with fluid leak and they took care of it. Outstanding service!

my repair went very quick .Everyone in the office and the crew practically involved with my vehicle and other vehicles in their shop .From Choice of battery to getting fully diagnosed or not if my alternator is doing its job .WeAther has been near cold in the minus temps . Usually older batteries lose a year of its life anyway . My old battery went to heaven 2weeks sooner than I had wanted .Fully satisfied . " I will be back for my electrical check on my alternator" soon .

I received a truck from my gpa when he passed there were a few little things that needed to be done on it and this place not only helped get it checked out for free but then offer financing which we were approved for. So far so good. I d def recommend

Absolute professionals. They did a full vehicle inspection to inform us of any potential issues or repairs, but did not pressure us at all. Explained our needs and budget and they helped us make an informed decision on what was needed now versus what can wait. Thank you so much!

My truck had some issues that took an extensive front to rear inspection. It was an unfamiliar car, 1986 Alfa Romeo, but they did the due diligence to find the correct replacement parts and learn the correct installation methods. New thermostat, Wats link, and steering rack. Larry and the folks at Ace Auto Doctor & Repair continually give me good, swift and cost-effective repairs for my trusty lil SUV. I recommend them to everyone and won't go anywhere else, for anything having to do with my vehicle. This time Nicki, Dustin, Mark, plus the Repair Team found some Transmission Fluid leaking, after completing my regular Semi-Synthetic Oil Change. They had to perform a Steam Clean of the undercarriage to clear all the slush and salt away, then a Dye Test to find the culprit area that was leaking. It was determined that the 2- front Axle Seals needed to be replaced. So, they scheduled me in for the next Tuesday and then even gave me a loaner to use, so as not to have to wait there, in there busy, albeit comfy, waiting room. They called me when my SUV was done, the next day I drove there in the loaner car they provided (to return it), I paid the fee and drove home my newly repaired and properly maintained vehicle, happy in the fact that I got good service at a fair price, by an honest, knowledgeableand friendly staffed repair shop.Thank you Ace Auto Doctor & Repair-Christopher Sehmann

The grandkids were entertained and even the dog was welcomed while waiting for the repairs! I tried to keep the dog in the stroller, but she kept jumping out....they seemed to be okay with her, she was quiet and clean.

I had a very good experience. Great service and they gave me a ride home after I dropped off my car and they even offered to come pick me up to get it. They looked over my car and gave me a breakdown of what needed to be fixed with the estimates. I am very happy with the service they provided and will definitely take my car back when needing to.

Everyone at ACE were very helpful and my car was evaluated right away. I received a fair estimate. I ultimately decided to wait until I got to my home state, judging by their professionalism and efficiency I would have trusted them to do a great job on my car.

I use Ace Auto for EVERYTHING auto related. Fantastic customer service, fair prices and the detailed information I get on my vehicle every time I am in is so much appreciated. Incredible service!We were on our way to Colorado from the Chicago area when our air conditioning decided to stop working. It just so happened to be the hottest week of the summer. We stopped at ACE to see if there was any way we could find a solution. Thinking the worst, I figured we were going to have to head home, but Niki got her team together and solved our problem. Back on the road and vacation bound again. ACE fixed our AC and saved our vacation. Highly recommend these guys!

Over the weekend my car started squeaking. The dealership couldn t get me in, but I called Ace Auto, and Dawn was able to get me in. I arrived to a very nice lounge area. I explained I felt a rock was in my brakes. As the noise started after being on a gravel road, but wanted to make sure it was nothing else. The mechanic came out and explained it was a rock and no damage thankfully had happened. I will be taking my car here from now on. Honestly and fast service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very honest, professional service and attitude. Addressed and repaired the issues, let me know all the major/minor problems concerning my vehicle, provided the quote upfront, did the work fast and efficient. This is the place to bring your car problems, for sure.

Fantastic!!My Honda CRV s AC went out. I went to Firestone first and they claimed they would be able to fix the issue. After multiple parts being installed and thousands of dollars, the issue was still not fixed. I gave up with Firestone and decided to look elsewhere. Ace Auto Doctor & Repair was able to find the problem and fix it right away. They clearly know what they are doing and are 100% trustworthy. I will be taking my car here in the future for all repair needs!

I cannot believe what great treatment, service and communication we received from Ace. They are truly one of the good ones in the auto repair world. We were back on the road in no time and were completely thrilled with the level of detail and attention given to us. I have not encountered a better auto repair shop in decades. Very professional and provided us with an incredible report on the entire vehicle. We were just traveling through and were treated like a long time customer. Can't ask for more than that. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Even got us a rental. Would have given them 10 stars if possible. Thanks to the team at Ace.Services: Carburetor cleaning, General repairs & maintenance

ACE auto doctors did a great job they got our vehicle in very quickly. And also gave me options for the repairs to fit my budget. waited 5 days to get my car diagnosed under a hour. oh and when I brought in I never was I told an INITIAL fee was gonna take place ONLY a fee after an hour. get a call oh heres a fee we never mentioned on the phone and while you were here. shouldve just went to the dealership better prices and service. Close to 2k difference in repair that was offered as well, def call around before you close the deal.
