I came from out of state to buy my truck I found at Thys, and the entire process was seamless. I got into contact with josh and he was able to get me a few more photos and information I wanted to know about the truck. Josh was able to get me into contact with Ryan after I decided I was coming out to get the truck. When I showed up at the dealership Josh already had the truck washed and sitting out front for me to look at. Ryan had all of the paperwork ready for me to sign and get on the road. I drove the truck 750 miles back home and it performed flawlessly no surprises whatsoever. In total the process at the dealership took about 45 minutes definitely recommend for anyone looking for a vehicle.

I bought my first brand new truck from Thys, 2023 Ram 3500. The transaction was seamless and the prices were unbeatable. Josh was able to explain everything about the truck, and there wasn t a whole lot of back and forth with the sales manager. He made the experience great and delivered a great sale. Combat Santa (epic beard) in the finance department was also great to work with! 5/5 stars, we will definitely be back for future purchases!

I found a vehicle I was looking for online, price was right so I made a call over to Thys. Josh in Sales was straightforward on the condition of the truck, sent me a video walk around and we made the deal over the phone a couple days later. I drove 4 hours one way and met with Ryan in Finance who was great and really helped me get a decent interest rate (lower than my credit union) with a great extended warranty. It was a painless process and I was in and out in no time. Totally worth the drive out and I couldn't be happier with the new to me Ram 1500 Laramie. Thanks again fellas!

I emailed on a Friday night at 9:30 inquiring about a vehicle and Josh got back to me right away yet that night. He then helped me out through the weekend answering questions and getting me set up with Tyler, the salesman, to be able to test drive the vehicle the next week. When I drove down and test drove the vehicle, Tyler had it out front and all ready for me, as I couldn't get there until 5:30 and they closed at 6:00. After deciding to purchase the vehicle that night, both Tyler and Ryan stayed late to get the financing all done so I didn't have to make another 3 hour round trip to come back and get the vehicle. Great service!!

If you don't want a 'high pressure but a small town friendly car dealer that can meet your car needs, you need to travel to Thys Auto Group in Belle Plaine. Salesman Tyler Chekal was great to work with. No sales pressure. Quite knowledgeable. Ryan Paul in Finance was not a high sales pressure person. He was upfront and honest. He has gone above and beyond in helping me after the sale!! I highly recommend both these individuals if you're looking for a new or used vehicle. Take the drive to Belle Plaine it's worth your time!!

I visited Thys for a 2020 Durango RT. They had it at the front and ready to go, and David Koch came out to greet me. This was by far the best experience I've had with a dealership. David walked me around the car, gave a brief overview, then we sat in the interior and went over all the options. I took the car for a spin and mentioned a rattle, and their team was all over it and agreed they wouldn't let me leave without it being fixed. I've heard the friendly dealership phrase before, but these guys are the real deal. There was zero pressure the entire time. I hope to be back and will spread the word. For the buyer, its about the thrill/excitement of a new car you've worked very hard for. An overly aggressive sales team can make that a negative experience with buyer remorse after the deal is finished. It seems difficult these days to see that point of view. The team at Thys gets it, and from my experience I hope they don't change a thing. Well done, guys. Sincerely.

I recently purchased a truck from Thys Motor company and the experience could not have been better. I am from Minnesota and found the vehicle online on their website. I was a bit nervous about driving a few hours to a different state to buy a car. I gave Thys Motor Company a call, and Josh was extremely helpful during the sales process. He was very knowledgeable and helped start the process over the phone. I sent them photos of my trade in, and he gave me an estimate over the phone. This was very helpful as I didn't want to drive down, and have a number I wasn't happy with. Josh then put me in contact with Ryan in the finance department who was incredibly nice and knowledgeable about the process. Ryan did a great job making the purchase process efficient and not wasting my time like other dealership. The whole team was friendly and made me feel welcome.I would recommend this dealership and team to all of my friends. I could not have asked for a better experience.

We have been to many a car dealership but none such as Thy's Motor Company in Belle Plaine. Salesman Tyler Chekal treated us as if we were old friends. He answered all of our questions pertaining to the vehicle of which we were interested. There was no pressure which made us feel very at ease. Ryan Paul in finance was equally as friendly and also a no pressure person. He was concerned about us getting the best deal and explored all avenues available. When we mentioned that we wanted to check with our hometown financial institution he was in compliance. He even went as far as taking the vehicle we were interested in down from the website enabling us to purchase the vehicle without problem.I highly recommend THYS MOTOR COMPANY in BELLE PLAINE for your next car purchase! Was so nervous and excited to purchase my first new vehicle. Josh walked me through step by step and answered all my questions, there were a lot! When my vehicle came in they had it ready for me! They shared my excitement and made the experience unforgettable! Would recommend purchasing a vehicle from them to anyone!!

Bought my first truck from them in 2006. It was the only RAM2500 Cummins crew,4x4 long box manual i could find. I went back 16 yrs later to trade it in for a newer truck. Josh was super helpful and personable yet not pushy. I brought my German shepherd into the showroom and Josh got her water and petted her. We talked price on a 2018 RAM Bighorn 1500 then trade in value. They agreed to replace a couple tires on the Bighorn and would have it ready the next day. We shook hands and the deal was done. Next day i returned and was met by Josh again, greeted by several more employees and was shown into the office for the paperwork. Brian is also a veteran,courteous, knowledgeable and explained everything. I drove off with a freshly detailed truck and a full tank of gas. I wont buy anywhere else!

First off if anyone is in the market for a new vehicle you definitely should go to Thys Motors in Belle Plainer. The price was very reasonable. Dave our salesman was a true gem, thank you Dave. Best vehicle service around! I personally drive 35 minutes because of the great work they do! And the service staff is exceptional, professional, and thorough. Jessie and Lisa are awesome! They take the extra care just to remember your name and always go the extra mile to provide exemplary customer service.Highly recommend scheduling a cold weather check up for your vehicle. You will see why they are #1 in my book.

I am not sure who monitors this, but I wanted to send my appreciation to the entire Thys Location in Belle Plaines. Unfortunately my daughter was stranded in Iowa (we are from St. Louis, MO) with a broken down Jeep Grand Cherokee. After a recommendation to have it towed to Thys, we did just that. I called Lisa (Breja) to explain what happened and ask if it is ok to have the Tow Truck deliver my car to the dealership and see if they could get it worked on. From the moment I started working with Lisa, she could not have been any more pleasant or helpful. My sincere thank you to Lisa Breja for her kind approach to a difficult situation. Even this afternoon she called me to tell me that the vehicle is repaired and ready for pickup after doing not 1, but 2 test drives to make sure the vehicle is operating well. Thanks to the service organization. The owners of this dealership should be very proud of the front line workers!!! They did a Fantastic Job!!! Thank you very much.

Worth the drive!!All touch points were flawless. From great pricing for our trade-in, excellent customer support through our custom order process with Dave, on hand technology training/walk thru, and Ryan prepped all paperwork, so it was extremely quick and easy. We can t say enough wonderful things about the staff at Thys.We also go there for our other vehicle maintenance and always receive wonderful customer care.

I bought a used 2015 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel. The truck was very well detailed and looked immaculate. I worked with Josh who was very personable and let me do my thing when checking it out. Ryan got me through the finance side of things with no pushing and clear communication.As I was getting through my first tank of fuel I encountered an issue where I was losing fuel pressure at a quarter of a tank. I reached out to Josh to check on what the truck recieved when it went through their shop and explained what I was experiencing. They were able to come to Marshalltown to pick up my truck, took it back to Belle Plaine, diagnosed the in tank fuel pump as the issue, and got it back to me the same day. I Purchased the truck as-is and they did not have to do this. The fact that they stood behind my purchase has earned my business and praise moving forward

Very pleasant place to have my car serviced. Susie answered the phone and put the call into service dept where I talked to Jessie to get my car worked on. Both gals were very polite quick and thorough on answering my questions. Lisa was willing to come to my place of employment to pick up and return my car!! Tara had a smile to welcome me when I went and paid my bill!! What a great group of ladies the have at Thys Motors!!

Dave in sales and Ryan in finance are amazing, by far the best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had. We ordered a Hybrid Jeep Wrangler 4Xe, this was the first one to come through the dealership. Every step along the way Dave kept us updated as the Jeep was being built and shipped. Dave had everything prepared and spent extra time printing some things out for us to look at related to charging at home as well! Finance went by far better than I could have expected. None of the usual games, hidden fees, or charges. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Long story short I would absolutely buy from them again! I test drove a 2016 Chevy Silverado on a Friday, that Sunday a hail storm came through and damaged the truck. It was a long process going through insurance BUT Josh was amazing at keeping me updated, even would call or text after he was done for the day to make sure I got an update! Ryan was very easy to work with too! He made the paperwork side of everything so smooth and ended up getting me a better rate, which is fantastic!

In the last 2years I have bought 3 vehicles from Josh. I keep coming back because Josh is always honest with me treating me with respect instead of a stupid woman. My husband and I just bought our Durango from Thys Motor. They were very easy to work with. Josh was wonderful from beginning to end. From the first phone call to answer questions and get info when we were just looking at vehicles, to the test drive, and even driving off the lot. He even contacted us a few days later to see how the vehicle was running. He was wonderful and very helpful especially since we are from out of town. Overall great experience. We recommend Thys Motor.

I ha da GREAT experience with Thys! Being 400+ miles away, they sent me additional photos I had requested and reserved the truck I had wanted until I could come down for 2 weeks. Everyone was SUPER professional and made my truck buying experience easy. I would recommend to anyone if they found a vehicle at Thys that they will be treated right!

Just flew from Colorado to Iowa to pick up a truck at Thys Motor Company. Josh, Skeeter & Susie had great customer service and expedited the truck purchase easily and quickly. They were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable - very helpful! The photos on their website depicted the truck perfectly and we were extremely pleased with the Chevy S-10 truck. Would purchase another vehicle from them - a great Team at a great dealership!
