I love shops like this! Hands down, any day, I'll take my car here for tires or repairs over a dealership or big name shop! Small guys like this get overlooked and really don't get the business they deserve because people look at aesthetics instead of the actual work performed. I'll be back time and time again! Affordable and quick to work! Great service all the time!

Ames Tire is a great business and a fantastic team. I got a nail in my rear tire that caused a slow leak. I drove up, and they had my tire repaired, and I was on my way in less than twenty minutes. Their rate was magnificent. I will use them again. It is refreshing to see this kind of business.

Found a screw in my tire while passing through Ames. Needed a quick fix, called a few places nearby and no one was available on short notice except Ames Tire Shop. Got in and out in 20min for a patch job. Super reasonable price and speedy work!

Got a used tire from these guys almost 9 months ago now and the thing still runs fine, good tread. Very grateful for the reasonable price and quick service. I'll be back for sure.

I had a slow leak/nail in my tire. I pulled right up, the very nice men working there got it repaired for me in 10-20 minutes @ a very reasonable price ($20). I highly recommend them & will be back when the need arises! Thank you!

Great place! Called today because my daughter had a flat tire. It was unrepairable. They had a used tire that fit her car and had it done in no time! Great, Fast, and reliable work!! Will definitely use again!

So far, so good! While at school, I was hoping to God that I'd find a good place to get my tire patched without spending too much. These guys were the solution! They did a great job and I have not gotten another tire light since! Thank you guys again!

This place is the best place in town if you need fix anything related to tires and suspension. Very honest people and affordable prices. They are always willing to help in a timely manner. While many other business in the area are very arrogant and will make you wait a week to fix something, these guys do it in less than an hour. I wish they did more car stuff like body work or changing timing belts so I could always bring my car there. Don't think twice before doing business with them. Thanks a lot Ames Tire Shop!

Daughter goes to school at ISU and picked up a nail in her tire. She drove here with no appointment and they took care of her repair very quickly. Reasonable price for what needed to be done.

Trino is the best! He got my Subaru in working order in a matter of days. He s detail-oriented and easy to talk to. He noticed the last car repair place I went to installed my alternator wrong/loose, which was the root of my car problems.

I left my tires way too long and the guy helped me get some great tires fast at an inconvenient time. Got them all changed the next day in just over an hour on new years eve too so he really helped me out on timing all for a good price and without any sort of emergency upcharge.I'm worried I insulted him though when I asked for my lock nut key right away, but that's because I would totally have forgotten about it not because I was suspicious of anything so if you read this sorry!

Called this shop when my daughter had a flat while away at school. He quoted me a price and got her in right away and honored his quote even though it sounds like there were 2 issues and not just the bead. She said they were very nice and I will send her there again if needed. Thank you!

Was traveling through from Missouri to South Dakota and had a leak and everyone couldn't get to it that day. When we called them they said yes come on down and fixed it!! We made it safe!! Thank you so much for being so fast and helping us out!!

Had a flat away from home and wasn't able to get in at some of the main stream auto shops on a Saturday. Ames Tire Shop got us in right away, was very efficient, and had very reasonable pricing. He got our tire off, repaired and put back on the vehicle before we got our order at McDonalds across the street!! Made it the 300miles home without any trouble!Thank you Ames Tire Shop!!

I could not ask for better service than what my daughter received from Trino at Ames Tire Shop. She needed new tires and he worked with us to find the best tire at the best cost. Within 24 hours of calling and settling on a set the tires were on her car and he worked around her schedule. Excellent service!

Awoke to a completely flat tire on my road trip. Found this one man shop with walk-in service onSaturday mid-day after a couple hours of getting the damaged tire removed (ugh the lug nuts). Fantastic timely service on a Saturday. by owner.THANK YOU Trino!

Replaced my rim on my Mercedes Benz C450 in a quick and timely manner for a super low price. I would definitely recommend this place for fast and cheap prices compared to else where. Great and honesty guy!

Driving through town we heard a tire noise and stopped in to fix a potential flat. With no waiting we were greeted right away and the helpful mechanic checked out all 4 tires. He found that the problem wasn't actually a nail (as I thought) but just a harmless noise from a hubcap. He put everything together and got us back on our way with no charge.
