Very very pleased with the work Altoona Auto Body did!!!!!!!! The ladies in the office are very nice and knowledgeable. They had the vehicle done in time frame given to me. They will definitely get all my business for auto body work!!!!! Already have them set to do custom body work and paint on a 96 blazer for me . I m excited to see the finished product when there done

Great experience. Had to bring my vehicle in for repairs after a wreck and they were very prompt with communication. They had updates every step of the process and got done two days earlier than expected. After I received it I noticed something wasn t correct and I took it the next day and they fixed it right away! Great service, great team!

I tore off the right front bumper of my KIA K5... Altoona Auto Body fixed her up good as new. Everyone was very knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. Altoona Auto Body is the BEST!!!!!

Had the pleasure of working with this shop on my prius, and they did a phenomenal job. Good communication, great work, and I was specifically impressed that they did such a great job with paint matching my replacement bumper. Looks OEM.This shop was highly recommended by friends of mine to me, and now I highly recommend it to you. Great work Laura and team!

I cannot express how much I appreciate the team of Altoona Auto Body! Quick service, very responsive, and made it so easy to work through insurance claims. In fact, once I had an insurance claim # to Desirae and the team, that was all I needed to do. They were so fantastic when I reached out for support, they even scheduled the tow truck to get our vehicle to their shop from West Des Moines. When I had questions about a rental vehicle through my insurance, they were helpful again. The extra little things is what makes them the best.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I was recommended to go to Altoona Auto Body when my drivers side was wrecked by a deer! I could not speak highly enough for the two ladies in the office! They communicated almost daily on where they were at with the progress on fixing it, worked directly with my insurance company and made my life honestly way too easy!! It was so, so nice to be taken care of the way they did! I hopefully never have to use them again but I know if something else happens- there will be no questions about where I will be taking my vehicle!

My car had been rear ended and I had NEVER been to an auto body shop and really didn t know what to expect. I wanted to support local family owned and Altoona Auto Body was on my State Farm list, they communicated clearly with me and stayed in touch every step of the way answering questions before I asked. My car is like new again and I couldn t be happier with my experience!! Highly recommend!!

Desirae, the owner was a pleasure to work with. Any concerns we had were taken care of quickly and professionally. The staff we had contact with was courteous and helpful. We were updated regularly on the process of the repairs. The roof, which has a power sunroof, was replace on our car. The roof now looks like new!Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

By far the best body shop I ve been to. The minute I walked inside I was greeted with two friendly faces and enjoyed talking to both of the ladies up front. My car wasn t in the best shape prior to having them work on it. They took care of all the tedious paperwork with the insurance company. When they finished my car it came out looking better than I thought it would. I will definitely be coming back if I ever have issues with my vehicle again.Service: Window repair

I walked in and had an estimate done on my car. They gave me an accurate estimate that was comparable to others in the area. With the polite, friendliness, and timely service I decide to go with them. They did an excellent job on the car. When I went to pick the car up they inform me the cost was less then the estimate and passed the savings on. I then had them give me another estimate on another part of the car. Again they were within the price of the others in the area and with the previous work I had done I decide to go with them again. This time the work was a little more then they estimated but they did not charge me the extra. I received excellent service from them both with work and with friendliness. I would definite recommend these folks. They do excellent work, stick to what you agree upon, and if you have any questions they are willing to go the extra mile to explain things to you and make sure you understand what is going to happen. Great people to work with.

Took our car there after an accident. The office manager Laura, up front was very polite, professional and answered all of my questions. She got our estimate the very next day and had it submitted to the insurance company. Laura did a fantastic job at making sure quality parts were used and refused to let the insurance company use sub par parts. We couldn t be happier with the job that everyone at Altoona Auto body did. I would highly recommend them to anyone!! You could never guess that our car was in an accident.Service: Painting

Awesome experience. Was rear ended and they took care of everything with the guy s insurance who hit me. Phenomenal work on my 2015 Audi A5. like the accident never happened.Being able to drop the rental car off was convenient as well. Would highly recommend and return should another fender bender happen.Thanks Desirae!

I had an estimate done on some minor damage on the hood of my car and they were super helpful, even saw me very close to closing because of my work schedule. Estimate in hand I went through my insurance and these guys took care of everything for me where my claim was concerned and the work was beautiful! Looks brand new! You guys are great, thank you!

The ladies in the front office were very helpful. I was impressed by there welcoming attitudes from just talking over the phone, but then was blown away at their hospitality when I had to get my items from my car. The guys in the body shop were also very helpful and professional! I will definitely recommend this body shop!

I can't speak highly enough about this place! They were attentive, friendly, helpful, and did a killer job of repairing a vehicle that I was concerned was totaled. They went above and beyond what was necessary to make sure my experience was amazing and the end result shows. It's like I have a brand new Jeep! I would 100% use them again.

We are from Sioux City. As we were driving through Des Moines a few days before Thanksgiving, we were sideswiped on I-80 by a semi truck. We had bad damage to both driver side doors. The people at Altoona Auto Body helped us get a rental car so we could get back on the road for the Thanksgiving holiday. They also did top notch work on the repairs needed for our car. We highly recommend Altoona Auto Body. Nice, friendly people as well as quality workmanship.

I had a slight collision with a deer that left my bumper slightly higher on one side than the other. They charged me and my insurance company for a new bumper and put it on. They Returned the vehicle looking the same as when I dropped it off. When I told them this they looked at it again and said it was a bracket. They ordered the small part and fixed it. It looked ok in the end. I question why I paid for a new bumper (the majority of the cost) when I didn t need one. I have experience with one other body shop in Altoona that I don t recommend either.

Altoona Auto Body has always done great work on our vehicles! Recently my husband decided to update the appearance of our 2007 Silverado and repair some minor body damage. AAB had our truck for 3 days and completed all the work! When we picked it up we were thrilled with the 'new' look! Our son thinks our truck is the coolest truck around:) Immediately after picking it up, we encountered a mechanical problem and Jim and Jason stopped to help us out! The entire staff at AAB really go above and beyond to help their customer! Their prices are very reasonable and their work is great! Thank AAB for being a great company to work with!

Would not recommend. I took my vehicle in to get a cash estimate and was greated with rudeness, and hostility. Informed the front desk lady of my request and was told they did not care. After posting a review on Facebook the owner argued with me that I must have posted a review on the wrong page. I assure you it was posted to the right page. After that they disabled Facebook reviews. I will not recomend this place to anyone, and will not recomend a company that tries to hide honest feedback of their poor attitudes.
