I've been bringing my vehicle here since Fall 2022 and LOF is always great to work with. I drive about 500+ miles per week, so I feel like I take my car in fairly often, and I always trust LOF to do the best job. Since day one they've always been very honest and thorough, explaining the process and how they've checked all the fluids, never pushing me to add a service if I need it to wait and it's safe to do so. They're fast, efficient, professional, and always very friendly and welcoming, even at the end of the day (like today when that was the only time I had to take it in). A big thank you to the whole team, I've been helped by several technicians, all of them fantastic! Special shout outs to Levin, who has helped me a few times, and Dustin who helped me today--they're both very courteous and have gone the extra mile to make sure my car runs smoothly!

First time using this business, normally I go to dealership, but tired of long wait for an oil change.LOF was great! So quick & easy! No upsell pressure, they explain the different services & customer picks what they want. The customer stays in vehicle entire time. I will definitely use their service again. Highly recommended

For over 20 years, I've gone to a franchise shop for my oil changes. After a work associate recommended LOF Xpress, I decided to give them a shot. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and everyone was super friendly. It was everything I never knew I wanted in an oil change experience. I highly recommend them.

I have been using LOF since 2019 when we first moved to Ankeny. They are consistently wonderful and always honest with me. I got an oil change in Dec 2023 with them and over the past couple of weeks I noticed oil was leaking. It had now been a few months since my oil change, so I definitely didn t think it was anything they did, but I wanted them to take a look at it and they kindly did! They checked everything and ended up changing my oil filter and topping me off with no charge just to be safe. They provide great trustworthy service and my family and I will continue to utilize their services! Thank you for being so wonderful!

I've never really left a review before but for them I have to. Everyone was so kind and helpful with everything. It also only took 30 minutes for them to inspect my whole vehicle and let me know everything I need. Reasonable prices, and everything is 10 out of 10!!

I gave this gimmick a try back in November ('23) for an oil change that was due. I went during the Early Bird Special. I was quite surprised on how awesome the service was. I did buy the engine/fuel additives, due to the type of motor (sport performance) that is in my vehicle.I went back again for my next oil change, and once again, awesome service.I will continue to give LOF (Ankeny) my routine maintenance needs on my vehicle for the foreseeable future.

I love LOF! So fast yet so thorough! They show you your oil level before and after your service. They offer extra services but don t push if you decline. Amazed it s not a franchise because it s so good! Express service has never taken more than 20 minutes and typically I would say it s 10 minutes or less! Amazing *Ankeny and Ames both do amazing jobs!

Very impressed with the service here. Every staff member was friendly and attentive. The education they gave me on my fluids, appropriate levels, and recommendations was the best I ve ever received. The inside of LOF Express was very inviting and relaxing. The service was done in a timely manner and they gave us cold waters and there were other drinks to choose from while we waited as well. Would highly recommend!

One year ago, our normal "express" oil change service was closed so I drove over to LOF. LOF Xpress is simply the best! Their service is super easy, FAST, and friendly. After my first visit, I recommended it to my husband, and now he's a loyal customer, too. It's our go-to spot for vehicle care. Every visit has been top-notch - highly recommend!

I have gone to LOF express for a while now - generally a very positive experience - usually helpful friendly workers- until this week when I came to get an oil change. One representative was talking to me about filling the washer fluid when another worker came up who had checked my oil and began showing me what it looked like and the amount - he had said it was half low , since the first worker was still talking I waited until he was finished to ask a clarifying question- what is half low ? Is it half a quart or half total - he said I don t know I didn t check itHe proceeded to go to the front of my car while my window was down and complain about me asking what half low meant and how he couldn t check it now it had already been drained, as he came back around my car I apologized if me asking a clarifying question upset him and he acted as if he hadn t just said what he did. The worker who checked it came back around and clarified what it meant with no issue. 4 times in 3 minutes I was asked to reset my oil light - I explained that s not an issue as my car doesn t have one that needs reset - 4 different workers came to reset this light that I don t even haveI explained 4 times they had previously never ever had to reset anything - they just give me the sticker for the window and we move on with life. The same first representative who had an issue with me asking the clarifying question also asked me if I wanted my tires aired up, I told him sure if they need it- he then asked what I wanted them aired up to - this is misleading because if you re asking me if I wanted them aired up I assume you think they are low- and I also assume you know what they need aired up to. Entire experience was very unpleasant - I felt as if I had burdened them just by asking one clarifying question. I would mention their names but they are not on their shirts and never told me their names.

People were great. Service was great. The bill with my discount was good too. They told me it was about a 30 minute wait but it was closer to an hour. Just a lot longer than I imagined. Pulled into the line to check in just after 3, checked in with my order about 3:15 and I was leaving a little after 4:30.

I ve been to other oil change businesses over the years and ended up doing my own oil changes for the past 15 years. I thought I d give you guys a try. I m overall pleased with your service. I brought in my wife s car for an oil change several months ago and was very pleased also. One thing I noticed diffferent this time is that no sticker was applied to my interior glass with service info for next oil change

I ve been taking both my cars here for the past several years. These guys are professional, hospitable, quick, knowledgeable, with a servants heart I don t think I ve had a single experience stopping in where they haven t greeted me with a warm Hello and offered a fresh cup of Joe. Side note: The setting in the lobby is super cozy, offers a lot of natural light, and is great for unwinding and reading a novel for a short bit if you ever get a 17-point inspection done. Top-notch service from top-to-bottom!

My visit to LOF was so satisfying. I went in for an oil change and a coolant flush and they did it all within like 20 minutes. I just sat in my car while it got done. They showed me how dirty my coolant was which it was and they showed me my clear oil after the oil change in my car I am so impressed. Plus they were super super nice, I can t wait to go there again. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing an oil change drive on in they re the best.

Today was my 3rd time getting my oil changed at LOF and it was another great experience. I was able to get right in and everyone is so personable and friendly. I bring my dogs with me and they always get a treat while we are there! Fast and friendly service which I appreciate so much. Thank you!

Josiah and Nash were awesome with my 6 yr old Honda Civic. All of the services and options were explained. I feel my car runs noticeably better. LOF went above and beyond checking some things out on my car that I wanted looked at even though it s not related to services LOF offers. Thank you guys!

I went here because they sent me a 50% of coupon for new customers and I just moved here so I did not have a regular mechanic yet. Typical oil change place, trying to upsell you constantly on everything. I got a synthetic oil change and opted for the no name oil below Mobil 1. They charged an extra 10 dollars for a European engine fee. Yeah, I could see all of the extra trouble they had to go through with my special Volvo oil plug and filter. Maybe a metric wrench is harder to turn, I'm not sure. After the 50% discount, my total was 54 dollars and some change. So without the new customer discount, this place is way overpriced. I had my other car at walmart last week for tires and had them perform a synthetic oil change and they charged 56 dollars without all of the upsell attempts.

I got an inspection done on my truck and Josiah was a gangster explaining what was going on and reassuring me of there services. absolutely coming back for the great cus service. in my professional opinion as a customer i think josiah needs a raise on god.

So quick, (and they thought they were slow today! ), and so personable! I will never go anywhere else for an oil change! They also replaced my wiper blades at cost, and filled my tires up! They are awesome!

Busy Saturday, still fast and friendly. I ve been going here since they opened. I ve never had a bad experience. Today was no different. You can see everything that s being done to your vehicle, under the hood and under your vehicle. The convenience, service and friendly staff keeps me coming back.

This was my first time at the drive-thru oil change. A gentleman named David helped get some basic information at the beginning. I informed him that I'd be paying with a gift card and he made a note of it. He gave me clear instructions of where to go and what to do. As I drove into the bay the gentleman there keep clear instructions on where to go and what to do. I was asked what I wanted to drink while I waited. One gentleman went to get me coffee while two others started on the oil change. The gentleman up top showed me the dipstick with my oil. ( Mine was a little dirty) They brought me my coffee and while the oil was draining they aired up my tires. I loved that they had a monitor that I could watch what they were doing under the hood as well as under the vehicle. After the oil had drained and they had replaced the oil and filter I restarted my vehicle for a brief time, then before payment they had me shut off the vehicle and showed me the dipstick again with clean oil at the appropriate level. The gentleman in the bay had looked at the notes and was aware that I was going to be using a gift card. One gentleman helped another gentleman process the gift card both were speaking to each other in a respectful way with clear communication. Before leaving I was given another smile by the team and well wishes for my day. This was a great experience, this will be the new place for oil changes for our household. Great work LOF team I look forward to seeing you in the future.

They didn t add oil before they told me to start engine. Told me they did. Hopefully I won t incur engine problems because of this. Other than that they were super helpful and did a good job. I ve never had this issue before, but just a weird deal.

I ve gone to LOF the past few years for oil changes. I ve never had a negative experience. It is pricey, but the convenience is great and I ve always had a positive experience. Today, I went to LOF Ankeny for an oil change. Dustin helped me when I first pulled up and even gave me recommendations of places to go for vehicle parts. He then came and introduced himself and offered me a beverage. Tristan, was the one who changed me oil and he also gave me recommendations on places to take my vehicle for other services. They both went above and beyond. Give them a raise!

I've been coming to LOF since they had there grand opening in Ames. It used to be great, it was fast and reasonably priced. Prices keep going up and it takes longer and longer.Today it took around 2 hours just for a oil change and tire rotation, which they quoted me would be 25 minutes and over $100. I might have to start looking elsewhere.

Their service is outstanding. The tech showed me, and explained the services he recommended for my Rav. There s no pressure for extra services. They also distribute coupons regularly and you receive reward points that can be used for future services.

Always a great experience at LOF Xpress! For this quick morning oil change I had a few kids in the car and the employees were friendly and engaging with them. I would (and do!) recommend LOF to anyone whose vehicle needs regular oil changes!

I visited LOF Xpress in Ankeny this morning for the first time. Historically I've gone to other drive thru oil change providers and had a wait of up to an hour and spent almost $30 more for my oil change, and I even did a fuel system supplement. All employees I interacted with were friendly and informed me of what they were going to do. I thought it was neat that I could see through video the work being performed above and below the car. From taking information to leaving the garage was less than 15 minutes. I've left not even an hour ago and I've already recommended their service to someone else and will definitely be back!
