Rigo was super fast and helpful in sorting us with a battery swap, took probably about 15-20 minutes in total for us to get through the whole process.Please give my man some gloves though :u It was cold as hell out

Staff seems to be fairly low IQ. If you are a woman do not listen to anything they say. They either don't know what they're talking about or don't care

Quick stop to get a headlight bulb swapped out. They had the bulb in stock, and we were back on the road after a quick parking lot fix.

I like this store dont get me wrong. Just hard to figure out special bushings or any deeper car problems besides the basic oil change ,radiator fluids, window washing fluid,filters and alot of electrical bulbs. If ur tearing your axel apart or puting body mounts on especially with dodge it seems like systems dont carry the parts. Try to figure out ur own part number in there system though. Cause the factory one has never matched for me.

What is it about this store! I have been buying from this location since 2003 if my memory serves me correctly. I have dealt with several different counter people over these years. This location has always had parts within one day or less for my 66 Impala, my 67 GMC and a 54 GMC as well as all of my newer cars! One associate even found parts for the engine in my 1991 Lincoln Pipeliner welder A Canadian welder with a Diesel engine! I just can t even think of buying from anyone else!!!

I was in earlier today trying to find a turn signal bulb. The bulb that came up in the system was wrong. The ast. Manager jd spent a good amount to time making sure I got what I needed. Give that man a raise!

The Assistant Manager, Kelley, was very professional, courteous and helpful. She helped me pick out the parts needed and assisted with installation. It was good to see a woman behind the counter, I did not feel intimidated.

Had my Dad pick up brake pads for my car bc I was at work. I told my dad to have them look up the car info under my account but they said it would take too long. So I m not sure what they looked up but now I have to take the extra time between working two jobs to exchange the wrong item. If they would have done what they were told I would have my car back but now I have to wait an extra day bc of the wrong parts.

Employees do NOT know how to find parts always saying, "well ,we have to special order them!!" There was one manager I think it was Dennis they called him was the most understanding, knowledgeable and helpful man I have ever had the pleasure to have met me and my husband both enjoyed his helpfulness. I'm not sure where is now they have said he isn't working a few times I have called ;( well Dennis I hope you are coming back soon. If not sorry oreilys I won't be back

RJ and Zachary were both knowledgeable and so helpful when I came in to have my battery tested! They were so friendly and made me feel comfortable when I asked questions. RJ even explained to me what happens when your alternator tests high. I will continue to do business here and highly recommend O'Reilly in Ankeny!

After being told by another local auto parts store they were too short staffed to install a replacement car battery, Randy at O Reilly gladly helped even though it was -8�F, there was a constant rush of customers also needing help with their batteries, & there was only one other employee working with him (who was also helping customers in the cold). Did I mention I didn t even buy the battery here, just a hardware accessory? These guys are great!

Hands down best customer service I have ever had. Randy took the time to not only replace my battery, clean ALL the corrosion around my battery but explained what he was doing throughout the process. Yes, I know it s just a battery but customer service like this does not exist anymore. Thank you Randy! You are truly a remarkable person and we should all strive to be kind and caring like you.

I had help yesterday changing my car battery out, and while I know it's something offered, I was still so happy that they could help me out. I never got the guy's name, but he was really nice about the whole thing. Took the stress right out of my week!

Went in for wipers,and the staff was very helpful in making my decision. They didn't push the most expensive, nor the cheapest. Said all of the employees used these,and pointed out they have a one year warranty. He also took the time to explain how to install them.

I don't know a lot about cars, but when one of my headlights the staff were so helpful with helping me find what I needed and showing me how to do replace it. It was very affordable and had a very comfortable atmosphere. I didn't feel overwhelmed or ashamed that I didn't know how to fix it like some places make me feel. It was just a very good experience over all.

The girl that helped me was extremely rude. I went in for a headlight and she came out to see if she was able to change it. She immediately said no without even looking under the hood. Went right over to Autozone and they changed it for me in less than 5 minutes without having to remove anything but the headlight. It was clear she didn t know what she was doing and had no interest in doing her job even minimally. 1 star is being generous.

Location and parking excellent. Pretty darn good hours as well. Staff usually friendly and knowledgeable. Prices have slowly been going up for years but still not enough to turn away my business. I do recommend this auto-part store.

Went in last week to get a new battery. One day later, my car wouldn t start again. I called AAA to check my battery and alternator and it came back that my battery was bad and my alternator was fine. I went in to exchange the battery and the guy who helped me was extremely rude. He said he needed to test the battery I brought back, which I understand, but we waited 10 minutes after he dismissively told me it was probably my alternator, and that the battery was probably fine. Then he finally said the test was taking longer than usual so he d just exchange it so we could go . I d imagine the test confirmed that they had sold me a bad battery, as the new one I got is working just fine and my car is now running perfectly. Also, while he was ringing us up he got a video call which he answered while he was ringing up our new battery and he started video chatting with someone about the new Chris Pratt sci fi movie while we were waiting which seemed extremely wild. I ll never be back.

So happy with the customer service! My car s battery died right before heading hours away for the weekend. I called and Will came to my car to replace the battery! It was -4 degrees outside even! He went out of his way after his scheduled hours to help me out! So so thankful! Thanks again Will!

Just returned a bad battery that I bought in November. I've had my car in the shop alot trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Finally the test showed the battery drained on its own. When I returned it, the cashier was horribly rude. Cursing, slamming things and stomping. All because after the transaction was finished he told us the warranty was the same as the old battery even though it was a new battery. So we asked if we can just return it and buy a new one so we can get a full warranty. He kept telling us it was f'king the system if we did that. So we asked if we could upgrade and then he all of a sudden became nice. Must be because the store made extra money from his hissy fit. I used to buy all my parts from o'reilly's but I will change my store from now on. No reason anyone should be treated like that.

We were rented a fuel line pressure test kit. We noticed in the store it was missing pieces, they denied. We had to come back after it didn't work along the interstate... Not great bud. Not great.

Needed a new battery. They tested the old battery to confirm that was the issue. They helped me pick out a new battery and they had it replaced in 15 minutes. Great service from Brant in Ankeny, IA location!!
