Exceptional service! Service advisor was very professional and courteous. Very friendly staff all around! My car was completed in a very timely manner and I was very happy with the cost. This was my first experience with Brakes Plus and I will definitely be returning for my next service. Thank you Matt and Tom.

Just wanted to tell you guys that this place is official. Took my charger in for some work and they made sure that i got the best possible deal. Ill be doing my business with them from now on. Rick and the rest of the staff are a great bunch.

Rick and his team got us right in on a Saturday morning, in the greater Des Moines' area. We were extremely pleased with the quick, friendly, and knowledgeable service. We will definitely be back for future services!

I got new tires, so I went in for an alignment. I easily made my appt online. They got me in early and it was done in less than 30 minutes. Fair price. Very courteous. I highly recommend!

Customer service is fantastic. Gave them 3 stars because they forgot or didnt install properly my air filter cover. I was having hard accelaration after my brake service. Everytime i stepped on the gas and try hitting 2500 rpm and above, the engine was having a hard time hitting that rpm. Returned my car back to them because my car was running ok before the brake service. (Got a brake flush and the location of the brake fluid reservoir is just above the air filter house). Told them what s happening and they test drove it. They say everything sounds ok and nothings wrong with it. I went back home and checked everything and noticed that my air filter box is not properly closed or not totally closed.Aside from that, brake job was fantastic and gave me a reasonable price.

Went for tire alignment . Car started to drive worst after going there. I called and they had me come back in so they could check it out . They all gathered around me and tried to make me seem crazy claiming nothing was wrong with my car . Took my car to two different shops and the dealership I got my car from & found out BrakesPlus never did the alignment that I PAID them for . I recommended it to all my friends because I believed the price was great and thought I was receiving the service . I would never recommend this place to anyone . Be careful especially if you are a woman ! Mechanics love to take advantage of that . Listen to your gut and if you know something is wrong get a second opinion . Glad I did !

Rick took care of me. It was my 1st time visiting. I lost my coupon but he found one that saved me more money. Very honest and friendly. Will definitely go back and recommend them for services.

Absolutely awesome experience with truly a professional staff. Actually showed me the things that were wrong with my mercedes. Spoke to me about a different options for repair. Then promptly did the repairs I asked for. Even the manager and general manager came out and worked with their team on my car to make sure it was as good as it can be. Five star all the way and the price was damn reasonable

Nicole, Rick, and Tom were awesome. I didn t have an appointment and they got me right in. They did a full inspection of my car and explained and showed me everything they found. I have an older car so I knew it needed stuff but I loved that I was shown everything. Pricing was way less than I would have thought and I had my car back the same day. I m a customer for life now. Thank you guys so much

I do Doordash and I was doing my morning dash and my check engine light came on. I was really worried that it was gonna be way expensive but I was happy that it was a price that I could afford. The check engine light came on because spark plugs were bad I finished my delivery and then I m gonna go see if it right at 8 o clock and see if I can get in. They got me in and got me back on the road by 10 o clock. I was so happy because I did not have an appointment and they took care of me right away if you want took care of fast, go to brakes plus Road in Ankeny it s right across from discount tires

I came in because my car was making noise. They took me in without an appointment and showed me the noise I was hearing. I also had a broken piece by my tires I had no idea about. Very honest and great prices. I am a customer from here on out. I overheard Nicole teaching the crew and was impressed. Great place for auto repairs for sure

We have used brakes plus now twice since they opened and have been thoroughly impressed. We ve bounced around using several different mechanics in the area for years. Nicole and Tom and the others communicated better than any other shop and went out of their way to make sure that we were taken care of. I m sold on them.

They held my car hostage until I agreed to get my brakes through them. I took my car there to get an estimate. I went to my mechanic in Des Moines the day before and they gave me a quote that was pretty high, they also told me that I had a few months before they absolutely needed to be replaced. Brakes Plus was quite a bit cheaper, so I ended up getting my brakes through them. I got there around 1:30 in the afternoon and left about 5:50 that night, not the way I wanted to spend my day off. They gave me a bunch of coupons, like I would want to do business with them again. At least I have new brakes, just not a good experience.

I couldn't have asked for a better service experience at Brakes Plus. I was greeted by Tom when I walked through the door. He was really friendly, courteous, and professional. I really appreciated the fact that Tom was honest with me. No up-sale, only what the car needed. My service time was fast and without any hassle. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles back to Brakes Plus!

Came in because my brakes were making noise. They were very quick and to the point. Cassie then noticed my windshield wipers were completely destroyed and it had just started raining. Just another way tires plus has shown me how much they care about their customers.

I went to Brakes Plus on Oralabor Rd in Ankeny and the women that worked there kept it real with me and looked out for me and put coupons on the costs and saved me money and helped me so that I could get the brakes and the extra stuff that needed to be done. I really appreciated what they did for me. I was on the phone making payment arrangements with my monthly obligations because I didn't have al ot of money just my check from the job after paying my car insurance. . It's good to know that people do care and are willing to help and understand a person circumstances. I made another appointment with them to get an oil change and battery replacement. Thank you to everyone at Brakes Plus for doing a great job and taking care of me and my vehicle.

After receiving a very high quote for brake pads at a dealership I decided to seek elsewhere for a second quote. During my time at Brakes Plus, Tom kept me entertained and laughing the whole time. He did a great job going over the quotes with me and figuring out what needs to be done asap based on my budget.

Very polite technicians and workers, they showed me the issue with my vehicle and explained everything to me then when the work was done and part replaced they showed me again. They were quick to get me in and back out in a timely manner. Will definitely use them again if I ever need work done on my vehicle.

I went to Brakes Plus to get a break check and I was greeted by Tom who led me through the entire process. I needed lots of work done to my breaks and Tom explained the entire process to me and went over prices with me. He and the crew were very friendly and inviting. I was getting ready to make a two hour trip to visit family for the holidays when I started to hear some grinding in my brakes. I didn t have an appointment but they still got me in pretty quick even though they seemed busy. They took the time to bring me out to the car and show me what was wrong. As well as give me options for pricing to fix the issues. Was over all a good experience. Thanks Brakes Plus!

I called on a Monday, and they got me a next-day appointment; Tom at the front desk got me checked in and explained and showed me the condition of my breaks and my options. Overall, it was a good experience.

Took my jeep in on October 23rd 2023 for an oil pressure sensor issue and fix another issue with my vehicle, charged me 1080 which I didn t think was horrible and they did fix it! This past Wednesday on Jan 31st my oil pressure light came back on so I took it back to them on Friday feb 2nd 2024. They fixed it under warranty no questions asked but hooked up my serpentine belt on wrong! It completely shredded and went all over my engine bay! Will never come back here again!

They cross threaded my lug nut and won t even respond to a email about maybe possibly making it right. If they can t get a lug nut on right don t trust them

Great people to deal with. Thought I needed a new battery, they did not give me the hard sell, They said, "lets test it". Did not need a new battery. They also took care of my broken posts on one of my wheels. Greatly appreciate the customer service. Very Friendly.

I came in for a free brake check, the scheduling process was super easy and flexible. Tom has been super helpful with helping me understand what is wrong with my car and making sure I'm updating every step of the way. He's also extremely friendly which is a major plus when waiting for your car to get done!

2nd visit there in 2024 (for different reasons each visit) Ryne helped me today with an oil change and offered good advice for maintaining my vehicle. Got helped first visit by Rick and team for brake work on my car last month.
