Called to get a quote thinking it would be a few days to tow and they were able to pick up my car within 15 minutes. Driver Alex was super friendly and helpful. Ankeny towing truly offers that small community Ankeny customer service. Highly recommend them!!

Amazing folks at Ankeny Towing! Fast responses, affordable pricing! Keep up the fantastic work!We had a blown tire on the side of the road. Due to soft gravel on the shoulder, and the tire completely gone, we had to call a tow truck. They helped us get the vehicle up in a safe manner to replace the tire.

Cannot thank Ankeny towing enough for nonstop answering their phone and than just calling the insurance company themselves to get my car towed. So very nice and understanding every single call. Idk what I would've done without them.

These people came out on a Sunday I had hit a log on I-35 and had a flat tire among other problems. They tpwed my car and gave me a ride they changed my tire for me also . What great service ca t day enough about this business!

Refused to accept my insurance, and only would do service with me if I paid out of pocket. The reasoning for that, even though they are an in network provider for my road side service is because they are busy and won t take calls because insurance pays them less then charging their call in customers.

First time ever Using Ankeny towing, to have my car picked up and delivered to a shop to get fixed the guy who picked up my car was very professional and polite. I will definitely recommend to my family and friends to use Ankeny towing and will use them again if needed.

I'm grateful for the professionalism of Ankeny towing. My motorcycle had a flat. They picked me up just a little out of town.They were able to get me towed safely and in a reasonable amount of time. Price was reasonable and my motorcycle was treated like it was their own.Thank you.

They called before leaving to tell me when to meet them. The gentleman tried everything he could to get the car started first before towing. Jumping with a jump pack. Tapping in the starter. The whole nine yards. Then with my help we maneuvered the vehicle so he could winch it up on the truck. Strapped it down really well and safely. Then took my payment and took it to the shop. Couldn t have gone better. Thank You!

Shawn and the staff here were wonderful. I was involved in an auto accident a few hours before a planned flight out of the DSM airport. I was unable to get an Uber or Lyft, but Shawn was kind enough to give me a ride to the airport ensuring I didn't miss an important flight. Wonder guy and equally great interaction with his staff during this less than pleasant experience.

Do not recommend using Ankeny Towing. Generally I am calm and collected in nature. I not in that nature after talking with the guy at Ankeny Towing (you know who are). I was treated like dirt for trying to pick up my car. Had to make several trips to appeal their demands and at the end they made me find my own car in the yard. Advice, be nice to your customers. Ankeny Towing picked up our van on the side of I35 this past weekend. There were 7 vehicles that needed a tow and we all called around the same time, but Ankeny Towing showed up for our vehicle first in a timely manner. They were patient with us as we moved the carseat's and our triplet 10-month old's to a different vehicle and got our van out of there in no time. Kind, helpful, timely, patient.Service: Car towing

No not use this company! If it wasn't for my boyfriend being home our truck would've been towed. My boyfriend went outside to ask why our truck was being towed and the employee called his boss because he had no license plate number or vin number to identity the truck that was suppose to be towed. When he called, he was told he was towing the wrong truck. Keep in mind when my boyfriend first saw his truck being towed the employee had opened the door to the our truck, which he had to buisness doing. I called the company and stated my frustrated and wanted an explanation on how this happened. I asked which truck was suppose to be towed and he stated a red chevy, our truck is BLACK. I asked how he can show up with no vin or license plate number to make sure that the right vehicle is being towed. He wasn't able to give me an explanation. I also asked why he needed to open the door to our vehicle, he told me he was looking for the vin. I stated the vin is located on the dash so there was no need for that. So unprofessional and they did not seem to care about what happened.

To all the contractors out there looking for a towing company to work with DO NOT USE!! This company only cares about their own profit! Owner is lazy thinks he s right even when the proof shows he s wrong because he wants to profit from it and he s contractor is going to loose an customer because of him, owner of Ankeny towning is dumber then a rock LITERALLY

First time I needed a towing service after my car would not start.. Found Ankeny Towing online. They did not disappoint. I did not wait with my car. It took about 2 hours for pickup due to it was -10 degrees that morning and they were busy. Payment was online and receipt was texted to my phone promptly. Good job and company.

I have used Ankeny towing several times and have never had a bad experience with them. Our most recent experience was towing one of our cars to the repair garage, then several weeks later had the same car towed back to our house. Both times, our driver was Thad. He was very courteous and friendly getting this vehicle where it had to go in the time frame we needed. Thank you Ankeny Towing and Thad!Service: Car towing

I've had to use Ankeny towing multiple times and while it sucks to need these services, this company is great. If you need a tow, they're the best. The employees are always super nice, professional, and the service is always quick and on-time.*Update* since writing this review I've used Ankeny towing at least two more times and every time I'm so happy with the service. Their towing services are completely hassle-free.

Very quick service. Tow bill was what I expected. They billed the shop I went to directly so I didn t have to have two bills. Would have been awesome had the driver asked for my keys instead of taking vehicle without them.

Super rude on the phone. It was going to be a 1.5 to 2 hour wait, which was fine. However, we pretty much had to force the guy on the phone to take down our number to call us when they were on their way. I don t see how it s reasonable to assume someone is going to sit and wait for 2 hours, hope this isn t company policy. On the other hand, the guy that actually helped us out on site was very polite and helpful.Service: Car lockouts

I have used Ankeny Towing twice and each time has been a good experience, other than my car needing towed. Today I needed them again and the driver was very nice. I was pretty close to home and decided I would just walk home. After taking the car to the repair shop I realized I forgot to give him the keys and would need to drop them off the next day. As I was walking down the street the driver showed up apologizing about not asking if I needed a ride which I assured him that it was OK and it was a nice night for a walk but accepted the ride and thanked him. After dropping me off at home he said he would would drop my keys off at the shop for me. Awesome service for me not having to drop them off after forgetting to give him the keys.Thanks again Patrick.

Great service. The wait was not not long at all considering my call was likely during the worst time of the day. Eric did a really great job, was courteous, and truly cared about getting it done properly. He is one hell of a good driver too! Getting a tow is never fun for anyone involved, but Eric made it suck a lot less than normal thanks to the level of service and care he provided.

I had Ankeny Towing tow a vehicle of mine that I lost a key to out to Mercedes-Benz. It was in an awkward spot so when it was loaded on the flatbed it was pulled sideways and bent the tie rods. I didn't know this until l went to pick it up from Mercedes-Benz after the key was made. I called in and explained the situation. They asked for pictures and the bill from it. I emailed them all the information from Mercedes-Benz and without any arguments they sent me a check back for the work in the mail. I have always had great experience with this business and I would highly recommend them for any towing needs. They are by far the best and most transparent towing company around the Des Moines metro.Service: Local hauling

Needed a late night tow and he said he would be there within the hour and I think I waited about 30 minutes or so. Way faster than what I expected! Very reasonable and got me taken care of fast and professional. Highly recommended, although I hope I don't have to use them anytime again soon!

Coldest day of the year and my car wouldn t start. My roadside assistance couldn t find anyone due to all the calls taking place with this nationwide cold snap. So I called Ankeny Towing. They said they would be there in 25 minutes and they showed up on 15. Jump started the car right away for $40. Fast and efficient service. Highly recommend them, thanks for the great service!!Service: Battery
