I've gone to Interstate Battery for years to buy all kinds of batteries. They have always treated me well, but their car battery replacement service was beyond outstanding. It took much longer than expected because of serious corrosion, but the challenge was met with a can-do attitude and an apology for taking a while to battle a battery that did not want to cooperate. No auto parts store will give you this kind of service. I'm a customer for life.

I thought I needed a new battery. James was helping and grabbed the battery I was going to buy. I told James what my car's symptoms were so before he installed the battery, he ran some tests. He tested my old battery and checked the charging system. The current battery tested fine and the charging circuit was working. Turns out the terminals needed to be cleaned up and tightened. After James did that, the car started like a champ. These guys are ruthlessly honest. James didn't even charge for the battery terminal cleaning and tightening. That's an honest person. I will definitely be back to Interstate when I do need a new battery. Thank you, James.

I was helped by Robbie and Oscar in the Ames store. #9003.They were absolutely patient and respectful with me. They stayed a bit longer to help me, because I got caught in gameday traffic.I also have been treated very well by Jenna and Karly in Huxley.Ever since I moved from Austin, TX.... these people have been AWESOME!!! Honest, reliable, cool and hardworkers. Thank You!!!

Very knowledgeable, helpful. Even came outside to help me in, and carried my batteries out to my car. All three employees that day and the one I spoke to on the phone the previous day, were very friendly, and efficient.

I'm traveling for work and I managed to smash my smartphone screen. The tech at Interstate All Batteries fixed my phone good as new in under 3 hours. Lifesaver! Very professional and courteous staff, plus they were $20 less expensive than their competitor. Highly recommend!

This store is amazing! Isaac and Nick are the most wonderful employees that could ever be hired. The company has no idea the prospects they found. They are knowledgeable, curtious, respectful, helpful, professional, great smiles, and all around a gem. I've been told but at least a score of people to go to them in Ames. After visiting the store, I know why. Their products are way more superior to any store I've ever been to and they have benifits!!!!! You would be stupid to go anywhere else.

Very quick and courteous! I had taken my items in for repair at another location in Des Moines and waited 2 days only to find out they were unable to make the repair... I contacted the Ames location while I was in town and they were able to make the repair in less than 2 hours for a fraction of the price I was prepared to spend online!

I've had good service through this location. I appreciate that they take batteries to be recycled which has been my main use of them. They've helped unloaded them and been quick to aid me.

Whether you need just a car battery or more specialty batteries interstate is a solid choice. We were looking for a battery to go in a man lift. The piece of equipment sits outside and experience is a lot of cold. The staff help us figure out the ideal battery to hold up to those conditions.

Nancy and Lanna's positive and friendly attitude was a welcome addition to our event. Students were very receptive of their message about keeping your smoke detector batteries current. Great place to get all kinds of batteries. Service is great, they take the time to replace the battery in your watch, or whatever you may need. They also take used up batteries for recycling.

Very bad. Their warranty process is the worst in the business. RUN from Interstate battery. If you have a bad battery they will take 24 hours before they will warranty it.

Every conceivable battery and battery pack one could need! From car, motorcycle and boat batteries, to power tools, even hearing aid batteries, Interstate is the only place I go.They will also recycle ANY used battery!
