This is probably the nicest auto shop I have been too. They were able to get my car in and get it diagnosed and are currently working on it. I do believe I will be continuing business with them if/as needed. It is refreshing to speak with people who are nice and polite and it shifts a lot from some of the other auto places I have gone to, which have been a headache and more. If I could give more than 5 stars I totally would!

Have had my car serviced here 3 times now and have had an excellent experience each time. Not pushy with any additional services. Only friendly recommendations and car care advice. Will be my go to place for the foreseeable future.

I brought in my winter vehicle (2008 Nissan Altima w/ 225k miles) last October and they ve repaired it multiple times at this point with not charging me any additional fees. Jack has been phenomenal to work with and Pete was very fair in helping me in the process as well as it s needed towed a couple times. I can tell this company cares about its clients and their reputation to the community. Highly recommended, I don t plan on using any other car repair service in the future.

I called asking for a quote for some brake work and was given a quote, "And you can take that to the bank" I was told. Next week I came in for the appointment and they got it done faster than I expected. When I came up to pay the bill was higher than I was expecting. Now I had planned for the first amount and only a little more (for taxes). I mentioned that I was expecting the first amount and didn't have enough to cover the current bill. So I asked if I could pay the bulk now and the rest later only to be met with, "Oh ya, I remember you, calling in for the quote." He took the bill, threw it away, and rang up the quote that I was promised when I had called in (plus tax of course). It was a weight off my shoulders. I recommend this shop to any who needs maintenance on their cars due to their exceptionally friendly service, speedy turnaround, cleanliness of the store, as well as the shuttle service if you want to use it. The only complaint is that they have so much business, it's hard to find a place to park. Although I'm hearing that they are working on it.If they keep these standards, they will have my business as well as my wife's.God bless you.

They were knowledgeable and it was refreshing to see them not take all opportunities to oversell on things that didn't need repair. They were quick to schedule the servicing (next day) and made sure | had shuttles and a courtesy car in the meantime.They were everything I could dream of in a trusted mechanic. They've got a lifetime customer!

I personally would not recommend this place which is disappointing because I see all the great reviews. I don't trust the work will be done correctly the first time so you will have to bring it back in. I also just had the worse experience with them for my bf car to the point they failed their own business mission statement.

Always wonderful service. They give great rates and stick to those quotes very closely. If it's urgent, they get you in. Great with the basics, too.

These guys replaced the heater core in my wife's car, and she was floored. They stayed almost exactly on the quoted price, fixed the issue, and even spot-detailed the dashboard and console of the car. Plus, the shuttle service helped us retrieve the car and was a huge convenience. Thanks guys!

Took the company truck here. Work in Ames and went out of my way to take a 2009 dodge 1500 to them in Ankeny based on an employees review and he absolutely nailed it with his reccomendation of Christian Brothers. This place is one of the most honest automotive shops I've ever worked with. The drop off process was simplified. The check out and paying over the phone was ease. They didn't sell me anything I didn't need and were completely honest throughout the process. They gained a customer with this one....6/5 stars if I could

Excellent place to have your vehicle worked on. Front desk is knowledgeable and courteous. Both of my vehicles were fixed properly and promptly (same day). I'm deeply appreciative of the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, the transparent pricing for services that are both competitive but fair to the customer AND staff. They dropped my vehicle off to me and picked it back up to finish the work. I'm proud to recommend them to anyone I hear asking for mechanic recommendations. Will be a regular after my recent experience! I had my tires replaced, a systems flush, new brakes, and had sensor repair done as well. My husband I dropped off my very problematic work-vehicle (2005 Murano that s seen some rough days/driving) for a diagnostic once the Service Engine light came on. We knew going into this, it was hyper unlikely that this vehicle would be worth repairing but wanted to at least know to what extent the vehicle was on its way out as it was already a problematic car upon very cheap purchase from around 4 years ago, that s driven around 200-250 miles a day in Iowa for my job. We have driven this car well past the point of its better days!All that to say: Christian Brother s not only let us drop off the same day we called, they were beyond friendly and honest with the vehicles diagnostic. Including photos of said damages, explaining that it could absolutely have a catastrophic accident if we continued to drive it - their honesty in all of this and opinion of puttin it out to pasture was so refreshing! We are extremely realistic when it comes to repairs and maintenance and we couldn t be more appreciative that they share the same values, instead of taking us to the proverbial cleaners monetarily to try and get it up and running. Prices with them are beyond fair for their integrity, honesty and delightful customer service. We will be coming back for any and future services on our personal (and not so alarmingly dangerous) cars in the future! : )Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Christian Brothers is great. They stand by their work. They made an adjustment on a repair they did months ago for me at no extra charge. I have had plenty of work on my vehicle done there. I've been doing to other repair shops for 50+ years and found Christian Brothers to be the best ever.Their management, staff and shop personnel are top notch.They "talk the talk AND walk the walk".A rating of 5 is not enough and is a 10 for me.A true faith based company.Service: Auto maintenance

This is the fourth time I have taken a vehicle to CBA. They knew me by name and despite having a full parking lot managed to get my vehicle looked at and diagnosed.They called me and told me that my home fix I did on the vehicle had solved the problem. And they gave me a detailed estimate on other things the vehicle will need in the future.They knew those things were probable future business (they /will/ be) and did the full diagnosis as a courtesy! Who does that anymore? CBA that's who. I got the report and estimate and had a thorough discussion on safety issues and the most economical way to deal with the vehicle's issues.Free ride to go pick it up too.

Took my friend's vehicle in because the breaks weren't working after a very disappointing experience at BP. Boris helped us understand everything. Quick answers to all our questions, provided a very fast estimate complete with pictures of the problem parts. And when it was more than the car was worth they did not charge us for the work they did. Extremely polite, knowledgeable and professional service. They will be my first call next time I have car issues.

After another place in town canceled my appointment, they were able to sneak me in and get my car in working order quickly! They explained everything they were doing to my vehicle and layed out all of my options, and answered all my questions without talking down to me as I have felt at other repair shops. SUPER pleased with my experience, I will be going back to Christian Brothers for the rest of my car needs from now on!Service: Brakes

Great service. They said they could fit me in THAT DAY, AND THEY DID! It was very prompt service and I was very happy. All the information they sent me was Easy-to-Read with a nice phone call, and that would recommend them to customers in the future.

So I brought my Kia in for a 2nd option on why the AC wasn't working. This was after a Kia dealer had worked on something else, and all of a sudden it stopped working. Christian Bro's checked for leaks and found none, but we thought there may have been a pinhole leak. They charged it up. They let me know I can bring it back for a follow up if the "leak" returns.Now, it's 6 weeks later, we've driven to Branson and back, Chicago and back, and ... it's still working fine!!!! AC is as good as it was a year ago!All I can figure is that when the Kia dealer replaced the engine last year, someone messed up and didn't recharge it (despite telling me a hose was broken)... I can't believe another place wanted me to spend $2,000-$3,000 on a new compressor, when all it took was a $230 inspection and recharge here at Christian Bros.Anyhow, thanks for shooting straight with me and taking the time to explain what it might be, and take the conservative path rather than jumping right to an expensive replacement. I very much appreciate it. Would recommend.

They were able to get me a same day appt. and shuttle me home and back so I didn t have to sit and wait in the lobby while my car was being worked on. The staff is Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. "Christian" brothers??? When I first walked in a man who worked there asked if I wanted some coffee. I said no thank you but asked if they had soda. His response was they didn't have soda but they had beer.They had said to bring my vehicle in at 7 am and they'd have my vehicle looked at in the morning. I called around 10:30, they said they hadn't got it in the shop yet but it was next in line. I called again around 1 and they said they still didn't have any information. I called at 1:30 and talked to the manager who just wanted me to come get my vehicle. I said I wanted to know what was wrong with it, I had already wasted most the day. At around 3 they still hadn't called me so I called again they said they still didn't have an answer so I said I would just come get my vehicle. When I went in to get it they actually had an answer but just wanted me to get it out of their shop. See, I think they had an answer all day, just didn't want to do the work so made me come get my vehicle. I would NEVER do business with them again!!!
